MingYi and Shi QingXuan sat down on a different table as Hua Cheng and Xie Lian.
The reason was always simple, more space for food for MingYi.
They just placed themselves around the table as a story teller began to talk: "My dearest listener, I prepared a little game for you, who will dare, might win big."
A lot of interested eyes looked up to him. And a some brave raised their hand to partake.
"Well well, I see you are all quite exited. Then I shall entrust you the conditions. First you need to partake as two, second you must know eachother for sometime. You will be served eight plates of food. The challenge is or may not to end them. It depends. Feed your partner as much as they can take, because this is about sating your partners hunger and appetite.?"
"Oh Ming-Xiong, why don't we partake?"
"Mn." He knew the next thing Shi QingXuan would say was 'you get free food, so please?'. Also there was no way any food could sate his hunger. It was his mental health's problem after all.
Overall three couples fulfilled the conditions and could partake. During their participation their food on the table would be untouched and the couples would move to the area in front of the store.
"Well then please decide on who will eat and who will feed."
Shi QingXuan and He Xuan would never argue about that. So Shi QingXuan picked up the chopsticks.
"Don't you dare to go slow, or with small bites only." Ming Yi murred so that no one else could hear.
"Yes yes." Shi QingXuan picked a two slices of chicken meat and a peanut.
But since feeding He Xuan wasn't something they had done before, as soon the tip of the chopsticks touched Ming Yi's lips, only the small peanut remained and made it's way into Ming Yi's mouth.
He choked on it.
"Ming-Xiong, what's wrong?"
"Too much!!!" he yelped and tried to hit his chest to get air.
Shi QingXuan was utterly speechless. How could Ming Yi have "too much"???
"Oh what an rare event to happen, are you perhaps not expecting the love of your partner or was the love just an overkill hohoho?" the story master laughed heartly.
Ming Yi looked with a bewildered stare at Shi QingXuan.
"What do you mean 'Love', old man?", he asked coldly and quiet. The story master didn't hear him as his attention was somewhere else.
So his eyes set on Shi QingXuan.
"Of course, I love you, you're my best friend."
"More than your brother?", he needed to ask, or rather couldn't withstand the urge.
"I don't know, because he's my family and I don't love him in that kind of way. Family is not supposed to stick to us forever..."
"You mean you would...?", he interrupted him, his words catching faster on than his mind.
"Yes, because there's no one like you for me," the other one chuckled.
"Even if I would be the one who killed your brother?" The inner He Xuan thought for a moment Shi QingXuan would laugh it off and calling him weird, but no Shi QingXuan kept quiet for a while and then answered in all seriousness:
"I'm sure, you 'd had your reasons, like he brutally murdered your whole family or such."
"Wouldn't you hate me for that?"
"I ... I would...," he looked at him, "not... I can't bring myself to hate you for anything. Maybe I would resent you, but it wouldn't run as deep as hate."
"What if I wasn't, what I seem to be, what if I'm not Ming Yi, the earth master"
"Whatever you're called, whatever being you are, it doesn't matter. It wouldn't change the fact, that it's you for me. I don't care... if you ... I don't know would be a ghost or a even a dead fish."
"So it's that kind of love?, he saw at Shi QingXuan.
It would be an understandment to call it a faint shade of pink, when in fact his whole face burned.
"I x@fhfh s" he mumbled.
If He Xuan's face wouldn't been build of stone, it would be at a complete speechless loss. In his dead body something unknown spread, it felt like trinking boiling water, but not that unpleasant.
"You're naiv to the groundless ocean." he finally managed.
"Oi oi, Ming-Xiong, Gongzi or whatever, I just confessed, can't you be a bit more understanding?"
He laughed arkwardly. They got interupted by the game master: "I see, you lost the game... Or should I say you secretly won first place? hohoho" Are you Pei Ming or what, Shi QingXuan thought to himself.
They went back to their origial table and sat down. He Xuan just stared intensely at the food, but his stomach was full, sealed by half a peanut (because the rest he had choked up).
He haven't felt this since he was dead and when he was not he forgot how it felt.
Sorry
But to whom he did not know, for what he did not know. He just felt sorry.
"...-xiong?" he looked up into these esmerald eyes.
"Why... are you crying?"
