“I will take you to the movie theater,” Sung-Eun said, more as a statement of fact.
Dae-Ho hesitated: he liked the concept, however…
“You are currently unemployed,” he uttered softly, “I don’t think this would be a good idea-”
“Well, then we can sneak in. Does this work better for you?” she interjected abruptly, her determination showing that she would not let anyone else take control.
“Okay… What movie will we watch then?” Dae-Ho asked after a brief pause.
“I don’t know. I don’t really care. I just wanted to give it a try since we are dating anyway. Do you have any suggestions?”
“Not really,” he admitted, a hint of embarrassment on his face. “I haven’t been keeping an eye on film releases.”
“Gosh, it’s hard to date when we are older; we don’t know what couples do nowadays.” She sighed deeply, her gaze drifting elsewhere. It seemed she was starting to reconsider this whole idea of dating, which made her new boyfriend a bit anxious.
“Maybe we should stick to the classics then? How about a dinner?” Dae-Ho suggested hastily, his face brightening as he saw agreement in the coach’s eyes.
“You cook, I drink,” Choi Sung-Eun directed.
“Agreed.”
