Summary
Unlike most others, Juniper didn't believe in monsters...just creatures. When other kids would kill or torture bugs she would pick them up and return them outside to find their families...just like she hoped to do one day.
It was never easy to look different, as a child Juniper found solace in a few green-skinned friends until they suddenly vanished without a word.
Now a teen, Juniper struggles to make rent, study, and hold down a decent job. One night while running errands, she is snatched from an alleyway by several masked ninjas who take her back to the foot clan headquarters to steal her mutated blood.
Splinter gets word that they have a captive mutant and sends his sons on a vital mission: to shut down the lab and retrieve the mutant whose blood could give away the secret of their existence and abilities.
