Theme Park Crush

Summary:

Oikawa and some friends are visiting a theme park. Coincidentally, so is Iwaizumi and his friend. What will happen when Oikawa lays his eyes on the other for the first time?

Notes:

(See the end of the work for notes.)

Work Text:

“Why are the entrance queues always so long here? The park isn’t even open yet. IT MAKES NO SENSE!” The dragged out complaint, gradually getting louder as it erupted from the small ginger, bothered Oikawa more than usual. It was either that or the fact that he was also tired of standing in the queue. He just wanted to go into the park already.

The silver haired boy, noticing the negativity coming from the two others, decided to take matters into his own hands by bonking both boys on the head.

“Instead of ruining today before it’s even begun, why don’t we plan out our day whilst we have the chance.”

So that’s what they did for the next 25 minutes whilst they waited for the ever growing queue to die down. Somehow they had to wait almost an hour before getting into the theme park despite arriving 30 minutes before opening hours. It was summer after all though and many families will be wanting to spend as much time in the sun as possible. Honestly the brunette somewhat wished it had rained that morning so that at least some potential guests would be scared off. Plus the rain only made the rides that much more thrilling.

He took back that wish after realising his hair would be ruined and any potential soulmates would run away at the pure sight of the drenched version of himself.

/////

Iwaizumi was at the security check laughing his ass off. The current situation couldn’t be more amusing. Watching the awkward mess that is Kageyama Tobio be searched down after the metal detectors went off over a simple house key he had forgotten to put into his bag earlier was funnier than any comedian he had seen in the past. The pure sight of the boy standing there with a scared expression on his face, which soon turned to a mix of anger and embarrassment, was enough to crack the stern personality of the other.

Eventually he was able to walk away.

“Shut up.” He said annoyance in his voice as he was walking right past Iwaizumi and straight into the park.
“I'm sorry, okay.” The other never stopped. “Wait for me!” He ran after, knocking Kageyama over as he crashed right into the back of the younger boy.

Were they being immature? Sure.
Did they care? No.

Why would they? The whole point of today was to destress and have fun and that's what they
had planned to do.

Naturally their eyes were both pulled to the kids' tea cups only a short distance away and in a quick somewhat telepathic way both boys sprinted towards it. There was no queue after all.
“Seriously.” The ride operator looked at the two with what can only be described as a ‘are you serious look’ as the two boys climbed into the teacup.

“My little brother here is still too scared for the big rides so I agreed to go on the ones he enjoyed as well.” Iwaizumi said with a genuine expression only furthering the annoyance building up in his younger friend.

/////

“Eventually we are in.” They all said in unison. Luckily for them they got through security with no troubles. All three of them visited theme parks regularly so it was no surprise that they knew what you could have on your person and what had to be in your bags, unlike somebody else.

“So first we planned to go onto the weird snake rollercoaster thing right?” Hinata questioned.

“The bob-slide one. It’s called Avalanche.” The brunette began walking in the familiar direction.

To be truthful, despite being a theme park regular, Oikawa wasn’t the biggest fan of rollercoasters. Sure he enjoyed them from time to time but going upside down on a cart wasn’t his favourite thing in the world. In Fact he had never even gone on an extreme rollercoaster. He was sure with enough pressure he would do so though. After all he wouldn’t want to disappoint his two friends by making them feel guilty and undoubtedly just not go on the coaster so their friend wouldn’t be alone.

The Avalanche was a one he liked though.

(Timeskip - 10 minutes later.)

The queue was shortish compared to normal, only being around 30 minutes compared to the usual queue of almost an hour if not more than. The only thing ruining this queue was the group of kids in front of them. They were originally behind them but kids are sneaky and the bad moderation of queues on this ride allowed them to push in front. Hinata, not looking much older than them, tried to reason with the employees when arriving at the security check before they could get on the ride but since they were kids they got away with it.

Oikawa hated kids.He also hated the E-ticket scanner thing since one minute the screenshot on his phone was too small and when zoomed in was too large. When the right size his phone wasn’t positioned correctly. Why were they so complicated, there was no need for it.

“Are we going on in one pair and someone by themselves or are we all going by ourselves?” Sugawara asked, raising a point they hadn’t thought of before.

“I’m going by myself, this ride is uncomfortable as fuck with two people.” The brunette simply stated. Eventually the others agreed on going by themselves. The three then went through the gates and stood by the gate to each cart. Hinata insisted on being at the front, behind him was Oikawa and the third in the row was sugawara who also wanted to be at the front but refused to get into a scuffle with the stubborn shrimp who was known for getting his way a lot.

You would think that someone would have eventually stood up to Hinata and just said no but it would take hours of convincing before he’d give in and I'm sure nobody had enough energy or even cared that much to deal with the issue. In some ways it was like raising a child. Only the child was 15 and much more stubborn.

The ride pulled back at the station and the previous riders got off. The gates opened and everyone took their seats, leaving any bags in the spaces provided,

The ride took off and began ascending up the chain lifts. Oikawa wasn’t afraid of heights. He was planning on going on ‘The Big One’ after this and that was 235ft tall so height wasn’t an issue. It was the thought of being upside down that was. The ride eventually reached the top of the hill and began to descend down the bob slide.

The coaster eventually came to an end and they all exited the ride. Grabbing their bags on the way and making their way through the exit.

Oikawa liked Avalanche, it was the perfect ride to start the day. Not too extreme but more thrilling than a kids coaster.

/////

Being thrown about through twists and turns whilst in an unfamiliar position for a coaster was the reality of Iwaizumi and Kageyama. The younger having made the rash decision to go straight from the teacups to the coaster known as ‘Hero’ has undoubtedly been the downfall of the day. Both boys knew they’d be bruised from the ride by the end of the day.

It was fun however and it never stopped them from going on twice.

Right when Iwaizumi was going for a third go, Kageyama took notice of the shorter queue for the ride known as ‘The Big One’. Sneakily dragging Iwaizumi to the ride of his doom he ran off leaving Iwaizumi to trail behind and unknowingly join the queue for the ride. Only once in the queue for 10 minutes had the older taken notice of just where he was. The 235ft ride.

Iwaizumi didn’t like heights and had made the point of not going on this coaster ever. He wanted to leave the queue but there was no way he was embarrassing himself like that.

That's when an overly pretty boy had joined the queue only a few people behind.

Before he knew it, the time had come and he was sitting on the ride about to take off. Kageyama began laughing his ass off at his senior. This was his revenge for all the teasing leading up to this moment. The scared expression on his usually strong and brave friend was enough to send the moody boy into a fit of laughter.

“Sweet revenge.”
The coaster began the large drop, much to Iwaizumis’ demise.

/////

Now standing at the coaster gates Oikawa turned to his friends. Sugawara being on his own this time.

“Did you see him?” Oikawa gushed, confusing the others.

“Who?” They asked in union before the younger spoke up. “The boy with the raven hair? If so then eyes off he’s mine.”

“You don’t even know him.” Sugawara said, with a deadpan expression. “And I doubt that’s who Oikawa meant. He isn't his type.”

“Suga, you know me too well.” Oikawa dramatically swayed backwards, hand to his forehead whilst the other was pointed towards Sugawara. “But no. I meant his friend or brother… It doesn’t matter anyway, I meant the more handsome one.”

“Personally I believe my choice is more handsome but you and your bad taste can continue their ways and not see the truthful choice which is mine.”

Oikawa and Sugawara looked at the other in disbelief. Even Suga agreed with Oikawa. Even so, what was Hinata even saying? They both tuned him out as soon as he began.

The coaster pulled back at the station and soon the handsome boy was on his way out. To Oikawa he seemed shaken and it was honestly kind of cute. If only he could find some way to impress him. Soon Oikawa and the others were strapped down in the cart and the ride took off.

Instead of focusing on the immense height he was up at, Oikawa could only focus on thinking of a way to impress the newfound crush he saw.

Everyone developed random crushes on randoms they see in public, right? It wasn’t just him.

Current Time: 12:30

“The fries are good at least.” Sugawara added trying to make positivity to the situation at hand.
The three of them had gone to the nearest food place in the park since they were all starving after riding many more rides.

Some highlights were the ‘Navigator’ which was a Mega Disk'o-ride, ‘Flip-Flop’ which was a swinging rotation ride and ‘Ice-blast’ which was a 210 ft drop tower.

Back to the situation at hand everyone had gotten their food but it was less than satisfactory. Oikawa was happy with his fries and donuts though. Hinata and Sugawara both got some fried chicken since it was light and easy for their stomachs but this proved to be the wrong choice as both orders had been messed up and Sugawaras’ even came cold.

“Enough about your food, I have a plan.”

“Plan for what?” The silver head said in a miserable tone whilst munching on his cold chicken.

“To get that handsome boy to notice me!” Oikawa gasped as if it was obvious what he was talking about. Which only caused the shorter one to take a chance at being a little shit.

“One, I still don’t understand why you believe he is more handsome than his friend.” Hinata paused but before Oikawa could get a word in he spoke again.

“Two. How do you even know he’s into guys?”

He burst out laughing whilst spitting out many reasons as to why Oikawa's plan was ridiculous.

“Your first point is irrelevant since you’re clearly blind.”

“Says the one that is wearing contacts right now.” Hinata rolled his eyes.

“To answer your second point, I don’t but I just get the vibes from him y’know?”

“No I don’t know and I would rather spend the rest of my day following the plan rather than chasing some guy who probably won’t notice you.”

“You're just jealous that I am pretty and you’re not.”

“AM NOT!”

“AM TOO!”

Sensing the need to calm the situation down, the other friend spoke up. “Okay we will help you but there is one issue. How are we going to find them?”

Oikawa hadn’t thought of that. He was too distracted by the image in his head of the handsome boy with gorgeous olive green eyes and broad arms which were on full display with the boy wearing a tightish t-shirt with black jeans and a hoodie tied around his waist. The outfit was basic but boy did that man pull it off. Oikawa wasn’t even sure of his age but he had to be around the same age so that wasn’t an issue. He had never been into older men so why would he now.

“I guess we could just hope to run into them again, we are all in the same park it can’t be impossible.” Call Oikawa optimistic but the others looked at him in disbelief.

The park wasn’t extremely busy but it was busy. Maybe luck would be on their side, they could eliminate a lot of areas to find them since they most likely wouldn’t be on the kids rides anyway and most of them tended to be around eachother so kids didn’t need to walk far.

The trio finished up eating and set off back into the main attraction area. Instead of going straight onto a ride after eating they would rather blow some money on cheap rigged scams.

Maybe they weren’t so rigged. Sugawara and Hinata both seemed to win matching teddy bears. Hinatas being dark blue and Sugas being the typical standard brown bear. Oikawa didn’t win anything but the young man working on the stand decided to give him a small hedgehog plush so that he wouldn’t feel left out. He wouldn’t have anyway.

Oikawa was known for judging people too soon but the familiar olive green haired boy rubbed him the wrong way. Why was his hair the same colour as the handsome boys anyway there was no need.

They all stuffed their prizes into Oikawa's bag.

Suddenly he caught ‘handsome boys’ friend from the corner of his eye. All three of them exchanged glances so slowly and ‘sneakily’ chased after him. Suddenly he met back up with his friend and they joined the queue for ‘Sik’. This was bad, both friends knew that Oikawa wanted to impress him but his friends also both knew there wasn’t a chance they could get him on the upside down coaster.

“Okay! Let's go.”

Wait what….

/////

Iwaizumi looked over to see how many people had joined the queue since he did. It was a habit he had picked up ever since being a kid, a way to pass the time. That’s when he caught a glimpse of possibly the prettiest boy he had ever laid his eyes on. Iwaizumi never really found people attractive before, this feeling was new. He had known he was gay but no one in particular helped him find that out, he just always knew.

The boy was just standing against the railway of the queue, hand occasionally running through his hair. To Iwaizumi the sight was ethereal.

“You're staring Iwaizumi - san.” Kageyama suddenly pulled Iwaizumis attention back to reality.
“What? No I wasn’t.” He looked over to see his younger friend looking at him, obviously not believing a thing that came out of the older friend's mouth.

“If you're interested, that's fine, I’m almost certain that they followed me here. Most likely for you.”

“That isn’t a fact and even if it was there is no proof that he is the one that’s interested in me.”

“So there is someone you took interest in. Knew It.”

“Kageyama I am going to fucking kill you.”

“No you wouldn’t.”

“Why wouldn’t I?”

“Because you would be friendless without me.”

Iwaizumi sighed. Kageyama wasn’t wrong.

“Anyway, this queue does not look like it is dying down anytime soon.” Kageyama complained. “But which boy is it? The ginger looks annoying.” He paused again “Oh my god, it’s the ginger isn't it. God I thought you had taste. ”

“It isn’t the ginger one and even if it was I wouldn’t be telling you.”

“So the brunette?”

Iwaizumi scoffed, which let Kageyama know that he was correct.

“Fair enough you do have taste.”

/////

Suddenly the trio began boarding the rollercoaster, Oikawa shitting his pants. The handsome duo was on the seats behind and Oikawa felt more need not to embarrass himself in front of who he was yet to know as Iwaizumi.

Sugawara and Hinata sat behind Oikawa. In return for going along with his plan they came to the agreement Oikawa would have to brave the ride by himself. Mainly so they could laugh at him ; he knew this was the reason too.

Oikawa stood shaking his leg. “Excuse me.” Hinata stifled a laugh as he watched the ride operator tend to his friends' needs and by needs he meant questions regarding safety and restraints of the ride.

Sugawara stifled a laugh and Hinata finally cracked as they watched the operator sigh and wipe his forehead in frustration at their friend who had been asking questions for at least 5 minutes.

“Hinata, I can hear you. Shut the fuck up.” This finally cracked Sugawara.

“Assholes.”

Suddenly a muffled laugh was heard from behind Oikawa. Could it have been ‘handsome boy’? Hopefully. But if it was, does that mean it’s a good or bad thing? It was a pretty laugh anyway.

Meanwhile…

Iwaizumi and Kageyama fastened their restraints, they were familiar with this ride and therefore weren’t nervous in the slightest. A vast difference from the boy sitting alone in front of them.

Suddenly he hears said boy call over the ride operator and watching the interaction go down was proving to be difficult when trying to hold in his laughter. He didn’t want to make a bad impression on the pretty boy and he had no idea how the other would take it.

Eventually after a long but hilarious eavesdropping session the operator began walking away wiping a sweat as he did so. Iwaizumi was somehow still going strong.

“Hinata, I can hear you. Shut the fuck up.” Iwaizumi honestly wasn’t sure which friend was Hinata and then took notice of the fact he didn’t even know the pretty boy's name. How would he? The other friend began laughing too and that was enough to cause the boy to snap.

“Assholes.” This finally cracked Iwaizumi. How was it that someone he didn’t even know was managing to make him laugh or catch his attention at all.

After all he was just some pretty boy with swooping brown hair that looked like it would be so soft and fun to run his hand through, brown eyes that he could only imagine caught the attention of many people around him and the outfit that only exaggerated the skinny but somehow built figure underneath. How was it possible to look that perfect?

Eventually the ride took off.

The ride began by ascending up a chainlift which sturred a sense of familiarity in the brunette but that soon ended as the ride soon dropped down swiftly, taking a sharp turn before travelling back up into a loop.
Oikawa had given up on not embarrassing himself. It was impossible to do so instead he just began shouting whatever came to mind whilst the coaster repeatedly went over inversion and inversion.

However Oikawa truly lost it when the coaster non stop turned in a circle.
“FUCK THIS, I DIDNT EVEN GET TO COMPLETE MY PLAN!”

“SHUT UP OIKAWA YOU’RE EMBARRASSING US!”

Oikawa huh? Kageyama caught the name. Iwaizumi was too busy laughing his ass off at the boy's desperate calls for help or complaints with his own life. Some of the best phrases Iwaizumi caught Oikawa shout was:

“Fuck this and fuck you Hinata, my hairs going to need sorted out and I didn’t bring a hairbrush!” The scream that followed this caused it to make the list. Iwaizumi wasn’t even sure if the scream was caused by the coaster or by the frustration of not packing a hair brush that morning.

“Tell my sister to fuck herself! And that if i die she still owes me that money!” This one was out of the blue and only followed by Hinata replying “You go fuck yourself, Aya is hotter and richer than you’ll ever be!”

And the final one which was…

“ATTRACTIVE BOY WAS NOT FUCKING WORTH THIS SHIT!” Followed by “OI YOU BEHIND, WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU CHOOSE TO GO ON THIS!” Iwaizumi was shocked not by the sheer amount of cursing but by the fact that ‘pretty boy’ may have called him attractive. Or was that aimed at Kageyama?

When the coaster came to an end Oikawa couldn’t be faster to drag him and his friends as far away from the two strangers.

“Aww is Tooru embarrassed?” Hinata cooed, mocking his older friend.

“New plan operation, avoid ‘handsome boy.’”

Iwaizumi noticed that the brunette, who he now knew by the name of Tooru, pointed at him whilst saying this which let Iwaizumi know that ‘attractive boy’ was him.

To say he was slightly embarrassed was an understatement, Iwaizumi went into a flustered state and to Kageyama honestly looked like the colour of a flamingo. Iwaizumi had never heard anyone call him handsome or anything other than his family or Kageyama. Usually Kageyama was doing this ironically though.

Iwaizumi decided to go and talk to the other but when he came back to his senses, Tooru was already out of sight.

/////

“So now we are just walking about hoping to not run into them?” Hinata rolled his eyes. “Then what was the point of all of this?”

“The point was to hopefully catch Oikawa’s crushes attention.” Sugawara replied nonchalantly.

“Well now the plan is to avoid them. I’m not embarrassing myself further.” Oikawa walked off.

The other two looked at eachother and let out small laughs at their friends mishap earlier before realising just how far Oikawa had actually managed to walk away.

“WAIT FOR US!” The two others ran to catch up.

For the rest of the day they found themselves riding many different attractions whilst simultaneously avoiding Kageyama and Iwaizumi. Hinata being slightly mad he didn’t try to impress the taller one whilst he had the chance.

Currently the trio was back on ‘Avalanche’ since the queue was very short. Whilst waiting in the queue Sugawara and Hinata tried their best to snap Oikawa out of his embarrassed state and convince him that ‘handsome boy’ had probably already moved on from the situation. That only resulted in another spiral of Oikawa cursing himself for being too honest when scared, or being too extroverted in general. Any introvert wouldn’t have screamed that just because they’re scared right? It had to be a problem with him.

Oikawa was snapped out of his state by the news that the coaster had just broken down and would take a while to fix, therefore they had to leave the queue and find something else to ride.

/////

Current Time - 17:00

The park was closing in half an hour and many guests had left already so queues were down. The trio had planned to leave a little early as well so that they could get transport home quicker rather than be in a long list of guests also waiting for transport. They learned that the hard way.

They had been lucky in avoiding the ‘handsome boy’ thus far and there wasn’t long left, Oikawa was less embarrassed and glad he got through the day without seeing him again. Maybe luck was on his side.

That luck was only stripped away when the three of them decided to go into the queue of the drop tower, ice-blast, again. The queue for ice blast was somewhat hidden until you went into the queue therefore there was no way of knowing who was already queuing. To Oikawa's dismay that just so happened to be Iwaizumi and Kageyama.

Iwaizumi and Kageyama had decided to go onto the drop tower, despite Iwaizumis fear of heights, since Kageyama had begged him to do so in return for Kageyama forgetting about his flustered moments earlier on in the day.

The drop tower was 210 ft tall, sure Iwaizumi had been on the taller rollercoaster today, but that didn’t really help. On that ride he was in a cart. Feet safely touching the floor of said cart, he could also see the railway in front of him. This ride was different, instead his feet would be dangling from his seat and he wouldn;t be able to see the tower behind him. This caused some anxiety in the boy.

Oikawa was currently trying to be subtle and pretend he didn;t even notice that ‘handsome boy’ was there but that was only ruined by none other than Kageyama Tobio.

“Hey Iwaizumi, isn’t that the boy who called you attractive?”

Kageyama's clueless observation had caused Iwaizumi to turn his attention to Oikawa, who was just scowling at the youngest among them. He had no idea who this boy was but he was now number one on Oikawa's shit list. To make matters worse the olive haired boy from the prize stall earlier had decided to join the queue.

That was irrelevant though.

This whole interaction only got worse once through the gates and boarding the ride. The operators clearly wanted to get everyone on as soon as possible, even going so far as to seat HInata and Sugawara in the side with 2 seats since and to Oikawa's luck sit his right beside ‘handsome boy’ and his friend. So much for luck being on his side.

During the ride Oikawa could sense the nervousness from Iwaizumi, although that may have been because of Iwaizumis ranting to Kageyama. During this he had also learned of Kageyama's name, still he never knew the name of ‘handsome boy’.

/////

“How was sitting next to handsome boy?” Sugawara asked as he teased the boy who was currently feeling slightly better. ‘Handsome boy’ had yet to mention the mishap earlier, not even when Kageyama brung it up, so maybe it was true and he had forgotten. Although it felt as if he had also failed to impress Iwaizumi and this made Oikawa slightly mad and disappointed.

He would be leaving soon, and would most likely never see this boy again.

“Fine I guess.” To be honest Oikawa was worrying the whole time that his newfound crush may have mentioned the truth that came out earlier that day, but to his relief it hadn’t. The friends kept trying to get more details out of Oikawa, it was proving to be difficult.

Meanwhile Kageyama and Iwaizumi were also having the same exact teasing session, with Kageyama making fun of Iwaizumi for being such a ‘baby’ when sitting next to the boy he was pretty smitten with earlier on that day.

“The park is closing soon, we better get going now before we get trapped.” Iwaizumi simply stated to put an end to his friends teasing.

“Fine. But I’m not forgetting about this anytime soon.” Kageyama began running towards the gift shop. “I’m buying one of those hoodies first though.” Iwaizumi started walking towards the gift shop, slightly brushing against Oikawa in the process. He didn’t want to buy anything because to him everything was overpriced and never got used once they left so he gave Kageyama time to get what he wanted instead of chasing right after him. Plus there was something else he needed to do.

Somehow despite this action from Iwaizumi, Oikawa remained calm. His friends saw, they didn’t understand how their friend was not freaking out, perhaps he never noticed?

In reality Oikawa was too down in the dumps after pondering on the fact he had failed to impress Iwaizumi. He never knew what he was expecting to happen though. Maybe he would get his number or convince the other to start a conversation, which by extent could create room for a friendship or even more.

Oikawa had never failed to get anybody he wanted, he knew he was pretty which only prompted his earlier confidence in his plan. To him there was no chance of it failing but now he has only been proved wrong. He wasn’t as desired as he originally thought, that's depressing.

“Oikawa, are you coming to the giftshop?” Sugawara called out, grabbing Oikawa's attention.

“No sorry, I'll end up spending way too much money again, my bank account can’t handle that.” Oikawa reasoned, causing Sugawara to laugh a little.

“Okay, meet you by the park exit then?” Sugawara gave a little wave. Hinata was already gone, presumably in the giftshop. The boy did love hoodies afterall, and the park had many different ones. Plus Hinata actually wore them, unlike Oikawa who bought them then threw them into the back of his wardrobe to be forgotten.

/////

“I can’t believe I failed to get that hot guy's number.”

Sugawara had figured out how Oikawa’s moods went:

Frustration, usually aimed at himself.
Sadness, sometimes more so than others.
Whiny, this part was the worst.
Back to normal.

Currently Oikawa is in the 3rd stage. If they were being honest, both friends had blocked Oikawa's whines out and were just replying with an ‘ok’ or a nod. They were both tired after a long day and didn’t feel the need to waste the last of their energy on Oikawa's mood. Not that they were bad friends but they knew it wasn;t that serious and would blow over by the end of the taxi trip.

They were right. By the time the taxi dropped Oikawa off at his house, which was the first house they reached, Oikawa’s mood had perked right back up and he was more so talking about how fun his day had been.

Once reaching home Oikawa firstly planned to get changed into his nightwear, making sure to empty his pockets before throwing his clothes into the washer he noticed something that he was sure wasn’t there before.

A note? He quickly unfolded the small piece of paper and read it. It was a number?

Oikawa was used to people giving him their numbers but never without him knowing they had. The note was signed.

‘-Iwa’

Who was Iwa? Whoever it was, Oikawa saved their number. He will text Sugawara and Hinata about it tomorrow. Maybe even text ‘Iwa’. Who knows?

“I’ll save your number as Iwa…” He paused. “Iwa-chan. I’ll save your number as Iwa-chan.”

“I wonder who you may be? Iwa-chan.”

Notes:

Sorry that this story is a little slow at the beginning but I wanted it to be as realistic as possible and I feel like that wouldn’t be achievable if Oikawa had seen Iwaizumi and begun his plan during the first half of the day since theme parks are busy places.

If you have never picked up on this before, the theme park in this fic is inspired by both ‘Blackpool Pleasure Beach’ and ‘Flamingo Land’ since they are the closest to where I live and the ones I have visited the most frequently.
