Alastors unhealthy obsession

Summary:

You fell down to Hell and Alastor takes a liking to the "entertainment" you provide. You want to escape.

Notes:

I'm bad at summaries. Tell me if I missed a tag, I tend to do that. I tried my best to keep the reader gender neutral so everyone can read, sorry if I missed a spot.

Work Text:

The fall down was long, the red sky startled you first and then the realization that you were falling. Fast. You hit the ground. Hard. Pain spreads all around your body, the next thing to startle you in a car coming right at you. Your panic filled mind flings you somewhere to the left towards the sidewalk and the car whizzes by. You look up, the streets are lined with.... creatures? Some looking at you with all eight of their eyes filled with annoyance. You panic even more, your mind racing with all types of thoughts, the most prominent being 'where am I?'. A quick glance up and you see a helpful sign, "Welcom to Hell". Hell? Hell!? Sure you made mistakes, but Hell? Surely it was a mistake. You were nice, mostly. But in your defense, some don't deserve kindness. You looked around, still panicked and decided you need answers, and most stores have people in there. You try and find a store, but most places are selling either drugs, sex, alcohol, or weapons. You go in a bar, you've been to a couple bars when you were alive so surely it can't be that different. More creatures with glowing eyes look your way, guess they can see a newcomer when they see one. No one looked happy, besides the wasted ones, and nobody looked the slightest bit friendly. You tap the shoulder of a person and they growl and turn around.

"Hell do you want?" A fight you can't win may happen so being nice was the only chance of survival against this lizard like thing? Demon may be the right word. Yeah. Lizard demon.

"Sorry to bother you, but I just got here and I have some questions." Lizard man laughed and gave a smirk.

"With that attitude you'll be dead by dawn, watch the news I ain't a Hell guide." With that he turned away back to drinking. You left, the bar clearly won't help. The next option was to take his advice, find a news paper, back home near, never in, trashcans newspapers gathered. You look down and sure enough papers everywhere. From months ago to now. Captions ranging from, "Overlord takes over the south side of Hell" to "Up and coming pornstar found dead. What will her loyal fans get off to now?". You pick up a few and find a sticky bench to read on. You catch yourself up on news. Still, it didn't calm your nerves. How could you live in a place like this? Yes the living world wasn't much better, but at least the bad had some good. Here it's all bad. You go to put your head in your hands and finally get a look at your hands. They weren't like your old hands. New reason to panic, you started looking at yourself all over, taking in all.the changes. This will takes some getting used to. All this panic was tiring, you started walking hoping to find something to help. Anywhere was better than here. You didn't know what you were trying to find, a way out maybe. A house would help to, somewhere to call your own. A motel would do for now, you thought looking at the sign of a dingy motel. You snuck past the drunken receptionist and took a key and found your room. Stealing was okay in this kind of situation you told yourself. Finally alone you collapsed onto the dusty and beat up bed. A radio in the corner and a small bar near it. A drink and some tunes wouldn't be bad, don't know what music is down here, but it doesn't matter. All alone in a unknown place is complete silence was worse than a bad song. You snuck back downstairs, grabbed some snacks and a bottle of your favorite drink and went back. You tuned the radio to a pleasant song, opened the snack bag, and poured yourself a drink. This was better, a little like your familiar routine at home. Turn on the radio, cook dinner and listen to the radio host list off the news and tell some jokes. The great depression hit you and everyone hard. The worst was the local murders. You shuddered, they were horrific, luckily you managed to avoid being murdered. Unlucky you got hut by a stray bullet. The lovely South, am I right? You didn't deserve to die so early. You finished your snacks and undressed to take a shower. You sighed in relaxation as the music flowed from the radio as you scrubbed your unfamiliar body with soup, taking your time in examining every new detail. Drying off and then tucking yourself in you let your overloaded mind relax and rest. In the middle of the night something screeched you awake. Frantic you looked around fearing the worst, you spotted the radio, it was now glowing red and emitting static. Suddenly blood curtailing screams filled your room, along with a static filled voice laughing and the people's death. You cowered in your bed not knowing with to do. You waited it out until the screams stopped and the static voice said, "This broadcast has been brought you by your new overlord!" Then it ended. Overlord? You read about them in the paper. The radio one said new, so he must have got here recently, just like you. They certainly are enjoying it more than you though. You couldn't sleep after that, you sat awake and waited for morning, you needed a job, you couldn't just keep stealing everything, or could you? You were certainly good at it. No time like after death to try something new. Not like being good could get you out of here. You got up out of bed and looked outside, the red sky was dark and so were the streets, dead bodies littered them. You went outside and went up to one, her purse still near her. You reached down and grabbed it, avoiding touching the dead body. Opening the purse you found a wallet with a thick stack of cash, drugs, lip gloss, and a pack of condoms. The purse was untouched by blood and pretty. So you took the whole thing and moved on to the next one. Over the years you followed this routine. The streets darkened and you went out on the hunt. A couple making out in the alley way not paying attention? Free money for the taking. A closed store? Food and money. You even got revenge on the Rafio Demon for waking you up that one day. Stole some silver antlers from his private mansion. They went nicely on your wall. The best days were after an extermination. The exterminators never took anything from the bodies so weapons and money galore! You became desensitized by everything and also got a little cocky. Confidence wasn't a bad thing you would tell yourself. Through the years new generations of demons arrived and technologically devolved. You still kept your radio and stayed in the town that refused to change with the time. The 'old' town from your generation was mostly calm and left alone by the overlords. You always left the city when Hells version of the sun starts to rise and you're 'work' was over. The little town had everything you needed, including your home. You would do your nightly routine and flip on the radio, hoping it wouldn't turn to hellish screams thanks to the radio demon, and eat some dinner before bed. Today you had stolen a nice flat screen TV and wanted to test it out to see what all the excitment was about. You used the remote to turn it on and the news was up. The, what you considered, privileged royalty princess was on talking about some hotel. You were about to change the channel before a picture of the hotel showed on screen. Some expensive items showed. You liked the look of fancy picture frames with paintings by famous artist, they would go nice on you're wall. Her clothes also looked nice, you might grab a suit while you were their. Little shopping trip. Well this TV did come in handy, it even gave you the address! Tonight you would head over and get some riches. That night you grabbed a taxi into the big city and stared out the window at the bright lights and sounds of the bars and strip clubs. You tipped your driver with stolen cash and walk to the hotel. The lights still on and you could hear voices. You rolled your eyes and groaned, it's late! Why are they still up? You go duck behind a bush not to far away to wait for the lights to turn off and everyone to be asleep. You doze off waiting are awaking by a loud noise. You look up and a flying ship is over your head, it looks familiar to something to saw on TV, before you could think about who a missile is fired and everything goes dark. The first thing to register in your mind as you were coming to is a high pitched voice. You groan and open your eyes. A little one eye demon is desperately scrubbing the floor like her life depends on it. She quickly notices you awake and in the blink of an eye is on your chest.

"Oh my gosh! You're awake! Let me go get Charlie, she's a lovely lady you'll like her and Vaggie, she may try and kill you though!" With that she's gone. You groan again. You've almost never gotten injured on the job, you've been so careful. Guess no paintings or suit for you. You look around the room, you could still get something small for yourself. A pretty painting of a family hung in front of the bed, the royal family and the lady that was on tv was between a taller man and woman. The door opening startled you turned to see who was entering.

"Hello, it's good to see you're alive. I'm Charlie and this is my girlfriend Vaggie-"

"I'm Niffty!"

"That's our cleaner Niffty. You got hit when Sir Pentious attacked. How are you feeling?"

"I'm good, I don't feel hurt at all." It was odd that you didn't feel much pain, you've healed very fast since you for here, you always thought it was just a being a demon perk.

"Yeah you must heal fast, your injuries look gone. I'm not a doctor though, Al bandaged you-"

"Still don't think he should have been allowed to." Vaggie muttered, Charlie gave her a reassuring and slightly nervous smile.

"I'll bring him back to look at you, just a fair warning he is the Radio Demon, but he's been good so far and Vaggie will be here to protect you." You started sputtering but she was already gone. The Radio Demon? He was here and coming to examine you! You needed to leave, now. You jumped up headed straight for the window. Vaggie seemed to expect this reaction and also support it cause she didn't try and stop you. The window glowed red and stopped moving. You whipped around and came face to face with him.

"Can't have our patient running away, why don't you sit back down." You didn't get a choice, he grabbed you and sat you down. You death glared him and he examined you, picking your head and back, "Marvelous! Perfect recovery!" Cheering noises came from his microphone cane.

"I can leave?" You tentatively said, he looked at you with his eery smile.

"Now now, we saved your life. Don't you think you owe us, thief." When he said thief little red symbols appeared around his body and the static in his voice thickened. Guess you didn't get away with the silver antlers, "Don't worry my dear, I admire your boldness. I'll alleviate this debt to me if you help with the hotel and I get one favor from you. Let's not forget the return of what you stole. Also, no one hears of this deal." You shrunk into the bed and panic filled your mind. One favor? He would make that favor be your downfall. Did you have a choice though? You nodded, not being able to make a sound, "So it's a deal?" Green power flowed from his hand. You pushed his hand away, he glared with his eery smile.

"I agree, but I don't trust that hand. So what's the favor?" He laughed.

"I'll cash that in when I chose, for now, you can help with the advertising we're doing. We need some more lonesome souls. I was thinking a party or a buffet. Something to make this place more lively." He sounded chipper, but it was a facade. You got up and shrugged.

"A party will work, a band to play music and some good food always make for a fun time." He smiled wider and put a arm around your waste and pulled you down to the lobby, you got a nice look at some statues and vases. Not like you could steal with red bean protecting the place like their guard dog. Charlie smiled with she heard your agreement to help, Alastor left out the portion about the 'deal' she gave you a uniform and handed you some flyers to spread around the city, she even gave you a free room for the time being. You're first task was simple so you went around town and stuck posters on walls of business. You went back to the hotel and Charlie gave you your second task, buying food. Easy run to the store and buy food, so you got it done quick. Back at the hotel you saw a new face emerge from the bar, looking extremely hung over. The cat demon barely acknowledged you before grabbing a bottle of cheap alcohol.

"You're new, you wouldn't happen to have some money, I need some... food. I'll make it worth your while." A seductive voice said.

"Hello, I just got here. Who are you?" You gestured to your name tag and then to him, he wasn't in uniform so he probably was a guest.

"You don't know who I am, surprised, I'm a little famous here."

"Sorry, but I live far away. I was saved yesterday by Charlie, the whole attack thing on the hotel. I got hit to."

"Oh yeah! I remember that. I got black out drunk afterwards thanks to the sexy fellow over there, Husk" He pointed to Husk, "You gotta try some of the liquor later. Anyway I'm off to work, got some dick to suck." He waved with on of his four arms and left. You forgot to ask where Charlie was.

"Hello! My dear do I have a task for you. You're going fo help me find a band to play!" You didn't want to spend time with this murderer, he was a psychopath. You questioned why you had to come with, "Well my dear I want a second set of ears, and you stole from me. I want to know more about the bold demon that had the bravery to steal from me of all people."

"If I tell you why, will I not have to come?"

"Maybe." He smiled wider and look intently at you.

"My first day in Hell, way back in 1930, my radio started screaming as you made your appearance in Hell. It woke me up and I wanted revenge." You glared at him, you were still upset. After all you went through that day you deserved a good night's sleep, not hours of blood curdling screams you couldn't turn off.

"That is very interesting! I didn't know you were from my era! You are very entertaining!" He started babbling about how entertaining and exciting it was to meet someone left from his time, he killed most of them off and the alive ones are terrified of him, as they should be. You were terrified of him. You didn't want to find a band with this psycho.

"So I don't have to go with you?"

"Of course you do! You are very entertaining, you have been hiding yourself from me this who time, my bold little demon." It's obvious why you hid, has he seen what he's done? You decided snapping at him wasn't smart, you remember reading an article of him killing people just because, no reason, he was bored. You let him lead you to a band preforming at a bar. The band was playing modern pop music, which Alastor visibly disdained. He left and you followed, "My my this modern music is terrible, simply terrible!" The town you lived in had bands that played music from your time and made music with the same style, you especially liked one singer, a handsome man with a deep and powerful voice, he sung with his jazz band. You always made sure to leave a good tip for the local celebrity. You would tell Alastor, but it would be way more fun to watch him suffer, "You're smirking my dear, what's with the satisfaction? Like seeing me disgusted?"

"Oh no reason." He narrowed his glowing red eyes.

"Oh! I just remembered, that little area you live in, the untouched by time place, you like that one singer. Why don't we pay him a visit and bring him to the hotel." You're smile vanished and it was his turn to smirk. How did he know where you lived? "And you can return my stolen item while we're there!" He laughed and with a snap you were outside the bar and beautiful music flowed through the air. Alastor open the door and everything stopped, and then erupted into chaos as everyone ran away in fear. Alastor grabbed the band before they could leave, "Don't worry my fine friends, I have a proposition for you! You play at the Happy Hotel and you receive payment, sound fair." You nodded at them and they relaxed ever so slightly.

"I guess, if they trust you I guess we will."

"Wonderful! You're music was marvelous from what I've heard and I'm sure everyone will feel the same. Tomorrow at nine! Don't be late." Alastor, satisfied with his work, returned to your side, "Now," he clapped his hands together, "I believe you have something that is mine." You rolled your eyes and led him to your apartment, on the bright side you couod get some of your things. After opening the door you pointed to the wall where his prized antler sculpture made with silver hung. He took them and inspected them before turned to you.

"Before we leave I need to get some of my things, don't touch anything." He didn't touch anything, but he was inspecting everything. You grabbed a suitcase and filled it with all you needed.

"You are very entertaining..." Alastor said as his eyes examined the different objects you had taken from royal families and overlords, "Don't worry my dear, I won't tell a soul." He gestured to a golden staff collecting dust in a corner, "This is something I myself wanted, I saw it on a picture show! Couldn't get my hands on it though. How did you?"

"I don't tell anyone my tricks." He hummed in a knowledgement, if he used that favor it would use it up, you wouldn't mind telling him the truth, you just practiced and planned. No tricks, just hard work, "Unless you use your favor."

"Think you're getting away that easily?" He snickered, "My dear, let's make a deal. You give me this staff and I promise you're favor will not involve battle." You though for a bit, not having to die, again, in battle sounded good. The staff also was just gathering dust, you haven't even touched it since you stole it, you only stole it out of boredom.

"I agree, no shaking though." He smirked and took his antlers and staff.

"Let's return to the hotel and tell of our success, shall we?" He offered his arm to you. You glared and didn't take his offer, he simply laughed and grabbed your arm and your vision clouded with strange symbols and images, then you were in the lobby of the hotel. Your stomach wasn't happy, Alastor was though, he always was when someone suffered. "Why don't you inform Charlie that we got a band, I have some other errands to run." He disappeared to who knows where. You sighed and walked over to the bar tender.

"Do you know where Charlie is?"

"Not a fucking clue." He grumbled. You walked around, exploring and resisting temptation to steal, until you found her.

"Hey, I found a band to preform." She got giddy and thanked you.

"This is great, you are such a help. You've done a good job, you can relax for the rest of the day!"

"Thank you, and do you know a place where I can grab some dinner."

"Ooo, I know a perfect place. I took Vaggie there on our first date. I recommend the alfredo." She smiled her bright smile. Maybe she wasn't the pretentious brat princess, she was pretty nice and she did save you.

"Thank you Charlie. Where is it?"

"It's down the street, past the Irish pup with the strippers, and it's right there!" She gave you the warm smile, that you would never admit gave you a warm feeling inside. You left to go grab dinner. The place was surprisingly cozy, you got a glass of wine and got what Charlie recommended, just to see if it was good. As you sipped your wine waiting for your food a man approached. He looked friendly, well anyone who wasn't actively glaring or drunk looked nice here.

"Hey, you look nice, mind if I get your number?" You lived your generation style, no moble phone you were glued to. You hadn't had a date in a while, there was that party coming up.

"I don't have a phone, sorry, but the hotel not to far away is hosting a party, the Happy Hotel. Why don't you join me there?"

"Sure! When is it"

"Tomorrow at nine. Thank you, you're the most gentleman person I've met down here."

"And you're the nicest person I've met, so right back at you!" He took a seat across from you and smiled, "Not to intrude, but this conversation is going nicely, I'll leave if you ask me to though, also I see a name tag, do you work at that hotel?"

"I just started, I'm still not sure what makes it special, people seem to avoid it."

"You don't know what it does?"

"Not a clue, I just went over there one day and got hit with the blast of the missile and was offered a job."

"Well let me tell you then. The owner, the princess, she's trying to rehabilitate demons so they can go to heaven." You gave a confused look, that's never happened before, and who would volunteer to do that. No one here seems to want to change. And also it brought up the question of why was there a bar and a overlord there.

"That does seem... special."

"Yup, but hey if it works it could stop the exterminations, if enough people do it."

"No one wants to change here." He agreed with you, and the conversation was rich and smooth throughout dinner, you had a good time, so good you didn't realize hot late it got, "Oh He'll, look at the time!" You gasped. He looked surprised to, "And I forgot to even ask your name!" He giggled.

"It's Jerry, and let me walk you back. Don't want someone killing my date to the party." You walked with him to the hotel, and parted ways in the lobby with a hug. Once he left Charlie and Vaggie came up to you.

"Sooo who was that?"

"Well I have to thank you for them, that's Jerry, and I met them at the restaurant you sent me to.

"Charlie, you tell everyone to go there." Vaggie said.

"Well it's a special place, you and I had the best time there." Vaggie hid here smile and blush.

"Well my dear," Alastor appeared behind you, "Seems you made a new friend." He glared at the door like there was still a present person to death glare.

"They'll be at the party tomorrow, so one guest we can assure will be there."

"Make that five," Angel spoke up, "Met five guys and persuaded them to come, and come in a different way!" He laughed at his own joke, Charlie looked disappointed in him, "What? I got us party guests didn't I?" You smiled, he was a funny person.

"I'm going to go to bed. Big day tomorrow." You stretched and yawned before heading up the stairs. Alastor came to your side.

"You are very entertaining-"

"So you've said." You rolled your eyes as he shot you a glare.

"I didn't come here for a attitude my dear, you should smile more! I saw a award winning smile when you left the young man at the door."

"Why are you bothering me about him? Also, I'm smiling because I'm near you." You arrived at your door and shut it in his face. Alastor is such a pain. You wished for his death. Even more when you heard a knock at your door. You grabbed some sleeping clothes from your suitcase, the knocking got louder. You reached your breaking point and swung open the door, "What?" He had a smug smile.

"You never gave me a chance to answer your question! To answer, I want to know what my best entertainment is up to, you are such a precious item to me right now and I couldn't help but notice that the Jerry would take away my time with my entertainment." You were seething by the time he finished.

"I am not an object for you to find amusement out of! You don't own me! You are treating me like a circus animal. Leave me alone you murderer, you are one sick person." You slammed the door in his face and stormed off. He appeared before you in all his red symbols around him and a twisted smile glory. The static that followed him everywhere thickened.

"May I remind you who you owe a favor to? I can make that whatever I please. I can also kill that little friend of yours. Matter of fact-" He disappeared, you knew what he was going to do. You collapsed onto your floor in disbelief, Jerry, that sweet man you only just met was about to die because you couldn't control your temper. Static filled the room once more as Alastor appeared again, "My bold little demon, why do you look so down?" He laughed, "By the way, don't tell a soul or you're dead." and left the room, bloody footsteps following him. You curled up into a ball in bed and let sleep clear your thoughts and worries from your head. The next morning came, which ment seeing Alastor again. You dreaded seeing him, you feared breaking down around him again. He served a reminder of Jerry's death, and so would the party. You sighed and braved getting up and getting ready for the day. You put on your uniform and a brave face and stepped outside your room. Guilt still pooled in your stomach every time you thought of him, it was your fault, partially. It was all Alastors doing you told yourself. You went downstairs and stepped into the staff kitchen and eating area. Charlie and Vaggie already there drinking coffee, they said hello and continued double checking the plans. You grabbed your drink and breakfast and sat down to eat.

"Good morning everyone! Today is the big day so let's see some big smiles!" Alastor bursted into the room. Nobody matched his energy except Charlie. You just glared, all guilt turned into anger, how can act so happy after doing what he did? You ignored him and read the morning paper. Alastor had other plans, "Hello, my dear. Awe, still angry? Let's not ignore me, may I remind you what I can do." He kept his voice down to make sure Charlie and Vaggie wouldn't hear. You sighed,

"No." You grumbled. He nodded, satisfied with your answer. You watch time fly as you cleaned the lobby and hung up decorations for the party. The band arrived early to set up and they practiced a bit, filling the party area with nice music that calmed your nerves. Angel wasn't to fond of the band.

"Why did we go with this grandpa old timey music? I could have sung and danced."

"We're not having you pole dance and sing horny music!" Vaggie yelled. Angel gave her the middle finger and went back to drinking and flirting with the grumpy Husk. Eventually the three of the five men Angel promised came, and then no one else. You sat by yourself of to the side and ate snacks as the band played a few songs until the three men got bored and left to Angels room for their 'reward'. Charlie looked sad but still with the ever present hope in her eyes. Kind of inspiring, she wasn't wrong about being able to change. You've seen people change, for the worst, but they still changed. And you hadn't stolen anything in the days you've been here. Maybe it was possible. You were about to start cleaning up before Alastor approached you.

"Hello my dear, you looked so lonely over here I decided to come and cheer you up!"

"I would have been happy with Jerry here." You gave him a glare.

"Let's not dwell on that, how about you join me in a dance?" He offered you a hand.

"No."

"Very interesting, not even after witnessing first hand power you can still have the bravery of saying no. My my this is entertaining!" He grinned wider and sat himself in the seat next to yours, "I still have that favor dear, the more you deny me the worse your fate gets." He presented to be interested in his nails as you pondered, he had a point, but your fate was going to be bad anyway, it involved him.

"Fine." You grumbled.

"Wonderful! One more song please!" He called to the band, they shrugged and started playing. He pulled you onto the dance floor and took the lead as you followed, you learned to dance a while back and still occasionally do it so you didn't have much trouble. Charlie cheered and pulled Vaggie into a dance too. You didn't have much fun woth Alastor, he was at least it seemed, he was always smiling how could you tell? Seeing Vaggie and Charlie happy together did warm your heart, most happy couple and healthy couple you've ever seen. The song ended and Charlie ran up to you.

"That was amazing! I'm so happy to see you happy, you looked so sad that Jerry didn't come. Thank you Alastor for cheering them up." Alastor smirked and put a arm around your waist and pulled you close, you gave a smile, not because of Alastor, but because of Charlie's concern for you, she really was sweet, Vaggie is one lucky person.

"Yeah, I am disappointed he didn't show, but it doesn't matter to much." Alastor realsed his hold and muttered something under his breath about how interesting and went to pay the band. Angel came back down, his three men leaving, they looked happy Angel must be good. You put away the food and helped the others in the clean up. You were exhausted and head up to your room. Yawning you arrived at your down and were about to open it, a shadow hand appeared on your shoulder with static filling the air and then Alastor manifested, "What do you want now?" Alastor laughed and turned you around to face him.

"My dear, why don't you smile more often, I'm hurt you smile when Charlie shows but not me." He waved a finger at you, "You're never fully dressed without one." You rolled your eyes.

"I have no reason to smile around you, why don't you start being nice? Then maybe I'll consider it." He shrugged and leaned into you.

"You know, I think I know what that favor will be. Just came to give you a fair warning." He walked away. You opened your door and sighed. You should have died when that missile hit, you wouldn't have to deal with him, you wouldn't have to be scared of what Alastor has planned right now if you had. Sure you would have to go to Hell part two or wherever you were headed, but at least Alastor wouldn't be there. You were worried about his plan, would it include torture? Or worse servitude, having to be at the beck and call of that cocky jerk would make you insane. Whatever it is, it seemed like it was coming soon. You tried to clear your mind to sleep, but every terrible scenario plaqued your mind. Maybe you would end up like Niffty or Husk. Husk looked miserable, or maybe he was always like that? Niffty was fine, but still she doesn't seem to have much freedom. Eventually you fell into a uneasy sleep. You woke up still filled with worry. Today was another day with chaotic messes, but not many guests, some drunk people wandering in and vomiting on the floor and people looking for a bathroom. Charlie sat everyone down to discuss a new way to bring in business. You all pondered, but no ideas came to anyone's mind. Until Vaggie spoke up.

"Why don't we participate in a festival? Hand out flyers about how doing good is good." She brought up a good idea, but no festivals were coming up around here.

"If we're trying to spread good feelings, why don't we do good ourselves, hand out care packages to the homeless?" Charlie said with excitement, "We can put papers in there with lessons on kindness and heaven!" Vaggie smiled at her girlfriends excitement and agreed, everyone else agreed to the idea. Time to run more errands, but it felt nice to be helping, even you had to admit. There was a large homeless population so no issues finding those and you were sure they wouldn't mind food and clothes. Charlie's first task for you was to but essentials, toothpaste, toothbrushes, pads and tampons, and some basic medical care things. You ran to the store and grabbed everything you need and then packaged it up for hand out.

"Good work! Now we're just waiting on Vaggie with clothes." You go to the lobby to wait on the couch and continue reading your book. Books were the best entertainment for you, before everyone became obsessed with television and whatever else they're on this generation. Radio talk shows where a close second, sadly those were a bit ruined after Alastor.

"Good choice! I read that one too, one of my favorite authors. Do you read often my dear?" Alastor pushed your book down to be right in your face. What a nosy person. You pushed him so he wasn't two centimeters from your face.

"I do."

"Marvelous! I have a private library in my mansion! I'm sure you already know that my brave thief." You did know that, you had snuck in a window in that library when you stole the expensive decoration.

"I did, impressive collection, but I've seen public libraries with more books." His static went made a small microphone feedback noise before he quickly regained his composure. His pride was important to him, which is why you insulted one of his passions, himself.

"Well, those libraries aren't private or as cozy and well decorated as mine." You shrugged and continued reading. He didn't take well to being ignored, "Tonight I'll be telling you what you have to do." That got your attention, you quickly looked up to see his smug smile. You glared and walked away. It's only been a few days here in this hotel and your life may be over, all because you developed an habit to steal. You blame the people that didn't deserve kindness when you were alive, and Alastor for existing. You became aware of every minute that passesd. Vaggie arrived 20 minutes later with bags of clothes to be packed into the care packages. Together with Charlie, Vaggie, and Niffty you made the packages. Alastor sat off to side doing whatever investors did. If took 90 minutes to finish all the packages. The group took to the streets to find a good spot to set up for the homeless to come and get a care package.

"Hi, we're with the Happy Hotel, would you like a package." The homeless person scanned the group, almost like they were looking for something. In a blink of an eye they ran off with five of the bags. In another blind Vaggie had her weapon out and was chasing them down the street. Charlie called out to her but it was to late for the homeless person. They were probably never foing the hotel, not aftet the scare Vaggie have them, she dud get the packages back though. Charlie scolded her while you handed out packages, making sure to tell everyone that it was from the Happy Hotel and the great things about the Hotel. Always leaving out the Radio Demons involvement. Once all the packages were gone you all went back, exhausted from dogging the dangers of the streets of Hell. Vaggie was always there, you admired her strength, she was kind, but also would clearly fight to the death for Charlie. Angel sat at the bar with Husk drinking, Angel Dust winked at Husk as Husk gave him the finger.

"How'd helping the homeless go?" Angel asked.

"Good, a few incidents, but nothing serious." Charlie grimaced as Vaggie muttered something. Angel laughed.

"I've encountered a few crazy people on the streets, always saying something about drag queens and gay people." Angel rolled his eyes at the memories.

"Hell is full of terrible people, don't let it get to you Angel." You said.

"Thanks, I never do. Just flip em off." He gave four middle fingers, laughed, and took another swig of his drink. Alastor appeared behind you.

"It's time my dear." He whispered. He led you upstairs to his room. His classical colours. A radio on a table, you also spotted the golden staff on display on the wall. Everything neat and clean, "Hope you're as excited as I am."

"Get it over with." You seethe, you'd been dreading this all day.

"You will spend one week at my mansion with me and do as I say, no talk back either." Time seemed to stop as your brain tried to fully grasp and understood the words that just left his mouth, one question came to mind through all the confusion, why?, "Close your mouth dear, you aren't a fish." He took his finger and pushed you jaw up.

"Why?" You sputtered out.

"You're my best entertainment right now, for some reason I've taken a liking to you, why not have my a live in source of entertainment for a week."

"You clearly view me as a object for your amusement..."

"Take it as a complement that I haven't killed you for your actions and words yet." He said. You glared at him, he clearly doesn't view people as people, they're disposable, insignificant, or temporary entertainment for himself. You didn't want to spend a week in a isolated mansion with a serial killer that could kill you in a instant. You made the deal though and if you wanted for extend your after life you would have to keep up your end of the bargain. You sighed,

"When do we leave?"

"Tomorrow morning, pack tonight and I'll wake you in the morning!" His snickering turned to evil laughter as he walked away. You were certainly in for terrible times, maybe even worse than the start of the great depression. You would take starving while being in poverty over whatever he had planned. After he left you started your attempt to sleep, it was a restless night. In the end you got around four hours of sleep and many hours of going through every horrible thing you think he would do. At promptly six in the morning you heard a knock on your door. You were the most tired you've felt in a long time, your eyes felt heavy and the head ache out had was unbearable. Your unsteady legs carried you to your door. You opened your door and looked up at Alastor, his classic eerie smile, he clearly didn't loose any sleep over this, "Morning darling! Excited? I made some breakfast, eat up and then we head out!" He pulled you out your room and lead you downstairs to the breakfast he made, a nice spread of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and orange juice. You filled a plate and ate as he talked animatedly about the possibility of things to do at his mansion. You didn't listen, you knew he was just getting your hopes up, to crush them, "Done? Let's get going doll and I can show you around!" You went and grabbed your bags and met him in the lobby, wishing he would shut his mouth and stop making your headache worse. He pulled you close, your stomach almost forced your breakfast back to the surface as he teleported you to his mansion. You looked around once your body went back to normal. The mansion has his colours incorporated into the design of everything, "Impressed? I personally designed the place." He put his arm around your waist, "I'll show you the library first, I figured you'd be excited to see it when you aren't trying to steal something.

"What exactly are you doing?" You wanted to know why he was being nice, you're in private now, he can drop his act and be the selfish jerk he was out in the open.

"I don't know what you mean dear, I'm simply showing you around."

"You know what I mean, you clearly are planning my worst nightmare, so why are you showing me around and making me breakfast, why the act?"

"Act? This is no act my dear. I wait you comfortable here so you can give me your purist self, which I have found to be my best entertainment." You narrowed your eyes at him, you weren't convinced, this bastard was planing something, "My dear, why do you have such trouble trusting me?" His static thickened, "If I wanted you dead you'd be dead." He laughed it off and pushed you through the large doors to the library. The massive library was indeed impressive, any person from your time would kill to have had this large of a house and be able to be educated and rich enough to read all these books. Let's just say education and books wasn't to most important thing when putting food on the table was hard enough. Your eyes scanned all the titles and authors, some you had already read and collections you had dreamed of finding. You spotted the silver antlers you had stolen and allowed yourself a smile, reminiscing the satisfaction you felt in that moment, "Remembering the fond memory? I remember how I felt the morning after, I was impressed. Someone had stolen from me of all people. I tracked you down to the town and I was about to kill you, but you were too interesting to kill. I watched you instead, happy to see our paths finally officially crossed."

"You stalked me?"

"Stalking is a negative word, I prefer observed."

"It's stalking, I'm not an animal to examine." He laughed at your glare.

"Let me show you the rest of the house." He gestured for you to join him at his side. You rolled your eyes but joined him, you had to do as he said, he once again put his arm around your waist. He showed you the various rooms throughout the house before bringing you to the dining area for lunch, "What would you like for lunch? It's your first day as my guest so I'll let you pick."

"Just something simple, I'm okay with just a sandwich."

"I'll fix up some sandwiches then and a few sides, you're welcome to find something to do in living room until I finish." You take his offer and fins your way to the living room. The coffee table had a radio and a few books on it. Music and reading wouldn't be bad, it would help with distracting you from your current circumstances. You sat down on the couc, tuned the radio to something good and picked a interesting looking book. You got lost in the novel, the characters were getting fully flushed out and you really wanted to see how they would deal with that kids abusive parents, poor kid was really getting the crap kicked out of him alcohol really does something to parents, probably in the next chapter- "You've made yourself at home. The food is ready! I hope you like what I've prepared!" You followed him back to the dining room. The food was spread along the table, your plates on opposite ends of the table, "You haven't been very talkative, what's the matter my dear?" He gave a smirk.

"Just not much to say."

"Mmm, well isn't this food satisfying. I hope you'll be comfortable soon. I want us to get along more. Once you're finished we can sit in the den together. I have a little picture show Charlie recommended to me! Something about two imps falling for each other and the young man gets killed by a Hell hound, she also there's a big twist at the end, isnt that exciting! Oh look at me rambling, where are my manners?"

"I've heard of that movie." Jerry had recommended it to you... no, not the time to deal with those emotions.

"Well then we'll have some fun, talk a bit. I feel as if I know nothing about you."

"What do you want to know." You pushed the food around on your plate, you didn't trust his food. You'd rather starve.

"How'd you end up here?"

"Drunk driver, boring I know." He laughed.

"That is a bit anti climactic. Where did you live before you died."

"Louisiana, same area as you."

"Really? We could've met when we were alive! Oh this is exciting. It's destiny we've met again. To think I passed by you on the streets of beautiful Louisiana and never approached you. I'm sure you heard of my little legacy."

"The murders? Yeah I know, radio talk show host goes insane." He laughed and seemed to remember his fun times killing and living a double life.

"Oh! Those were the days, I had everyone fouled. Did you listen to me?" You sighed, he'd get a kick out of meeting a former fan.

"Yes, I was a fan at the time, before I learned who you really were." He smiled wider with pride.

"I'm flattered, you have good taste. Let's go put on that picture show!" You moved the conversation to the den and you, he refuses to use new technology in his home he only has it to not be called old, put in the dvd. You sat farthest away from his possible on the couch.

"I arrived in Hell shortly, like a couple hours, before you."

"That is an interesting thought, you were there for my spectacular arrival."

"Spectacular is a nice way of putting it."

"Still holding that grudge?"

"I'll always hold it."

"Such a obsessed fan." He smirked at your anger at his tease.

"I hate you." His grin turned sinister.

"Really? Rude thing for someone under my control to say. It seems it hasn't set in that you have to do as I say. Come here."

"What happens if I don't?" Pain shot through your entire body as static filled your ears, so loud and piercing; you felt blood trickle down from your ears.

"Wanna test the waters again dear?" You heaved, you were on the floor now you didn't remember getting there, all you remembered was pain and panic. You touched your ears, blood still was flowing from them. You glared at Alastor who's sat there with a smug grin, he summoned a cloth and crouched down in front of you. You went to snatch the cloth away, "Now now," he waved a finger at you, "do you want to go through that again." You reluctantly let him wipe the blood away and after he lifted you and sat down on the couch while still holding you, "I only find it more amusing when you look at me like that."

"Let me go." You growled.

"You can treat your savior nicer." Did you want to treat him with any amount of respect or kindness? No, but you also didn't want that again, or worse. You glanced at the TV, a wife faces off with a Hell hound.

"May you please put me down." He continued watching the tv, "May you please let me go." You repeated louder.

"No." That smug dick. You wanted to beat him to death, rip his throat out, and rob him blind after.

"Why not?" You seethed.

"Why does anyone do anything? Sheer bordum! This is the most fun time I've had in years! Inspiration is coming to me, I'm building plans in my mind of all the horrors I can commit, just sit still my dear."

"What are you saying? God you're insane."

"I have to type some of these out..." He trailed off and mutter rambled to himself. He carried you through the halls to what you guessed was his office, by the type writer was papers stacked and scattered around and a rotary phone, "You sit down somewhere while I type." You sighed and sat in the chair on the other side of the desk as he scribbled away on a paper. You put your head down, telling yourself you were just resting your eyes. You didn't want to be in that vulnerable of a state near him, your body had other plans considering you were exhausted and you fell asleep with exhaustion pulling you down. You awoke, happy to be one day closer to going home. As soon as you got back to the hotel you were packing your bags and leaving. Your top priority was getting as far away from Alastor as possible once this was over, even if you had leave your little town and go to a whole new ring. You remembered falling asleep at the desk, but you were in a bed, you felt disgusted you had been touched by him in your sleep, you would have preferred the back pain over being violated. You groaned and got up to get ready for another horrible day, you got dressed and sat down on a chair in the corner, hoping to hide in the room as long as possible. Your plan was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Good morning dear! I was beginning to think you were avoiding me or you'd run away. Breakfast is ready, come join me at the table. There are big plans for today!" He rambled on about a surprise he had for you today. You choose to ignore him, you didn't care to know what he had planned, "So once we're done eating we can go, understand?" You nodded despite that you didn't know what he said at all. You followed him to the table, you noticed his plates of food always had a bit of mystery meat on it, the tall red cannible couldn't go one meal without his fix. You ate and then waited for him to lead you where his surprise was, "Ready my dear? The boat should be waiting for us now." Boat? You wished you had listened and not ignored him out of stubbornness. You would have mentioned that you didn't want to be on a boat with him, what if he leaves you stranded? Or dumps you in the water tied to a cinderblock?

"Where exactly are we going?"

"Didn't you hear me? Were exploring the swamp around my mansion! I told you about how I loved feeding the alagotors back when I was alive, they ate everything, down to the bone." He seemed to get lost in thought. He snapped back to reality, "Anyway, the swamps here in Hell have alligator like creatures themselves, don't worry doll I can kill them easily." You weren't fond of swamps, you've seen your fair share of venous snakes, snapping turtles, swarms of mosquitoes, and of course alligators. None of which are friendly faces. Despite prohibition stupid fools would get drunk illegally and wander into swamps and never return.

"Why are we exploring the swamp? Swamps aren't the most exciting of things."

"You will see my dear." Ominous sentence aside, you still weren't very excited. You felt that he had a plan. Either way you would die if you didn't, not that the swamps of Hell or even the living world were safe. Alastor led the way to a dirt path. As you walked you could hear various creatures moving around in the trees, hissing, scratching, and fighting in the forests shadows. You got a glimpse of something that resembled an owl sleeping in a hallow part of a tree.

"Enjoying the nature?"

"A bit." He hummed and continued. It made you miss the living world, the forest reminded you of one you used to go to. It had a dirt path just like this one and a stream ran through it, you remembered finding frogs and small fish swimming around. You've been in Hell for a long time now, you've come to almost never think of your time alive. You hated Alastor for bringing you here and in turn bringing back your memories. He did this on purpose, he wasn't just physically hurting you he was emotionally. The whole not letting go during the movie and all the talk of destiny, he was messing with your mind and you needed to not let him.

"This place is where I come for some inspiring! Some of my fun performances have come out of here."

"Glad to see where you plot your murderous rampages..." You grumbled.

"The hotel became my new place of entertainment, and now you. So sadly less time for my preformamces."

"Why did you bring me here?"

"I figured you'd like it, we both came from Louisiana after all, I'm sure you've spent time in the swamps, as nasty as they are." You arrived at the small dock. With a equally small boat, the boat was in good shape luckily. He started the engine and gestured for you to get in. You really didn't want to, you'd rather swim. If you had a choice you'd kick him in the water and run away. You don't have a choice sadly so you sat down and the boat left the dock.

"The marsh lands weren't my favorite place, but yes this place does remind me of home." After all these years, you still considered Louisiana your true home.

"I agree, they aren't the best place, but here was the closest thing I could find to back home. This place is supposed to be hidden, and I can go to the city whenever I need something."

"Must be nice being able to teleport all over." You grumbled. Your stomach would never forget the pain.

"It is wonderful my dear. I enjoy staying here sometimes and then waking up to wander the city. Back when I was alive I would wander around, listening to the various jazz bands playing on the streets and all the little shops I could go in." You remembered doing that a lot too, the stores and restaurants lining the streets was one of the best parts of living there for you. The streets bustling with people and there was always a band outside playing a great song to stop and listen to and some restaurant with amazing food if you ever didn't feel like cooking that night. Was he actually opening up to you? Or luring you into some trap. Either way you were stuck on a boat together, might as well not make it an awkward ride.

"My favorite part of living there was that as well. Every weekend I could step outside and just walk for hours, never a dull moment there. My favorite spot in town was this little Cafe next to this second hand store. Grab a used book and drink some coffee."

"My dear we are on the same page!" He pointed to your stop. A little cabin, on the porch sat a table with two empty mugs, "Nothing like coffee to talk over!" He pulled in and helped you out. You sat down and he waved his hand over the mugs and they filled with steaming hot coffee, "I also enjoyed second hand stores. I got my very first radio at one."

"You must really like radios, your entire life seems to be filled with them."

"What's not to love about them. Being a radio talk show host is my favorite activity! When I was alive everyone loved my show, including you, and radios are the best form of entertainment!"

"I did, I talked to some new demons, and they would disagree about the radio being the best entertainment. They would never understand what it was like. They need colored pictures and videos all the time now, can't go a second without their little phones." Alastor laughed, loud and expressive as always.

"You got that right my dear! Makes me wish for the good old days. Who knew we would get along so well? When you're not glaring daggers into me you are very pleasant company. It was true you could enjoy his company, only when you forgot who he was, so was it truly enjoyment? Or ignorant bliss? Whatever it was you felt it was better than constantly being one edge, waiting for a horrible thing to happen, it was like working about death, why worry about what's inevitable?

"Maybe so, this place is relaxing I guess." You looked around at the red and green surroundings. The red sky painted everything in a red glow. You had almost forgotten how peaceful it was away from the overpopulated lands of Hells cities. Away from the crime.

"It is peaceful. I'll have to bring you here more if I get the reward of your friendly side. Why don't we head back for some dinner and I can tell you another part of my plan for this week?" You didn't realize how much time had passed. It was already past noon and you'd had more than enough coffee, Alastor had kept refilling the cups, that caffeine addict. You agreed and stood up and stretched. You got into the boat after him. To think this was only the second day. Five whole more days, and he seems to have each day planned with something other than what you want. After his stunt pulled while you watched that movie you just wanted to stay in the room and wit out the five days. You hated yourself for letting your guard down there. Tour thoughts were interrupted by the boat hitting something, "Seems we hit something." The static around him grew louder as he stared into the water, waiting for whatever it was to show its face. It brought back memories of yesterday, static filling every part of your body as pain seemed through it. A pair of large red eyes popped up from the water, it looked at Alastor and seemed to sense it was in trouble and it disappeared under the water. Alastor did his creepy snap back to reality and continued humming as the boat pulled into shore. Time for the walk back, "I would just teleport us dear, but you don't seem to like that."

"It upsets my body."

"Husk has that same issue, poor cat, first time I did it to him he passed out."

"I understand why, it's jarring."

"It's never effected me, first time I did it was an accident. This child threw knife at me after I first fell down here. In the panic I teleported away, then I learned to control it."

"A kid threw a knife at you?"

"Children do the wackiest things. I killed him for it, you should seen the look on his mother's face, pure horror, the little brat deserved it."

"Wouldn't say he deserved it, but I agree he probably was a brat." You grimaced as he laughed about the mothers horror as her child was brutally murdered infront of her.

"Indeed my dear, I'm thinking tonight we should watch another one of those fun picture shows."

"Are you starting to enjoy modern technology?" You asked with a teasing grin.

"Never. These newer generations have no class and all their "improvements" are absurdity. The people are soft, they know nothing of hard work and their clothing choices! The horror! So much skin they are showing, have you seen how Angel dresses?" You laughed at his defensive rant, you more accepted the changes made to society, but some things you could do without, like smart phones. The house came into view and you approached the door to the mansion. Alastor unlocked it and held it open for you, "After you." You rolled your eyes but entered, "For the film I was thinking horror, the lady known as Vaggie spoke fondly of one of them."

"Vaggie seems to have good taste. I'll trust her judgements." You referred to both her taste in film, but also her extreme dislike of Alastor.

"What would you like for dinner?"

"You can pick." He nodded and disappeared into the kitchen, you picked up the book you had been reading yesterday and continued. It was getting interesting, they were forming a plan to get the kid out of that house. It would be difficult to navigate the legal work. The parents, despite not caring for the kid didn't want them to leave, odd. I wonder how the plan would play out? Would they get arrested. And the detective did warn them-

"Dinner is served!" You jumped, you really needed to stop letting your guard down, the years of robbery and sneaking around should have taught you better. You got up anyway and went into the dinning area and started eating.

"You know I can cook for myself right?"

"Well tomorrow you can show me how good you are at, I doubt anyone can match my skills."

"I like a challenge, but be warned I was taught by the greatest cook in my neighborhood."

"My mother taught me all the skills I known, and she was the best cook I've met to this day. I like a person who can handle themself in the kitchen."

"Who knew you could even care about someone?"

"It's very rare, I'm not one to be close to people, they distract me from my work. I'm also not like Angle, doing those gross things with people."

"Who knew you could even care about someone?"

"It's very rare, I'm not one to be close to people, they distract me from my work."

"You are so very proud of your work." You put the 'work' in air quotes, to you and many others murder wasn't a profession.

"Yes I am my dear, it's quite a strenuous activity, but it's very rewarding." Alastor smiled wider with pride. The two of you finished eating and went to watch the movie. Alastor struggled slightly with figuring out how to put the movie in to the player. He sat close to you, which you decided not to mention. You didnt want a repeat of last time.

"Arr you enjoying your time here?" That was a difficult question, you could lie and say this was the best two days of your life ever, or tell the truth and risk punishment. You did enjoy things when you stopped thinking, but that was the issue, you only enjoyed things when you didn't consider the truth of the situation. Those moments, like the ones today, were a lie. You'd settle for a half truth, you didn't deserve to feel good about himself with a full lie.

"I've enjoyed some of it."

"That's music to my ears, this has been very helpful in discovering more about my entertainment."

"Good for you."

"Now now, let's not spoil a good moment. Yesterday was a mess and we don't want that again." You sighed and shut your mouth, you didn't even say anything when his hand rest on your thigh. You were hating what you've become, you missed fighting back now you were dead silent as the person screamed in the movie as a fictional murder killed them and a real murderer sat next to you with his hand on you thigh and big smile on his face.

You slept surprisingly well, the previous nights you barely slept, you were scared he'd come in and slit your throat. You woke up on your own, surprised Alastor hadn't come in to wake you for breakfast. He did say you cook today, but you still expected him to wake you or come get you. You got ready and went to the kitchen and glanced around at the available ingredients. You prepared your personal favorite breakfast, it was sure to impress and leave Alastors pride in cooking damaged. You'd make that damaged pride your pride. You set the table and heard humming, you looked out and saw him approaching, you sat down and waited for your victory. He sat across from you and ate, you waited and nothing. Not a single praise or acknowledgment, he left. You were left in shock. He normally at least spoke to you. Well, you weren't about to complain, he was a killer after all and his praise was worth nothing to you anyway. You couldn't help but be upset though, you'd grown used to it in the short span of knowing him, he'd tall endlessly and this was just odd. Had he grown bored of you and was going to kill you? The thought startled you and the desire to leave grew. He'd left you alone finally, but he was smart so surely he locked away anything of use to your escape. Nothing hides from you, the things you've stole were more complicated and harr to do than whatever Alastor could do, you proved that when you took his precious antlers. The first place you should begin your search is the front door. You didn't think it would be as easy as just walking out, but even if it wasn't the front would show what was neat the mansion, he said it wasn't near anything but maybe at least one thing was. You made your way to the front door. Large red wood doors with stained glass windows on either side. You unlocked the door and stepped out with, surprisingly, nothing happening. You quickly saw why, there was literally nothing around you except trees and marsh lands. Glowing red eyes peered at you from the water, hissing sounds coming from the creatures. You went back in and shut the door. Maybe he had a phone? You could call Charlie, she's powerful and could easily come and get you, she was the princess of he'll after all. You looked everywhere, the library, the kitchen, the living room, nowhere had a phone. You tried stopping to think while you took a break. Then you remembered Alastors office had a phone, you hopped you were imagining things. You went upstairs and arrived at the door, you heard the clack-clack of a type writer. Damn it. You had to get in there when he wasn't in there. With this strange silent and leaving you alone finally behavior you could surely get in there no problem when he left to do something else. You just had to be patient. Once he left to eat lunch you could get in. You glanced at the clock, it was close to lunch time so you'd make a simple, yet appetizing and large lunch for him and leave it on the table. He'd leave and you'd be waiting in a room near the office to listen to him go by and once he turned the corner you'd be in there fast and call Charlie. She was probably worried after not hearing from you, maybe Alastor was feeding her lies. It didn't matter because she'd believe you, hopefully. You went to the kitchen, made lunch, it was delicious and he would take another hit to his pride and you deserved to hear him admit it, and went to wait in a room near the office, you were careful to not make a sound as you crept into the room and shut the door. You waited, the typing stopped. The door opened and closed and you listened for the footsteps to disappear. Now was possibly your only chance. You rushed into the room and used the rotary phone, it rang for waht felt like hours and soon you heard Charlie's voice.

"Hello? Welcome to the happy hotel!" You could've cried. You almost did when the phone was ripped from you hands. You were roughly pulled into a choke hold and a hand covered your mouth.

"Charlie! I apologize for not calling yesterday, I ment to ask if I had any morenwork to do. Just the paperwork? That's good to hear. They're doing fine, just eating lunch right now. I'll go grab them for you right now." He put the phone down and threw you out the room. You hit the wall and had the wind knocked out of you,"You are one ungrateful brat." He seethed. You felt the familiar static fill the air. You struggled to catch your breath, "What do you have to say for yourself? I've taken you in as my guest, I've fed you and gave you my time. You try and get Charlie because what? Because I had the nerve for punishing you the other day? If you want to act like a child then I guess I'll punish you like one. You are to go to your room and wait for me to finish eating then it will be time for your punishment. First however you will speak to Charlie and tell her the truth, that you are fine and having fun." You could barely process what he was saying, fear clouded your mind. You started to stand when you were roughly grabbed and dragged to the phone.

"Hello Charlie."

"Hello! It's so nice to hear from you! How are you?"

"I'm good, how's everything at the hotel."

"It's a bit of a mess, but we're making it work!"

"Happy to hear, I can't wait to see you and help out some more."

"Thank you! I'll let you get to lunch! Bye bye!"

"Bye." She hung up and now you were left with nothing to distract ou from the growing anxiety. The was the worst case scenario and if Alastor hurt you that bad for a 'I hate you' what in Luicfers name would he do now?

"What are you waiting for my dear? Go!" You rushed out of the room and quickly went to your, what felt like, permanent jail cell. Fear overtook your mind and you paced the length of the room desperately searching for a solution. There didn't seem to be any way to get out, how did he even know you were calling? You didn't even hear him approach. He can't have eyes everywhere, you didn't see any cameras. Maybe he would be calmer after eating and let you off with a warning, you could lie and say you just wanted to speak to Charlie and you weren't trying to escape. A feeling of helplessness took over and your knees gave out under you. You were brought to your knees once again by Alastor. First he kills the first person you've felt you could have something truly lovely with and now you're at his mercy and will most likely be dead or wishing to be dead very soon. cameras. Maybe he would be calmer after eating and let you off with a warning, you could lie and say you just wanted to speak to Charlie and you weren't trying to escape. The wait felt like hours and your dread only grew, knowing each minute was a minute closer to whatever it was your punishment was. Steps started to register in your brain and you knew God wasn't their to help you, more like punishment you, no point in praying or having hope. You glanced around in a last ditch effort, hoping a gun would magically appear somewhere and you could finally show Alastor what he deserved, a nice and slow death. The door swung open and Alastors big toothy grin grew as he saw you in such a panicked state.

"Smile my dear, don't look so down. I know you just wanted my attention after I ignored you all day. But bad behavior is bad behavior and spoiling my fun I'm having with you ruins my entertainment."

"Go away you dirty-" You let out a blood curdling scream, your vision went black until you found yourself curled on the floor with your hands pressed hard against your ears, not that it helped.

"Catch your breath, don't think this is over though." He smirked. Oh but it was over, you made sure of it, you'd accidentally bit your tongue, it had given you an idea. He'd account for the blood loss he made, but not what you'd do. Blood was flooding your mouth, the pain nauseousatig. You clamped your mouth shut, you needed an escape bad. You'd never get one without this. You closed your eyes and waited for round too. You felt a jolt of pain and your vision once again went black.

"There shouldn't be this much blood? Dear? I guess I underestimated your commitment to escape. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted."
