Just a Jurassic World/BNHA crossover that has been floating around my head for too long.

Notes:

This is my first work and i’m really hoping you all enjoy it!! This will be told from Kirishima and Toga’s POV because why not. I will update weekly (I hope).

Chapter 1: The Arrival of the News

Chapter Text

“Urgh, I hate Wednesdays! Double science, maths and no hero training!” Denki Kaminari, the human pikachu, complained.
“I know, dude. But it’s Mexican food in the cafeteria. So, y’know, I’m happy.” Hanta Sero, a black-haired, Mexican immigrant, responded. Ejirou Kirishima grinned and looked at his phone, reading through texts from his girlfriend, Mina Ashido.

“You’re blushing, Shitty hair. Stop texting your girlfriend and focus. We don’t wanna miss our stop.” Katsuki Bakugo, an explosively tempered, blond-haired boy, grumbled. Ejirou grinned even more at his best mate’s remark and stuffed his phone into his blazer pocket.
“Aw, c’mon Bakubro! Just because you can’t confess to your crush doesn’t mean you make fun of our successful crushes!” Kaminari laughed.
“Shut your mouth you double A idiot!” Bakugo snarled. Ejirou grabbed his friend’s shirt to stop him charging at the others.
“Woah there. Calm down Bakugo, Kaminari was only joking, weren’t you?” He soothed, regaining the peace. The two boys retreated and smooth seas were sighted once more.

As the bus pulled up to their stop, the boys carefully made their way to the front of the bus, chattering away about their evenings. Kaminari suddenly announced the presence of Ashido by screaming ‘HERE COMES THE BRIDE!’ at the top of his lungs. He and Sero, who had been best friends since primary, began singing the Bridal March as Ashido ran eagerly into his arms. Bakugo smirked, his ruby-red eyes flickering over to a green-haired member of their class. Izuku Midoriya, whose hair made him look like a bush and was rather prone to excessive crying, had been Bakugo’s childhood best friend, middle school enemy and now high school rival. Crush had sneaked in somewhere around from
middle school enemy.

Ashido gave him a good morning kiss and butterflies woke up in his stomach. Ejirou kissed back and then, hand-in-hand, the two high school sweethearts walked into school.

It was complete pandemonium in the classroom, like usual. Shoto Todoroki, a boy with heterochromia and bi-coloured hair, was somehow sleeping through Kyoka Jirou singing Rewrite the Stars. Kaminari ran over to his boyfriend, Hitoshi Shinso, and kissed him. Sero sat down at his desk and gazed at his crush, who happened to be Shoto Todoroki, whilst Bakugo thumped down in his seat and began furiously scribbling on a piece of paper like his life depended on it.

Ashido pecked him on the cheek and ran off to her best friend, Ochaco Uraraka. Uraraka was dating the class president, Tenya Iida. Iida came from a wealthy hero family and had engines in his calves. Ejirou wandered over to his best mate, Bakugo. Partly because they were best mates and partly because he wanted to know why he was scribbling so eagerly.

Just then, Midoriya walked in, said hello and tripped over his shoelace. Bakugo’s reaction speed was rival to Hawks’. He caught the greenette and steadied him.
“Stupid nerd. Tie your freakin’ shoes or you’re break even more bones!” Bakugo growled, crouching down to tie Midoriya’s shoes. No one seemed to notice; Bakugo was always being aggressively nice to Midoriya.
“Thank..thank you Kacchan. I’m sorry, I’ll try to remember next time.” Midoriya apologised, a blush coating his freckled cheeks.
“Tch. Just do better. Can’t be a hero if you’re trippin’ over your laces, Deku.” Bakugo replied, storming back to his desk.
“So still ‘just a stupid crush’, my bro?” Ejirou teased, bumping shoulders.
“Shaddup Sharks.”

Ejirou chucked.
“Alright you little shits, sit in your seats.” Shota Aizawa, AKA pro hero Eraserhead and adoptive father to Shinso and a little girl they rescued called Eri, walked into his classroom and to his desk. Aizawa was their teacher at UA and held a stack of papers underneath his left arm. This was unusual, so everyone immediately sat in their correct seats and Yao-Momo, vice-president of the class, woke up Todoroki. Ejirou sat to attention, anticipating the news, good or bad. Aizawa walked to the front of the class
“I assume from your unexpected obedience, you have noticed the stack of papers I hold in my arms.” Aizawa-sensei observed.
“Yessir!” The class chorused, hoping that it wasn’t a quiz.
“These are forms for your parents/guardians to fill out. They are for a trip to Isla Nublar.”

This declaration was met with yells and shouts of ecstasy. Isla Nublar was home to Jurassic World, where quirks, science and DNA came together to recreate a once-extinct species: dinosaurs. Kōhei, Ejirou’s little brother, would be so jealous. Kōhei was a walking dinosaur Wikipedia page, utterly obsessed by them.
“How much does it cost?”
“When do we go?”
“How soon do our letters be needed to be handed in?”
“Will we see the dinosaurs up close?”
“How long is the flight?”
“Can I pay for all of us with my father’s credit card?”

The last question belonged to Todoroki, who was on very bad terms with his father, the number one hero: Endevour. Everyone got a little chuckle out of that.
“It costs you nothing, we leave in two days so ideally the letters should be handed in tomorrow, you can certainly see the dinosaurs up close, the flight is 22 hours and no, Todoroki, you may not.” Aizawa-sensei answered.
“Dammit.” Todoroki grumbled.

Aizawa handed out the sheets and Ejirou eagerly accepted. He was going to Isla Nublar! He heard they even had a meglodon. Sharks had always fascinated him; he always begged his mom to take him to the aquariums just to see them. Now he had the chance to see a real meg!

“SHUT UP!” Aizawa bellowed as the excited babble rose. Silence fell everywhere. “Good. Now, onto science.” Multiple groans filled the class but Ejirou’s spirits were too high to be darkened by a lesson.

The rest of the day passed in a blur and before he knew it, he was holding Ashido’s hand and walking through the park. Both of them were chattering eagerly about the news.
“Bet Kōhei’s gonna be jealous, eh?” Ashido beamed.
“Yeah, I know. Poor guy; he’s wanted to go for so long.”
“Oh! You could take some pictures for him. I can’t believe it’s all free of charge too! Uraraka was relieved cause she was scared she want gonna be able to come.” His girlfriend reported. “Ooh, swings! Can you push me?”
“Of course! C’mon!” He replied as both of them raced over. Ashido sat on the swing and Ejirou began pushing her.

“Do you wanna come to mine for dinner, Sharky?” Ashido asked.
“If I’m welcome.” He replied.
“What kind of silly answer is that? You’re always welcome!”
“Oh, alright then!” Ejirou beamed. “Gimme a sec. I gotta text my mum to let her know.” He fished out his phone and opened Messenger.

<3birthgiver<3

when are you coming home, sweetie?

Ashido invited me 4 dinner

same question.

i dunno
8?

ok, see you then sweetheart. Xx

bye mamma xx

Ejirou continued pushing Ashido for a few minutes before switching positions.
“Oh…we forgot to ask Aizawa sensei how long the trip will be!” Ashido realised, smacking her forehead.
“Don’t do that.” Ejirou sighed. “And I expect it’ll be about a week. Should be on the sheets, I guess.”
“Oh yeah. Will your mums give you permission?”
“I reckon so. Haru went there once, so I should do.” He replied. Haru Kirishima was his older sister and a lawyer.

Ashido’s phone began ringing. She answered, cutting off Jolly Holiday.
“Heya mama. Yeah I’ll be back soon.” Pause. “Can Kirishima come over?” Pause. “Okie, thanks mama.” Pause. “Love you too.”

She smiled her pure smile as they walked out of the park. Ashido’s hand was slightly calloused from her Acid quirk but she used hand creams to make them
softer. The overall effect was very nice and one of the reasons why he loved holding her hands. In the seething sun, her pink skin seemed to glow and her black and yellow eyes reflected the sunset.

“What?” She giggled.
“I was just thinking how lucky I am to have girlfriend as beautiful as you.” Ejirou complimented, giving her hand a kiss. She beamed.
“And how lucky I am to have a boyfriend as sweet as you!” She kissed him gently and everything was perfect.
