– Jiseok, it's time!
A combination of sounds told Jiseok what time it was.
The scissors snipping.
The razor lightly hitting the sink.
The excitement on Jungsu's voice.
Jiseok gulped, caressing his own moustache for the last time. He was so dramatic, and he would not deny that. His body was stiff as a way to tell how against that he was, but he would do it anyways. It was the deal.
A silly deal they made together. Jiseok loved to see how their facial hair grew together, in sync. Jungsu, on the other hand, hated how fast their moustaches were back on their faces. Jiseok loved the look, on himself and on Jungsu, and even more on both of them, together. Jungsu hated how itchy it was, annoyed by the feeling on his upper lip.
They just had to find a way. Jiseok tried to keep his moustache alone, while Jungsu would shave his own. The idea was great for a day or two, but it quickly became unhappy. It was not exactly what Jiseok liked about their lip adornment.
Sure, he thought it looked good, he felt handsome, manly, charming. But he liked it more when Jungsu had it too. He liked the feeling of growing it together, the slight competition of which one grows faster, the funny way they tickled each other's noses and intertwined when they kissed. Having it all alone was lonely.
"Two months hairy, two months shaved. That's my offer", Jiseok proudly stated his idea to Jungsu, on a cozy night, while touching the skin above Jungsu's pink lips. "Alright, just because you're cute", Jungsu accepted with a chuckle, after thinking for a bunch of seconds.
A silly, yet meaningful deal.
And it was time. Jungsu couldn't wait any longer, his moustache was already gone. He missed that empty space on his face, and he missed it on Jiseok too.
– If you don't come to the bathroom, I will take the bathroom to you. - Jungsu teased, but it was true.
Jiseok stayed right where he was, he decided to make it fun and a bit extra. The chair was comfortable too, he would add.
It didn't took three minutes until he could hear Jungsu's slippers lightly hitting the ground behind him, his hands placing all the needed tools on the close desk.
Jiseok watched it all with theatrical drama. The scissors, the razor, the shaving cream, even a hand mirror. The towel placed on his chest and the facial lotion were Jungsu's delicate touch.
– You know I'm just doing this because it was your idea. - Jungsu caressed Jiseok's face lovingly. – If you'd like to keep it, it's okay. Just tell me, I won't force you to do anything.
– Hey, no. - Jiseok calmed his acting down. – You kept yours for two months just for me! And it's not a big of a deal. I'm just playing.
Even if Jiseok thought it was super cool, it was truly not a big of a deal. Keeping his promise was. Doing things together was. Reciprocating Jungsu's actions was a much bigger of a deal.
They shared big, warm smiles when Jiseok leaned his head back, being able to see Jungsu like that. His vision was upside down from the position, but he still could tell Jungsu's eye smile was the sweetest.
Jungsu reaches for the scissors and starts his work. Jiseok can only feel ticklish hair falling around his face, his eyes closed peacefully. The scene was simple, still filled with truth and care.
Next, the shaving cream was on and the razor was soon to come. The scent of the cream was nice to Jiseok's nose, which made his smile but Jungsu quickly, yet gently scolded him, worried about harming his soft skin. Jungsu would take every step carefully and tenderly, making Jiseok feel the luckiest.
The quiet razor sound was almost loud in the silent room, enough to send shivers of anticipation down Jiseok's spine. Jungsu's hand had a steadiness covered with love, making sure everything was done attentively.
It doesn't take long until a warm towel presses Jiseok's face lightly, cleaning up the shaved hair and the remaining cream above his lips, making the space ready for the soothing post-shave lotion.
As it was delicately placed on his skin, Jiseok opens his eyes to find a focused Jungsu, his lips pouting a little from the concentration.
– I could debut my free lips right now. - Jiseok suggested with a smirk.
Jungsu snorted, his previous pout growing bigger and sulkier, in disbelief that the lotion reached Jiseok's upper lip when he talked. Not a big deal, but no perfect either.
– You... - his pout turning into a defeated smile. – Just a peck, alright? Don't wanna taste lotion.
Jiseok chuckled before taking Jungsu closer by the back of his neck, surprising him at first, but soon comfortable again. Their lips touched in a light, soft kiss. Not too short, nor too long. Just right and cozy. Surprisingly enjoyable for the slightly weird position. "Almost like Spider-Man", Jiseok thought for a second.
– Just because you're cute. - Jungsu repeated a past conversation, his hands pinching both Jiseok's cheeks as he took a step back.
Jiseok grabbed the hand mirror from the desk, taking a look at himself and Jungsu, who was bending to his sitting height.
– We look good. - Jiseok touched the recently shaved skin on his face, smiling. – Thanks. You're the best barber, ever.
Jungsu just chuckled, sniffing Jiseok's neck teasingly. He, too, felt the luckiest.
