Luffy’s Live Performance
Disclaimer: I do not own One Piece nor did I write, recorded, or performed “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”. One piece and its characters are written by ODA and the song is written, recorded, and performed by U2. Also, this idea came to me from the amazing YouTube video by “Deathlord22289” called “One Piece – “Still haven’t found what I’m looking for – AMV”. The Straw Hat Pirates were going to a concert of an amazing singer who was brand new; they went with different disguises so that way no one would recognize them. All of them were there, except for Luffy, because according to him he had an engagement. This made all of the Straw hats nervous because their captain wasn’t around and probably causing trouble. They arrive a few minutes before the concert and order a few drinks. Then a man slowly appears with an electric guitar. He had straight black hair that was uncovered, black eyes, a small scar under his left eye, and a large smile. He wore black pants and a black flowing shirt with buttons and a white tie... He also had a black belt on with a small green knife. In less than a minute, Robin was the first to recognize who this strange person was.
“It’s Luffy!” She exclaimed to the group. The crew was amazed to see their captain in a different outfit with a guitar.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, are you ready to rock?” Luffy yelled, and the audience responded with a loud resounding “YES!”
“We are known as the One Journey Band. This first song is not only dedicated to the different journeys we have faced but also to the people who made those adventures memorable and unforgettable. It is also dedicated to a few special people and my older brother. Right let’s begin with “I Still Haven’t found what I’m Looking For,” exclaimed Luffy. He began to play the guitar, strumming the keys with a smile. He then began to sing:

The band ended, and the crowd went crazy, people were screaming because everyone was amazed by this talent. The Straw Hats were also amazed, touched, and a little sad about their captain's loss with his older brother.
“Always journey even though; there will be times of difficulties. You have a family by your side, who love and care for you. Always live a life that you do not regret anything.” Luffy said with a smile on his face. A few hours later the concert ended, and the Straw Hats went to their ship, waiting for their captain. Luffy arrived with a relieved smile on his face, happy that the concert was a success.
“So did you enjoy the concert?” He asked and the crew nodded and started telling him how amazing his performance was. They also kept asking when he learned how to play the guitar and why did he not tell them.
“I learned how to play the guitar when I was younger, Ace taught me, and we were part of a band in our village. The reason why is because no one asked,” Luffy exclaimed. “That song was Ace’s favorite, and I now know the reason. It’s not about the destination, don’t get me wrong I want to get the One Piece to be free, but it is also about the journey, and like Ace, I still haven’t found what I’m looking for. The crew was amazed and touched, they instantly hugged their small strong captain and then continued on their journey.

A small side note… I have been debating about doing part 2 of this song with this version from Sing 2. I was thinking of maybe having Luffy sing it with Kurozumi Tama singing the female lead and Luffy having Ace’s guitar. Just let me know what you all think about that.
