Work Text:

Not long ago, two warrior sisters commanded the kingdom of Inazuma, and it blossomed into affluence and success, making the nation appear bigger than the rest.

Unfortunately, the fight between Watatsumi and Narukami broke out, and the kind warrior was murdered by a devastating hit from a well-known archer in the area. However, when the ferocious one saw what had happened to her other half, she erupted in a passion that culminated in the mass killing of the said region.

The strong warrior annihilated the adversaries with her quick reactions and counter-attack skills. She eventually won the fight and protected Narukami Island from conflict. She returned to the location where she had lost her sister and took her home. Massive amounts of blood are gushing from her other half's body. People were screaming and cheering at her, telling her how pleased they were of her. Without even knowing it, the kind warrior was killed in combat.

The furious warrior roared her lungs out in response to the people's sounds. Her rage, bitterness, and complaints are emanating from within.

She knelt until the sun was replaced by rain, which joined the tears falling from her beautiful purple eyes.

The pink-haired lightning-wielding individual from the crowds spotted her sobbing and became confused as to what was going on until she noticed the blood flowing down.

The following morning, the fierce warrior disappeared like a mist. She is nowhere to be found and has permanently left Narukami Island. So, where is she now that her other half has died? As if she can handle business and national concerns as well as her sister

Three years had gone since the great war, and everyone appeared to have moved on from that traumatic incident in their life. Yae Miko, the Hakushin Clan's electro-power wielding, is another new one in charge of the island.

One of the twin warriors placed everything in the hands of Saiguu in case things went wrong. But she also didn't want to get involved in political activities, so she gave the title to a relative who is capable of doing something like this.

Yae Miko exudes confidence when dealing with other individuals. She would simply do anything came to her, but of course, they were all worthwhile. Miko developed into a lovely young lady with a towering frame. Her combat talents, on the other hand, are extremely smooth and effective.

Miko took a step back to land a single blow on her friend's five wooden head constructions. The electro-energy cut the skulls, and they all fell to the ground.

"That's perfect, Miko!" Ganyu clapped her hands, amazed by the impressive work of her friend. Perhaps Miko is blessed to learn the popular techniques of the Geo wielder from Liyue, who is the master of Ganyu. "Thanks! I want to shoot my electro energy to the heart part of the wooden heads; can I do that?" The cryowielder only nodded her head; she can always recreate them again by using the words inside her head.

Ganyu proceeded to replicate the events once more, this time utilizing her method and making a loud cacophony in the backdrop. Miko drinks the water on the table near them to quench her thirst and relax her. The island's leader is astounded by her friend's ability to rebuild the damaged wooden heads as if they were fresh new. "It's already done! Let me just place it here." Ganyu began to move about her inventions with her hands, which can move items even when she's far away.

Miko took a step toward the middle while closing her eyes once she completed arranging it. As her veins protrude, she gains magical abilities. The scene then darkens, with purple tones in the background. "If I succeed, I'll treat you to a meal and a free trip to Liyue," Miko remarked before flicking her fingers away, allowing a big quantity of energy to flow out of her back.

Miko opened her eyes and discovered she had totally dismantled the wooden heads—not just the hole in their left chest, but the entire structure. Ganyu couldn't believe what she had just witnessed; it was both terrifying and beautiful. "What? I didn't mean to crush it like this." She examines her right hand and its fingers, which have gone red and, in some cases, black.

"I thought I was going to die back there! It was so good."

"I'm going to tell this to my relatives; I can't believe this."

The pink-haired woman jumped around the area, smiling with her teeth and cute fangs showing. Ganyu rolled her eyes and resumed her customary process of re-creating the wooden heads. Miko has grown significantly stronger since gaining the highest position on Narukami Island, after their previous combat left Ganyu with minor scratches that several residents from Liyue instantly cured.

"I think the show is over; I saw everything, Miko; you've grown stronger these days." Saiguu abruptly emerged out from the forest's trees and began clapping her hands while laughing. Yae Miko has grown into an untouchable woman, and her family members are overjoyed that they have given the holy position to the correct person. "Saiguu? You're here? How long?" Miko rubbed her brow and stood erect until Saiguu embraced her tightly.

Every second, Miko's fingers got numb and pained, leading her to scream until she dropped to her knees. Ganyu instantly constructed a frozen bandage and put it over her fingers. "I can't move it because it hurts so much. Ouch!" Miko's fingers froze in relief at her friend's method.

Miko proceeded to shake her right hand, despite Saiguu's warnings to stop since things may grow worse. They immediately fled the woodland, the helpless, pink-haired girl making a great deal of noise due to her pain.

When they arrived in the city, lovely individuals greeted her with large grins on their lips. Miko was obliged to wave her right hand, then immediately put it down, till she inadvertently ran into another young woman dressed in a gorgeous purple kimono. She was ready to apologize when the mystery woman abruptly left the area.

That little bumping recollection hadn't left her mind until it had been bothering her for five days. She felt a massive, violent lightning bolt strike her soul when they touched. Miko isn't sure why, but a part of her is curious about that mysterious woman.

Miko went to the forest again to do a solid practice every morning. This time, the metal heads are there, so she wouldn't break them into pieces. But who knows? Maybe her powers would go insane once more.

There was also a large sign from the city earlier announcing a competition today for people who wield various elements. Miko, of course, would not back down, so she completed a form and signed it under her name.

"Focus, focus, focus!" The island's leader switched off the metal and continued to pound it with the energies emanating from her fingertips. Suddenly, a katana appears in her path, and if it strikes her, she may die. Miko turned around to check if anybody was staring at her as the katana dropped on the ground. She couldn't help but accept the blade with a purple thing flaring from it. It was so heavy that she couldn't raise it properly when she took it. "Is someone there? Show yourself! Are you trying to assassinate me?" Miko grabbed the katana as she kept her gaze fixed on the surroundings.

She watched and waited till no one emerged from the trees. Miko had no option but to leave and continue with the event as if nothing had occurred.

Everyone was already lined up when she arrived, including the purple-haired girl who looked so familiar. They made direct eye contact, and the unknown woman's gaze was drawn to the katana she was carrying. "All right, Lady Yae and this beautiful lady right here will fight," Miko turned her head to the guy who was announcing as he pointed out his fingers to the other side, only to see that the purple-haired woman was her opponent.

The mysterious woman didn't even look at her and straight up went to the center. Miko also walked towards the center as the people inside started to cheer her. Miko has always trusted her abilities, so there's no turning back now.

The bell rang as the woman in front of Miko formed a katana with lightning energy from her chest.
When they witnessed it with their own eyes, the crowds erupted. Miko kept staring at the lady until she ran up to her, but the purple-haired woman forced her slip on the ground. "Stand, the fight has only just begun," Miko rolled her eyes and rising from her rage at the insolent lady. "Shut up! Don't get too full of yourself." Miko holds the katana and also creates electro-energy to make it more strong.

Swordsmanship is not her favorite activity, but she knows how to deliver a powerful blow. Miko then moved in closer, always blocking the unknown woman's assaults.

She's so quick; how am I going to end this fight?

Miko took a step back before unintentionally grabbing the woman's waist and tackling her to the ground. "Please surrender now." The purple-haired lady smacked her head against Miko, causing her to get disoriented and fall to the ground while an unknown woman stood up. The speaker began to count, but Miko suddenly sprang up and smacked the woman's sides blankly.

But the strange lady didn't hesitate; she moved her hand to strike her opponent's katana, but it just struck Miko's sharp end. "Pathetic," she murmured, striking her repeatedly while remembering that this was merely a competition and she shouldn't allow anyone get a scratch. Miko attempted to grab her again on the ground, but she always failed. Miko became terrified as the lady abruptly shoved her and knocked her sword to the ground. She was afraid she'd strike her heart and die.

"You're not backing down, are you?" The purple-haired girl's vivid purple eyes glance at her with such intensity. Miko's attention is drawn to the woman's face. "I won't back down; shut up!" Miko rolled her over and brought her katana closer to her throat. However, the lady was faster and shoved her, causing the katana to fly away on the opposite side.

When Miko rose up again, the lady used a martial arts move to kick her shoulders. She collapsed to the ground at that very moment, her eyes closing quickly. The speaker began counting again until it was completed, and Miko is still not standing.

"We got a winner between the fight!" The announcer screamed and went to the center to put the purple-haired girl's hand up.

She looks at the pink-haired person lying on the ground, eyes closed. Miko was knocked out by the kick that surprised her.

The young mysterious woman received her price and then left right away when the subordinates of the girl named Miko went inside to aid and carry her.

Later that day, Miko woke up from her bed, and her shoulders started to hurt. Saiguu noticed her moving and immediately told her not to.

She still can't believe she lost the match and the competition. Miko felt she was powerful enough to handle another opponent, but she was easily flung to the ground. "The woman kicked me from the fight earlier, and it was so bad that I ended up like this," Miko rolled her eyes and shifted her weight to the opposite side.

Miko has no idea why horrible things have been coming and going in her life for the past five days. "Did you see her leave the place? I want to ask her for a rematch." She tightened her hand and punched it on the bed as she reflected on her humiliating defeat. Saiguu sighed and chuckled for a moment. After all, who knows Miko has a competitive nature?

"I bet you'll be hospitalized if you ever ask for a rematch," Saiguu said, pointing to her shoulders and making a scenario with her hands about how things would go wrong the next time. "I didn't see her because I wasn't there; you should ask your subordinates," Saiguu said as she rose from her chair and exited the room, not even waiting for Miko's second response.

Disappointment is bolting through her different organs, and she hates the fact that the people inside the place from earlier witnessed her loss. How could she stand tall in front of them knowing that she got knocked out?

At the end, Miko just shrugged off the thought of asking for a rematch. Saiguu is right; maybe she will be hospitalized sooner or later. The moves of that mysterious woman were too fast and smooth, but Miko still managed to tackle the unknown woman on the ground despite her rapid and slick maneuvers. Maybe she was simply holding herself back. "Whatever! As if I'm going to see her again." Miko rolled her eyes as she pushed herself to get out of bed and stroll outdoors.

She walks further into the woods, wanting to practice again despite her current vulnerability. Miko experimented with making an electric light appear from her palms to see if it would work. Then there's a rustling sound, like footsteps all over the place. "I just hope my fingers don't swell," Miko said as she blew on her crimson fingertips. Perhaps she is too feeble to handle the strength she acquired from the Hakushin Clan.

She then went straight home to relax. Once again, Saiguu is correct; she should not force herself to move.

That very identical idea, like the bump thought from a week ago, never left her head. Miko is perplexed as to why she is becoming so preoccupied with seeing that mystery lady. She shouldn't be this interested in her since she's nothing and nothing at the same time. As though she cares for Miko, despite the fact that they had just recently met.

The katana fell on the city's enchanted flowery bridge again while strolling on it at night. Miko was taken aback and almost yelled when she saw it, especially because there were no people in the background who could assist her figure out who threw it. "Who did that?" Her eyes became brilliant purple as a fox-like spirit of herself appeared out of nowhere.

"Are you trying to kill me with the intention of throwing your katana at me?"

Two guys, clearly from Watatsumi, were shoved over in front of Miko without warning. "Help us, we're going to die." The second man attempted to build a pyro dice but was snatched away from nowhere by an unknown electric force.

A lady in a purple kimono appeared, her eyes gleaming and thrilling. Miko opened her eyes and braced herself for battle. If looks could kill, she may have died right now. "You were the one I fought the other time; are you perhaps here to make a rematch?" she sarcastically joked as her inner abilities prepared to manifest.

The beautiful lady didn't say anything and just moved past her like nothing happened. Miko didn't know that the man behind her was planning to stab her with a cursed knife.
But the lady saw him right away and screamed at Miko. "Avoid the attack!"

"Ei, how dare you!"

Miko followed Ei's warning and dodged the fatal attacks. The purple-haired woman decapitated the man in an instant with her left hand. Then more individuals appear, most of them are presumably from Watatsumi as well.

Ei, the girl, clicked her tongue and dashed towards the other adversaries. Miko is becoming perplexed—why are there Watatsumi soldiers here? Three years ago, the great war finished, and everyone felt they were free.

When the attacks began, Miko had to use her electroshield to protect herself. Her fox spirit followed her about; perhaps if she unleashed its strength, she might annihilate the enemies?

Miko shook her head and performed what her brain instructed. While Ei was fighting the enemies, she began to feel a scorching force emanating from within her as she concentrated on her thoughts.

Ei strangled the two guys in her path as she concentrated on her skill. "You can help me, you know," she remarked as she crushed the two men's necks, but Miko is still not through with the procedure.

Some dragon arrived, implanted with Hydro, and is prowling around the city. Ei noticed it but dismissed it because she has so many things on her plate right now. As the fox spirit approached the other foes, Miko flipped her two fingers. She dashed towards Ei to save her, and kicked the person holding an imbued pyro in his hands.

Her heart stopped as she was almost hit by the enemy's big anemo. If it hadn't been for Miko's skills, she could have perished there. The fox spirit grew enormous and began to assault the others.

"I see, the fierce warrior of Narukami Island has returned, and she has returned with a style!" The lady with white hair unveiled herself and cheered. She was the one who started the battle between Narukami and Watatsumi, which culminated in her sister's death. Signora indoctrinated the people's minds with artificial intelligence, resulting in a cursed power. "You're the murderer of my sister!" Ei slashes the man's throat before clenching her fist in front of Signora.

"I didn't murder your sister, Raiden Ei. My subordinates did, not me." Signora walks forward towards them as Miko gets in front of Ei. "Oh? So you've got yourself a friend now? Don't listen to her, Yae Miko, for she is a threat in this nation." Miko got shocked when she realized that this tall lady knew her name.

Ei felt powerless at the time, partly because she was hearing her sister's death over and over in her head, like a horrible catastrophe. Signora delivered a freezing blow without notice, but Miko defended her with the fox spirit. But Ei forced herself to move, and the katana's electro-energy escaped from her chest. "Amuse me then!" Signora screamed and her arms became cryo-infused, fully prepared for the combat between them.

With a sudden shock of moves, Raiden Ei strikes a finishing blow already. Miko didn't even get to see them fight; this girl just straight-up killed her.

Miko is so surprised that this moment might actually kill her. She just witnessed this with her own eyes. Signora's body vanished like a mist, gone from this world.

Her eyes were visibly angry as she glanced at Ei, and she wanted to cry. Miko had no option but to keep gazing at her since there was nothing she could do; they were too far apart to hug. But, because she had already heard the whole narrative, she wanted to at least console Ei. She ran her palm over Ei's face, wiping away the tears that were falling from her eyes. However, she just walked away with her fist clenched, leaving the katana on the ground.

"Remove all of the threats." That was the only thing Ei said before disappearing in a flash. Miko was confused, but when she looked at her surroundings, the dead bodies also disappeared.

Miko also left the location trembling and unable to sleep well for the following week.

That's correct. Miko has been disturbed by what occurred that night for a week.

She wanted to meet Raiden Ei again, if only to chat about the troubles. Miko also wanted to console her, despite the fact that she still dislikes her due of the competition. So, very juvenile of her.

Miko returned to the wilderness to hone her technique. Perhaps it's wishful thinking for her to see Ei and her flying katana land closer to her. She made a shaky motion with her head. She will never see her again after what occurred.

The pink-haired girl immediately left the place when she finished practicing her everyday technique. She made her way to the woods, admiring the mystical trees with the flying birds around them.

Miko didn't know that Ei was there, and Ei also didn't know that she was there. With a quick step back, they both bumped into each other's steps.

Ei assumed it was just some random person, so she brought her katana closer to Miko's throat, not realizing it was her. "Hey, I'm Yae Miko! Don't tell me you don't remember me!" the purple-haired lady rolled her eyes as she moved the katana blade closer to her throat.

"Shut up, or I'll sever your throat!"

While she's looking at Ei on top of her, Miko can't help but admire her beauty. Her extraordinarily seductive appearance had already charmed her, even though she couldn't believe it herself.

"You're so beautiful, Raiden Ei."

Ei's face turned bright crimson, and she averted her sight. She drew her katana and set it down on the ground. Miko then shifted her weight upwards, grasped the purple-haired girl's body, and began to imprison her with her arms. "I don't know, but I've got a crush on you," Miko joked, but it's partly real. She began to interlace her fingers with Ei's. "I think you're just hungry, Yae Miko," she said as she rose from Miko's lap and straightened her purple kimono.

"But let me tell you, whenever I throw the katana closer at you, it's just a warning that there are enemies nearby, and I should protect you."

Notes:

It's now the fourth day of Eimiko Week, and I presented a fantasy concept here. It was quite fun to do, and I wanted to continue it, yet I have no time anymore.
