You were pissed.
Apparently, your job decided to have you work the kost stupidest things for the past three days. Non stop working.
it was a daily thing right?
you were wrong.
so very wrong.
stacks and stacks of files, your boss on your ass 24/7 screaming at you that something was not done right, yet it was. it just wasn’t done in their mindset of how it was supposed to be to them (shit boss)
everyone kept asking you to do this and do that, you were tired. so very tired you grew irritated.
walking up your apartment stairs, you fumbled with your keys. Shoving it into the keyhole a couple of times. due to the lack of sleep and irritation. your brows furrowed in anger, sneering as you finally got the door open.
you swung the door open, rubbing your eyes with your free hand as you walked in.
walking in, you slammed the door a bit to aggressively behind yourself. making someone jump up from your couch.
a little yelp was heard before they spun around on the couch.
those lovely blue eyes staring at you. it melted your heart.
Leon.
his floppy pale, golden ears flicks upwards seeing you. he smiled brightly hopping off the chair to you in excitement.
yet immediately as he drew closer to you he can feel your irritation. it scared him.
his ears went back as he stood there.
scared to make a wrong move. his tail stopped wagging, it almost, halfway went between his legs
he wanted to speak, yet waited for a little.
you had a bad day at work. and he could tell. he wanted to make it better
he didn’t want to upset you more, so he walked slowly to you. being very cautious of your state
“A-are you okay…?” he asked softly, his voice trying the best not to crack as he reached his hand out to you
you knitted your brows a bit, before softening your face at him.
you felt bad now, seeing how your puppy was upset.
“yes..it’s just a long day at work. again”
Leon nodded walking up to you.
his tail thumped on the floor softly. he was happy you were home.
“well, your here now…right?” he said softly, reaching out for your hand.
your fingers intertwined. his cheeks went red, his tail wagging more now.
your face lightened a bit. looking up at him, you have him a soft smile which made his heart race.
linking his arms around your waist he ,dipped his head down low to your neck. inhaling your scent
you couldn’t help but just relax in his arms. raising a hand up to his hair and ruffling it. He made you day, you couldn’t help but feel better now
he let out a little giggle. it warmed your heart.
everyday coming home. you came home to him, it warmed your heart to see him so happy with you.
he was your home.
the one you could come to, whenever things were down. he was there for you.
and you were there for him.
you always were, he did his best to please you.
and you loved his efforts
your melted into his embrace, feeling his arms tighten around you.
you were home.
at last.
