Summary
A collection of vignettes that tell my two D&D characters' backstories, all named after songs on my characters' playlists. I wrote this for my coplayers, but I'm compiling it here for easy access. It's a combination of enemies to lovers, lovers to enemies, and a lot of gay shenanigans mixed up in a lot of trauma. I changed some canon lore, fleshed out other parts of it, and made it my own. It takes place in the D&D Feywild, but I took a lot of liberties with it, so keep that in mind.
Evelyn, an abandoned changeling noblewoman, gets courted by an Archfey by the name of Nasmeani. She believes that she has finally found a handsome prince to take her away from her horrible life on the Prime Material plane, but - as is always true with the fae - nothing is quite as it seems.
Turroc, a drow warlock, has served his master for fifty years, and he does not see any other life ahead of him. He believes that he has found his calling, but behind a taciturn exterior is eighty years of pain and a desire for freedom.
The unlikely pair grow together, inexorably changing each other as they discover and navigate through the horrors that lurk within the Fey Court.
