Prunella Potter, unlike other people, did not receive her soul mark from birth.
Her mother was greatly disappointed by this, as was her father. Her parents were never proud of her, unlike her brothers, even if she was more successful than them.
Mother always loved only Fleamont and Charlus, not her, and always made faces when she saw her. Well, it was not her mother's fault that she was born a complete copy of her and not her father, like all Potters.
It probably annoyed her that the Heiress of the main branch of the Potters, unlike her, was born like her and not like her father. Her mother, in marriage and nee Potter, was a distant relative of her father and the last Potter from a side branch.
Prunella received her soul mark on her seventh birthday. She was very happy about this, she almost jumped for joy. But no one congratulated her.
Fleamont and Charlus did not show much interest in learning. Flimont was only interested in Potions and Charlus was an artificer. Their parents encouraged this and gave them valuable books from the family library.
She was also interested in martial magic.
With much persuasion, Prunella was able to persuade her to teach her combat magic even before Hogwarts. My father was the head of the Auror, so he was a very strong fighter.
When the letter arrived to Flimont from Hogwarts, his parents gave him a lot of gifts and gave him a lot of congratulations.
When a letter came to her, no one congratulated her and did not give gifts. In general, no one ever gave her gifts.
When the letter arrived to Charlus, the same thing happened to Flimont.
Prunella tried to be better than her brothers, more successful, to surpass them, to prove that she deserves more.
She didn't know which brother she hated more. They both teased and laughed and taunted her.
But when Fleamont proved to be better than her at Potions and saw the grin in his eyes, she still understood who she hated more.
Flimont and Charlus, unlike her, have already met their soul mates. They were Euphemia Trevors and Dorea Black.
Euphemia and Dorea were a year younger than her and were in Slytherin. It is ironic that Slytherin haters Fleamont and Charlus have kindred spirits belong to the Serpentine House.
Perhaps it was amusing to watch them cooing with them.
Transfiguration Professor Dumbledore, of whom she was a favorite student, suggested that she get a job at Aurorat.
"Prunella my girl, I think you'd better become an Auror. Your father is in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, you have excellent grades and you're the head girl of the school. You will be the perfect Auror."
Prunella Potter passed almost all the subjects with "Excellent" with the exception of Astrology and the History of Magic, in which she barely received "Satisfied" and entered the Auror Academy.
After graduating from the Aurora Academy, she immediately began to participate in the War. more than once she single-handedly caught the subordinates of the Dark Lord Gellert Grindelwald and saved dozens of people and played a big role in the destruction and capture of members of the Grindelwald organization. For this, in the eyes of people, she became a real heroine and a respected person.
She finally became better than her brothers.
When on April 25, 1945, Professor Dumbledore fought the Dark Lord and won, everyone was able to breathe easy. After the war, she went to France for four years.
When she arrived back, her brothers were already married and now Euphemia Trevors and Dorea Black proudly bore the surname Potter.
The brothers, of course, invited her to the holidays at the Manor so as not to anger their wives. Prunella didn't come, of course.
Dorea and Euphemia tried to talk to her at random meetings, but she immediately transgressed.
Years pass. Some dark wizard kills his father, Dorea and Charlus had a son whose name was Leon and that day they arranged a luxurious ball at which everyone was (the only time when she did not reject the invitation) and Flimont and Euphemia could not have a child.
“Looks like brother, you and your wife won’t be able to have a baby.” Prunella chuckled.
"Don't you dare say that!" Flimont shouted furiously at her.
Prunella said nothing but looked at him mockingly.
The next morning she received a letter from Flimont that she would have a nephew.
Her nephew was named James. She saw him only on his seventeenth birthday.
On James' seventeenth birthday, the servants (slave) of the new Dark Lord, the Death Eaters in the middle of the street attack Dorea, Charlus and Leon. They were buried on the same day.
Time goes by. James marries Muggle-born Lily Evans, joins the Order of the Phoenix, which opposes the Death Eaters led by Dumbledore.
Prunella has long realized that her soul mate is a Death Eater. This was the only reason why she did not participate in the war.
Having heard the Prophecy about the Hero who will defeat Voldemort from the lips of James, she immediately realized what her nephew and his wife were idiots this would remain a mystery to Prunella for the rest of her life.
When on the day of Samhain her mark disappears and the Dark Lord is announced to have disappeared, Prunella laughed historically.
