"Moondae hyung, have you ever dated?"
His brows immediately drew together after hearing that question. Park Moondae side eyed the guy who just asked that nonsense question.
Cha Eugene only shrugged at him. "Hehe, just curious, hyung! You know, Chungwoo hyung and Keun Sejin hyung said they had done it back then. So I'm wondering whether you too have experience in that field," he explained in his messy Korean.
They're sitting together inside their van with their manager, who is currently driving. The reason why it's only the two of them is because the two of them were both invited to guest on a talk show. And now they're on their way back to the dorm.
Cha Eugene noticed how Park Moondae opened his mouth and closed it again. The slight crease in his brows also didn't go unnoticed by Cha Eugene's gaze. The red-haired man held back a grin.
From his point of view, the answer to his question is so obvious. But he wants to see how his hyung comes up with an answer. Honestly, understanding Park Moondae's expression has never been a challenge for Cha Eugene.
There were a lot of times where he could easily tell what was going on inside Park Moondae's head or why he was making that kind of expression. It's just that he's enjoying it so much that he always acts oblivious in front of others.
"Oh my gosh! Don't tell me, hyung, you never?!" Cha Eugene prompted. Even exaggerating his expression by covering his mouth and looking really shocked.
Park Moondae was startled by Cha Eugene's reaction, so the words hastily came out of his mouth.
"I-I did!" He clenched his fist tight after stuttering. He just hopes that the manager is not paying attention to their conversation.
Cha Eugene observed how flushed his hyung's ears and neck were. While his face is trying so hard to keep his poker face.
'Oh my! You're so cute, hyung! You're not so good at lying on this stuff!' Cha Eugene claimed in his head.
Park Moondae tried to clear his voice before speaking again. "Dating... They were common in high school up to senior high. O-Of course, I dated a few people back then. I guess everyone does," he added the last words to make it more general and not just himself.
In fact, he has never tried dating anyone before. Even back when he was still living as Ryu Gunwoo. He never finds the time for it and finds it meaningless. Well, that was Ryu Gunwoo. Who knows, maybe the original Park Moondae dates back then? But even he knows that it's impossible.
'White lies never hurt anyone.' Park Moondae comforted himself.
Cha Eugene, who had been holding back his laughter since earlier, failed and burst out laughing. Tears even formed on the corner of his eyes as he let out a full-power laugh. Whenever he was trying to compose himself, he would see Park Moondae's confused and pissed-off face, and he would start laughing again.
"What. Speak, Eugene," Park Moondae even used a commanding tone, which made him giggle again.
Until he couldn't control himself, he actually sprung forward and enveloped his hyung's head in his arms. Park Moondae scowled when Cha Eugene buried his face in his head.
'This bastard is messing with my hair just because we're done with the shooting.'
But that thought never crossed Cha Eugene's mind. He just couldn't control himself and has to hold on until he's composed again. He's reasonable, though; who would be able to resist how adorable this hyung in front of him? No one. So Cha Eugene buried his face again on the other's head until he calmed down.
