Chapter Text
"What!" A series of complaints erupted around the 6 players left of world tour.
Many of the complaints were from Noah. Who looked down at a small note card he had in his hand that had Alejandro's name written on it in somewhat sloppy writing.
Chris had announced the next challenge, after cards were drawn.
"Contestants, you and your partner must recover priceless items of 'mine' from people I will not disclose the names on the show for legal reasons."
"Sounds like a lame excuse to get us to do your dirty work." It's Courtney that speaks up finally.
Chris responds with a shrug of his shoulders. That's awnser enough.
"You have till the end of the week! You and your partner may use any means necessary, just don't end up in jail because I will not bail you out!" Chris has sinister grin on his face. "Your week starts," He looks down at his watch. "Now!"
The few groups of duos grab eachother and head up to Chris who has folders on where and who to find.
Noah observes the duos. Courtney is looking incredibly pissed about being stuck with Gwen. Duncan is stuck with Heather, both look annoyed but less mad looking then the two prior.
The brown haired boy let's out a sigh, or a groan? It doesn't matter. Before getting up and heading towards Chris. Not bothering to cast a glance at Alejandro.
"Mi amigo-"
"Not your freind."
"...right, Noah."
Noah grabbed the folder from Chris, not bothering to listen to the creep. And also not bothering to listen to Alejandro.
He started to walk towards where the contestants were staying. Chris had actually decided to let the contestants stay in a hotel. He heard the footsteps of Alejandro behind him.
"My frein-" Noah glared at him. "Noah, I think we might be able to beat the other pairs!"
"You tell yourself that." The brainiac opened the door to his hotel room. Beating both pairs would be highly unlikely. Duncan and Heather would somehow manage to either get they're item easily, or end up in jail. Gwen and Courtney, on the other hand. Would most likely disagree for half of the week. Buying some time.
Noah flopped onto the couch. Laying the folders contents out on the small table.
"Alright, I'm gonna..." He dragged a hand across his face. "I'm gonna start reading, theese." He gestured to the files. "You do whatever just don't try to do whatever you do to the others."
"Of course all seeing one." Alejandro let out a laugh and fell silent when he saw the glare from the other. "Los seinto"
--------
Noah hated this.
He hated this show.
He hated Chris.
And he hated Alejandro.
"Amigo?"
Noah looked up from the files. He must have zoned out.
Alejandro stood in front of the table. Coffee in hand. "You look tired, maybe you should lay down?" They're was that forced smile on his face, but yet he sounded somewhat genuine.
Back in London, Noah caught onto Alejandro's manipulation tricks and called him out for it. Of course, no one believed him. Everyone was too far swooned to realize.
Alejandro sense then had started to be more careful around Noah and let his more true colors shine when they were alone.
"I need to finish reading theese and start on a plan." Noah grumbled. Focusing back on the task at hand.
Alejandro watched before looking at the table of files. Not knowing what to make of it all, his eyes instead went to the picture of the target.
He froze.
He knew the face on the polaroid all too well. Was it hot in here? Of course it was because the braniac, who was focused on reading ran cold.
"I know him."
Noah glanced up briefly, before doubletaking a look at Alejandro. Confused by the look that painted the taller features.
"What..?"
"I- our target, I know him." He repeated.
"...ok? Care to share with the class?"
Alejandro tore his eyes from the picture, meeting Noah's confused ones.
"Alejandro?" Noah furrowed his brows. "If this is part of your acts I swear-"
"He's my brother."
