Lee Felix was the boy Hyunjin had been hopelessly inlove with for the past 3 years.
Hyunjin knew he was whipped the moment the freckled australien introduced himself as ''Lee Yongbok, but i prefer my english name Felix'' in 9th grade when he just moved to Korea. And even though his Korean wasn't the best, he had quickly made many friends.
Not Hyunjin ofcourse. His introverted ass admired him from the other side of the classroom. For 3 years straight.
But ofcourse Hyunjin's staring didnt go unnoticed by his best (and only) friend Jisung.
Even though Jisung was usually as blind as a mole, somehow (though Hyunjin's staring was rather obvious) he had cought on onto his little crush. And ofcourse couldn't let Hyunjin live in peace after finding out.
Jisung's pestering took about 4 months before Hyunjin decided too make a move.
Not by talking to Felix, (what do you think Hyunjin is, crazy? He'd rather jump of a bridge than try to flirt with the other) instead he decided to write love letters and slide them into Felix's locker. How did Hyunjin know where Felix's locker is located? His own is in the same hallway. He totally didn't watch Felix's every move in awe for the past 3 years, what are you talking about?
Ignoring Jisungs commentary about how 'he should suck it up and just go and say hi to Felix', he wrote his first letter during biology. That subject never interested him anyway so time well spent he thought.
It wasnt a long letter, something along lines of
Dear Felix,
I've admired you from afar for a while now,
And I must admit that I've fallen for you.
Fallen for the stars on your cheeks,
I've tried counting them before, I failed, every time.
I hope that maybe someday I'll be able to count them all.
Fallen for your smile.
Your smile can light up an entire room,
maybe even the entire world if you smiled bright enough.
Fallen for your kindness.
Though we haven't had many interactions,
Your kindness will always impress me.
Fallen for you.
Because what is there not to like about you?
Don't blame me for falling, you made it too easy

Call Hyunjin cheesy all you want, he was poetic and inlove. And a hopeless romantic.
Why did he not put his name?
...
Because he wanted to be mysterious?
Yes, because that is a much better reason than admitting that he simply pussied put.
And after secretly sliding the note into Felix's locker when he ''went to the bathroom'', all he had to do was wait. And stay in that exact hallway waiting for Felix to open his locker and find his letter.
Which he did, after Hyunjin had waited there for almost the entire lunch break. But he did!
Hyunjin was hiding behind his own locker, sneakily watching Felix find the letter and folding it open, to say Hyunjin's heart was pounding would be an understatement, it was either going so fast that he couldn't feel his pulse, or he was having a heart attack, he hoped for the first.
He watched Felix carefully read his letter, a small smile tugging on his lips the further he read. God, Hyunjin was whipped.
Once Felix read the entire note, he looked up, looking around the hallway, hoping to find the sender. Hyunjin ofcourse hid behind his locker the second Felix looked up.
Felix put the note in his bag before grabbing his books from his locker and going back to his friends, a smile still on his face.
''Simp'' this is the word that his lovely friend Jisung said, pulling him put of his trance of staring at Felix.
''Fuck off'' he had answered
His second letter was longer, talking about the day he first saw him to the day Felix first talked to him (He bumped into him once, Felix apologized and smiled).
He wrote about a painting he had made of Felix, promising that maybe he'd show him if he got the courage.
He ofcourse signed it -H again, but this time he added a little heart.
Yes, Hyunjin is a simp. He knows, Jisung told him.
This time Hyunjin was *conveniently* walking through the hallway when felix read the letter (he was waiting behind the corner for Felix to arrive). This time Felix's smile was even brighter. It took a while to read as the letter was quite long. Felix didn't seem to mind though, and Hyunjin's stomach did little jumps seeing Felix smiling at his love letters.
He might actually have a chance.
This time he didnt give Jisung the chance to call him a simp, simply cutting him of by saying ''I know'' and reminding him about his own crush he's been pining over for the last months, Minho, but has yet to do anything about. Jisung may give great advice but doesn't follow it himself.
When Hyunjin was about to slip his third note into Felix's locker, talking about how much he admired the other and a bunch of gay panicking, he saw a corner of a piece of paper sticking out of it, saying ''Dear H, please read :)''
Did Hyunjin stand there for a good 10 seconds in shock? Hah, of course he did, he is Hwang Hyunjin after all.
But after he realised that he, infact, is so called 'H' he carefully pulled the piece of paper out and read it's contents.

I'd love to see your painting of me
though I understand you might be too scared to show me
leave it in room 1.27A on Friday?

Hyunjin's heart did a little flip. He held the paper to his chest, calming himself down before grabbing a pen and scribbling on the back of his own letter that the painting will be there, before sliding the note in Felix's locker.
With a giddy smile and a slight jump in his walk, he made his way back to class after his 'toilet break'. Sitting back down next to Jisung whispering a ''mision complete'' and going back to his daily habit of staring at Felix.
He decided to not tell Jisung about Felix's note, since he would force Hyunjin to wait in that room with the painting on Friday. Hyunjin wasn't quite ready to face his crush yet.
Hyunjin once again watched Felix read his letter, he was quite anxious for his reaction this time though. He put some hints in there hinting that he was a boy (hints as in ''I never experienced gay panick untill I saw you'') so he was scared of Felix's reaction. Felix wore a rainbow bracelet on his left wrist, but that doesn't mean he's queer. He could just like rainbows you know?
But to Hyunjin's surprise Felix's smile never faded, he closed the letter and put it in his bag like he did with the others and closed his locker again, walking to his friends.
Looks like Felix or does not care, or simply doesn't know what gay means.
Hyunjin wrote his fourth letter, it was shorter than his previous two. It talked a bit about the painting, since it was Friday today. Hyunjin would leave the painting in the classroom by the end of the day. He didn't know how he would get it back, not that he cared, Felix can have it if he wanted too.
Hyunjin excused himself again for yet another toilet break, leaving the room with the note in his backpocket. He walked to Felix's locker and slid the note in, no notes from Felix were sticking out this time, so Hyunjin turned around again, walking back to his math class.
When he turned the corner he had hid behind not-so-long-ago, his eyes met with those of the boy he had been writing his love letters too.
Felix, being as kind as he always is, gave Hyunjin one of those smiles he daydreamed of. If there was a guinness world record for fastest blushing mess, Hyunjin would hold that record. He smiled back shyly before continuing to walk trying to calm himself down.
What Hyunjin didn't know though, is that this time Felix had been the one to hide behind the corner when he saw his classmate who went on his 'toilet break' sliding a note in his locker. Felix had thanked his urge to pee for allowing him to discover who the person behind the cute notes was.
Hyunjin came back into class and sat next to Jisung. Jisung knew Felix probably saw him, since Felix only left about 10 seconds after Hyunjin had. But guessing by the fact that Hyunjin hadn't mentioned anything, he decided to let him find out for himself.
School ended quick enough, Felix always went to his locker when school ended so Hyunjin waisted no time going to room 1.27A and placing his painting of Felix there along with a tiny sticky note that said
*I'd like to paint you again, paintdate?*
Hyunjin? Flirting? He is surprised he wrote that down too.
Hyunjin was out of that room as quick as he had entered it.
Passing Felix in the hallways, he looked down and made his way out of the school territory.

Next Monday Hyunjin kept an eye out for Felix, he was at his locker, not smiling.
Hyunjin wondered if it was because he hadn't left another note.
During lunchbreak Hyunjin was busy writing another love letter for Felix. He was sitting against the school building outside, alone since Jisung was 'sick', ''sick my ass'' Hyunjin thought, the new playstation came out today, he knew Jisung was camping some random store so he could get one.
He had almost finished his letter when a deep voice he knew all too well interrupted him mid-sentence
''Hyunjin, right?''
Lee Felix.
Hyunjin looked up, and there he was, the man he was writing a love letter for right this moment.
''Yes?'' Hyunjin answered shy. Why was the man he was deeply inlove with talking to him?
''Are you writing another letter?'' Felix asked, smiling brightly, he totally knows what he's doing.
Hyunjin just looked at him, shocked.
Felix chuckles ''Will you actually give it to me instead of leaving them in my locker if i said yes to that paintdate?''
And Hyunjin swears he's never smiled so bright before.
