It's today. The Glamrock Band is getting a new member, today! Ever since the Mega Pizzaplex was first built, the band was just Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, Ballora and Baby. Then some time later, Callista, Monty and Roxy had joined in, and they've been a nine-member band since. But four months ago, Fazbear Entertainment had announced that the Glamrock Band is getting a tenth member, and they'll be serving as the secondary guitarist to Chica.
Something similar had happened when the Pizzaplex revealed Hyperion Brachiosaurus, the new riding animatronic. He was recently installed after Funtime Freddy's defeat in the hands of Foxy. Since then, he's been helping both guests and the animatronics with traveling if they can't get there fast enough.
But ever since the announcement three months ago, Fazbear Entertainment has been building a lot of things for the new member. Next to Baby's room, a brand new magenta-colored one is being installed. Meanwhile on the third floor, there's gonna be a new attraction built. Nothing much is revealed about it since it's a surprise, except that it's supposed to be like Just Dance but with VR. Oh and apparently, two dancing partners who are also animatronics will accompany the new member.
Today is the day the new member will finally be shown. Everyone couldn't wait for who it will be. They're all in Parts & Service right now, the protective cylinder's windows covered up for the reveal.
"Who do you think they'll be?", Happy Frog wondered. "A girl or a boy?"
"Who knows?", Ballora shrugged. "Could be neither."
"Neither?", Monty asked her.
"It's called non-binary", Roxy explained. "It's when someone legally doesn't belong as neither male nor female."
"Or maybe", said Erwin. "they can be both. It's called being intersex."
"That really happens?", the gator asked again.
"Yeah", answered Bonnie. "Not meaning to be rude but shouldn't you know? You're gay after all. Not that-that's mean or anything. I'm just saying. I'm sorry if it is."
"No it isn't", Monty responded. This somewhat calmed down the purple rabbit.
"Hello? It's Monty you're talking to", Ravena remarked.
"Hey!", the gator called out in annoyance.
"Now now everyone let us continue discussing on what our new friend will be", Freddy consoled his friends. He's standing next to Callista, Gregory, and Vanessa, who's carrying the now one-year-old Esperanza.
"You're right, you're right", Erwin agreed. He turned towards the other Exclusitronics. "What do you guys think?"
"Perhaps art they be a marionette such as I", flaunted Puppet dramatically.
"You always think it's another marionette", snarked Ravena. "Can't you think of anything else?"
"Very well then. Perhaps a puppet?"
"Seriously?", Jackson exclaimed. Meanwhile, Diego muttered something that Foxy thinks was, "Egomaniac." Ironically, he snarked.
"Personally", Foxy cut in. "I believe they might be 'nother canine like meself and Roxy." His pirate crew, the Red Foxes, stood near him, with Vixen, Jack and Mangle the ones closest to him and Petey perched on his left shoulder as usual. They all muttered in agreement at his statement.
"Well we won't know 'til they come out of the cylinder", Zoey pointed out.
"Zoey's correct", Callista said. "We'll just have to wait and see."
Moments passed and everyone continued to discuss on who the tenth member will be. Freddy, Callista, Gregory, Vanessa and Esperanza all hung together, chatting with one another and anyone else with them. From what Foxy can hear with his fox ears, they're discussing on Vanessa filling in the adoption forms in order to make it seem that she's the one adopting Gregory and Esperanza. Not wanting to invade their conversation, he got to talking with his crew.
"So what be the lot of ye thinkin'?", he asked them.
"Perhaps it be 'nother loba like yer hermana?", Vixen suggested.
"(squawk!) Nay! They be a parrot or maybe a macaw", Petey cut in.
"Or 'nother fox!", Mangle exclaimed.
"Yar! Perhaps a regular sea dog", said Jack.
"Well whoever they be", Foxy said. "I ain't waitin' to meet 'em."
Just then, HandUnit's voice alerted, "100% completion. Now opening protective cylinder."
Ginaraffe and Zoey gasped. "They're here, they're here!", they both exclaimed at the same time.
Everyone let out an excited muttering. Foxy felt his hand being grasped by Vixen and he took this moment smile at her, while Petey smirked at the two of them. Foxy gave his best friend a look.
The cylinder then opened up, smoke being emitted due to all the excessive working from the robotic arms. From the light, a silhouette was still for a few moments, then all of a sudden, they twitched to life. The figure moved their head around in seeming confusion, before getting up from the cylinder seat and standing to their feet. Soon, they're no longer covered by the glare of the cylinder light, but are now basking fully in front of everyone.
The newest member is a magenta-colored velociraptor, with a body that's half-lanky and half-muscular. Their belly is a rosy pink while their claws are a bright blue. They have a raven-black mullet hairstyle, with a single bright purple forelock. Meanwhile, they have mismatching eyes, their right eye a bright yellow and their left eye purple. Both of their upper arms have feathers in the colors of white, yellow, purple and black while their long tail has the same colored feathers on the tip. At their wrists and just beneath their tail feathers, bracelets with small spikes are decorated. On their right shoulder, they're wearing a yellow shoulder pad and a purple one on their left. On the left side of their head, a yellow diamond earring hangs while a purple one hangs on the right. A golden nose ring hangs on their right nostril. As for their leg warmers, they are a bright yellow color with black almond-shaped stripes like a wasp's. Beneath their leg warmers, purple straps wrap around their thighs and down to their feet. On the right side of their face a small white triangle is painted on top of a small yellow one while on the left side, a small purple triangle sits above a small black one. Beneath their lower jaw and on their chin, stripes in the colors of white, yellow, purple and black are painted. Last but not least, sitting at the top of their head, bright blue shades with two points on the endpieces. Their shades shined in the light.
The velociraptor yawned upon first stepping out, fiddling with their sunglasses afterwards. Their tail swished back and forth, the feathers flitting as it moved side to side. They flexed their fingers, their sharp claws glinting in the light. They flipped their hair, the mullet moving in a way almost exactly like how Foxy flips it. Instantly, he became impressed.
Freddy then stepped forward and calmly introduced himself. "Hello new friend. I am Freddy Fazbear but you may address me as Freddy. What is your name?"
"My name?", the velociraptor spoke. Their voice is a gentle feminine voice. Female? Or that just be their voice?, Foxy wondered.
Then the velociraptor gave a glinting smile. "The name's Raptor. Everest Raptor." They placed their sunglasses onto their snout. "Pleasure to meet you, Freddy."
"We're so glad to have you here with us", Callista greeted them warmly.
"Are you a boy, girl, neither or both?!", Happy Frog asked excitedly. Everyone turned to her worriedly at her enthusiasm. And that be why we invited ye to 'ere last!, Foxy remarked in his thoughts.
But fortunately, the velociraptor, Everest, only chuckled and replied, "Neither. I'm non-binary." Then they raised up one of their arms and lifted their tail, showing their multicolored feathers. "See these colors? White, yellow, purple and black are the colors of the non-binary flag. Helps indicate the gender I am." They drooped them down again. "But don't worry 'bout it. I can just tell you that I go by they/them pronouns."
"Ooh that's cool!", Bonnie exclaimed.
"And can you please introduce them to me?", Everest remarked.
"Oh yes of course", Freddy said. He stepped to the side. He first pointed out his family. "This is my wife, Callista Gryphon, our son and daughter, Gregory and Esperanza, our children's guardian whenever we are not around, Vanessa." Gregory shyly waved to Everest, who smiled and waved back.
"These are my friends." He pointed out the Glamrock Band first. "The Glamrock Band. . . "
"Chica." The white chicken waved.
"My best friend, Bonnie." The purple rabbit waved and gave them a sign-of-the-horns.
"Our favorite pirate, Foxy and his pirate crew, the Red Foxes." Foxy lifted his hook, gave them a smile, flipped his hair and said, "Yar!" Meanwhile, the rest of his pirate crew posed and 'yarred' along too. Was that very friendly, or not friendly enough?, he thought. Did we come on too strong?.
"Roxanne "Roxy" Wolf." The gray wolf exclaimed happily.
"Montgomery "Monty" Gator." The green gator tilted his sunglasses.
"Ballora." The blue ballerina did a twirl.
"And Circus Baby, but call her Baby." The red clown made a heart with her fingers.
Then Freddy moved on to the Exclusitronics. "The Exclusitronics. . . "
"Erwin Aardwolf." The yellow aardwolf nodded his head to them.
"Ravena Bat." The gray bat flared her wings.
"Jackson Snake." The blue snake flicked his tongue and crossed his arms.
"Diego Peacock." The green peacock lifted up his feathery train and struck a pose.
"Zoey Gazelle." The pink gazelle waved cheerily.
"And Puppet." The marionette flaunted and posed.
After them, Freddy introduced Everest to the Southpop Mediocre Melodies. "The Southpops. . .
"Happy Frog." The green frog curtsied adorably.
"Pigpatch." The pink pig waved.
"Orville Elephant." The orange elephant bowed gentlemanly and waved his cape.
"Mr. Hippo." The purple hippo did the same but without the cape thing.
"And Ginaraffe." The yellow giraffe grinned like the Chesire Cat and waved happily.
Finally, he moved to the now two Daycare Attendants alongside Ballora. "And the other two Daycare Attendants. . . "
"Sun." He waved cheerily and tilted his head.
"And Moon." He only waved calmly.
"Nice to meet y'all", greeted Everest.
"Oh and I should mention, The Storyteller DJ Music Man and Hyperion "Hyper" Brachiosaurus, but they are far too large to enter here and The Storyteller has children to attend to", Freddy added. "However, we can meet them when we arrive upstairs."
Just then, HandUnit suddenly blurted out, "Glamrock Band, please proceed to the Main Performance Stage."
"Welp, that's our cue", said Roxy. The entire Glamrock Band immediately went and grabbed their instruments from the staff members around, everyone playing some tunes a little.
That's when one staff member tossed Everest an awesome-looking electric guitar. The guitar is a striking bright yellow and has an epic warlock design with the top left and bottom right corners being black, while the top right and bottom left corners are white. At the center of it, two purple lightning bolts sit on either side of the strings.
Chica gasped. "That's your guitar?! I am so jealous!"
"Well there's no need to be", Everest said coolly. They strummed their guitar, riffing on it with their very best. "All of our instruments are rockin' awesome!"
"Ha! I like you already!", Monty exclaimed.
"Aye! I agree!", Foxy called out. He pressed some keys on his keytar. For his instrument, it's a jet black color with golden claw marks, and differently designed so the neck would be on his hook-which is on his right hand-so things won't look awkward and weird in his opinion.
"Well, we must make our way up now", reminded Freddy after he struck a few poses with his mic. "Our guests are waiting."
"Lead the way", Everest said determinedly.
