Notes:

hello there! this is a sign that i have bit off more than i can chew with my other fic, Class 1A breaks the internet (by using it) I'm not stopping updates, Im just trying to fit more than usual into one chapter and doing that is kinda making it hard to both edit and write. it will hopefully be up soon, though!

Enjoy MHA meeting the Incredibles, As always, If you have constructive criticism put it down in the comments! also, this is a BKDK fanfic, in case you haven't read the tags, so if you don't like the ship please respectifully leave. I have too much on my hands right now, but someone else can write something like this with a different ship or no ship at all as long as they let me know so i can put it on my to-read list! have fun!

Chapter 1: Jack Jack

Chapter Text

Izuku Is on his patrol route with Kacchan on their afternoon patrol when they find a baby.

The baby himself has a light blue onesie on, and looks at them with wonder in his wide, giant blue eyes. Izuku approaches the baby, picking him up and holding him in his arms. Kacchan walks over to him once he has the baby secure.

“So, why do you think there's a brat here?” Kacchan asks, holding out a finger for the baby to grab onto.

Just as Izuku is going to respond, he feels a pull, and all the sudden he and Kacchan are teleported. The room they are now in looks like a nursery. There are pictures on the nightstand that Kacchan goes over to look at after recovering from the shock. It must be the baby’s room, because there are pictures of a family of five, the father holding the baby above all the others. The room doesn't have any fancy baby things on the walls, which means the place is either a rental or the people who live here just moved in. He moves towards the door when a woman with a button-down shirt and gray leggings opens the door with a box of diapers.

She immediately drops the box and lets her arms extend over the both of them, and asks, In English, “who are you and what are you doing here?”

Izuku immediately shows his palms, and smiles at her. “We mean no harm, Ma’am, we were just teleported here for some reason. While your child is a little too young to have developed a quirk just yet, we can assure you we will try our best to help you, we are heroes in training.”

The woman quirks (hah) and eyebrow at them, and slowly releases them. “Okay, I have a lot of questions. But I can tell you weren’t lying when you said you mean no harm. I’m going to ask you to go over to the dining area so I can get my husband. I have a lot of questions.” She opens the door to the nursery a little wider, stepping aside to let them through. She leads them to a dining table and pulls out two chairs to let them sit. She goes somewhere else in the small place they have and they only have to wait a few minutes for the tall, buff guy that was the dad they saw in the picture to come out and sit down at the table as well, holding the baby.

“Helen already told me what you told her. Can you answer some of our questions?” The tall guy raises his eyebrows. Izuku nods, and Kacchan crosses his arms. Ever since the war, he’s let Izuku do a lot of the talking with civilians. “First and foremost, My name is Bob, and I would like to know yours.”

“My name is Mi- wait, are we somewhere everyone speaks english or is that just a thing in your household? Because we found your child while we were patrolling in Japan, and then we were all the sudden in the nursery.”

“How did our baby wind up all the way in Japan?!” The man shouts, standing up and almost knocking over the table.

“We don’t know sir, But I would like to know where we are so I know what order to say my name.”

“Didn’t you tell my wife that you were heroes? Why would you give us your actual name?”

“Because we showed up in your house uninvited. If you wanted our hero names as well, we could give those to you. I’m Deku, He’s Dynamight.” he jabs a thumb through the air towards Kacchan.”

“Aren’t you worried about your secret identity?” Helen, the woman, asks.

“The law about civilians leaking hero names is enacted here, right?”

“What law are we talking about, here?” Bob chimes in, voice a little more angry than before.

Izuku puts his arms on the table, intercrossing his fingers. “The law states that if someone leaks a hero’s personal information, such as last name, family members, or other connections that villains could use against the hero, they are putting the hero and therefore the people the hero might save, in danger. It’s an offense that can put you in jail. The time may vary by how you exposed the hero, if it was an accident, or if it was purposeful, and how many people you told it to. Have you not heard about it?” Izuku cocks his head.

“No, Superheroes are illegal.” Helen takes the baby from bob.

Both him and Kacchan pause. “WHAT?!” they both holler at the same time.

This is going to be a long night.

_________________________________

After a conversation that lasts so long and confuses them so much, they all collectively decide to call it a night and contact someone named Edna Mode in the morning about the baby.

All Izuku and Kacchan managed to get out of the conversation was that superheroes were apparently illegal here, Helen and Bob had two kids who liked to eavesdrop and the kid’s names are Violet, Dash, and Jack-jack, and people were born with their powers here.

It is possible that the baby’s power (not quirk, they don’t call them quirks here) was able to bring them into a different dimension. Meaning that in Japan, there is probably the same situation going on there.

Leaving the two adults alone with that bit of information, and letting the adults coax their children to bed, they fall asleep on the couch after changing into some clothes borrowed from Bob and Helen. Apparently she has Edna make some of her clothes stretchy just in case, so they sleep that night in surprisingly comfortable leggings and oversized shirts from bob. Dash has a school race tomorrow so both of them are coming along as guests, sense when they found out they are both 17 they offered to let them sleep on the couch.

So, the next day they wake up on the same couch they collapsed on last night after changing into some borrowed pairs of clothes (the motel the family was staying at had a donate bin that residents could take from and give to as they please and they managed to find some clothes that fit) cuddled around each other and with a blanket on top of them, phones on the collapsible suitcases that now held their suits that mei designed for situations like these. Izuku can see what power loader meant when he said she was going to be a great support mechanic.

The Parr family is just starting to wake up, Bob has started waking the kids up and Helen is making coffee and starting breakfast. Kacchan gets up from the couch while Helen gets some pancake batter mix, leaving Izuku to get up from the dregs of sleep himself.

Izuku walks into the kitchen to see Kacchan and Helen fighting over the pancake batter box. Assuming Kacchan wanted to make breakfast, Izuku snatches the box from both of them to gain their attention.

“I think Kacchan wants to make breakfast, and it's the least we can do for offering to house us. Besides, we don’t have school right now so we are probably going to be pretty bored if we don’t help around the house, right?”

“You’re kids! You shouldn’t have to do anything you don’t want to!” Helen protests.

“You are not making us do anything, we want to help. I can do the dishes and Kacchan can prepare the food, that way you have time to do other stuff. Besides, it's a lot like our routine where we came from, so if anything we are used to it and it will help us feel a sense of normality. Kacchan just has to make sure not to make more than 7 portions.” Izuku throws a tease at Kacchan in his last sentence.

“Hah?! As if I'd forget I'm not cooking for 20 people, nerd!” He gives him a playful nudge on the shoulder. Izuku starts washing dishes and Kacchan gets to mix making the batter for the pancakes Helen planned to make. Kacchan gave Helen a recipe for a quick strawberry sauce to put on the pancakes since they were running out of syrup and needed to use the strawberries. She set to work on that, following his instructions as he gave them to her. By the end of about 15 minutes, Izuku had all the dishes ready and had helped set out the food, and Helen and Kacchan had made the food and ‘strawberry syrup’. Not as healthy as what they usually ate, but Izuku figures that it’s america, this is probably considered normal.

During breakfast, Kacchan almost curses about 11 times, but quickly catches himself. The Parr family really didn’t want dash or Jack-Jack to learn about those words yet, but Violet probably knows them if the little snickers she does whenever Kacchan messes up tells him anything, but cursing is so much of a habit for Kacchan that he's having a bit of a hard time. Izuku is having a fun time watching him struggle, though.

The rest of the day goes by, Izuku and Kacchan get an inflatable bed and make it clear that they were okay with sharing, get some hygiene products, and other personal items such as notebooks, hoodies, and blankets. They set up the bed in the room Bob and Helen were using as a conjoined office that Helen said wasn’t even getting used as anything but storage, and Izuku and Katsuki moved the boxes around to fit in the inflatable bed and their miniscule amount of belongings.

Finally, the time to leave and see Dash’s running tournament had arrived. The wonder duo put on their hero suits after the brief comment from Bob of ‘something isn’t right’ and they have to agree with him. While Izuku’s danger sense hasn't gone off, per say, it has been giving him a low hum that he doesn't feel like he should ignore, so he and Kacchan make sure to hide their suits as much as possible. It looks like the rest of the Parr family does as well, and Izuku asks about that in the car, but the only answer he gets is that the kids want to, and the kids back it up by telling them the story of last time the parents tried to leave the kids and do hero work by themselves.

Izuku and Katsuki are included as guests, and Izuku has to admit it’s funny watching the reactions of the other families to the Parr family trying to help their son win second place in order to not show his powers. As they are walking out, Izuku feels danger sense’s signal and a few short seconds later, the ground rumbles. A big drill tumbles from the ground and a villain on top of it declares himself as underminer and shouts about the bombs he’s placed under the city. Izuku immediately starts analyzing and mumbling into Kacchan's ear what he finds. The Parr family have already found somewhere to change out of their civilian clothes to reveal their hero outfits underneath, and Izuku and Kacchan do the same. Kacchan had his mask in his pocket, and Izuku had his mouthguard underneath the many folds of his hoodie. They quickly find a way out of their civilian clothes and join the fight.

Following closely behind Bob, they finally manage to get through the maze of tunnels just as the underminer is trying to escape. Izuku quickly grabs hold of the capsule he is escaping in and blocks the exits with black whip. He can hear the underminer banging on the door, but doesn’t let him out. The timer at the front of the capsule they are in right now counts down to zero, not that Bob’s shouting of no helped, and the giant drill bursts out of the ground.

The capsule that the underminer is in right now bangs desperately. But Izuku is using 45% of full cowl to help black whip hold it, so it doesn’t budge. He makes sure to make cages around the holes that the under-miner punches holes through, but just loose enough to let some money leak out to discourage him. When he gets desperate to get out, he will tighten the bonds.

He can feel the drill being turned, and looks out to see Kacchan and Bob trying to keep the drill away from the buildings. Izuku decides to lessen the weight they are turning and help them out a bit. He should be able to use floats.

A train nearby is currently being pulled away by a railroad of ice, so Izuku assumes its another hero. He floats up and uses just enough black whip to slow down the drill enough to get Helen and Bob inside. Kacchan and the kids follow them inside, the older one holding onto Jack jack. The drill stops just before it hits a bridge of panicking drivers.

A small explosion comes from inside the drill. It doesn’t harm anyone on the outside, but Kacchan is in there, so he doesn’t check that well. He enters the drill to find the whole family sitting unharmed, right below the shaft. Unfortunately, because of the earlier desperation to get to Kacchan, Izuku did not notice the police officers swarming the area. Izuku only manages to launch himself down and hug Kacchan before a light is shone above them and a harsh voice calls out, “freeze, supers!”

With the whole family in cuffs and Deku and Dynamight written down as official superheroes, they are eventually released and driven to their motel by someone named Dicker. Izuku can tell Kacchan is holding back jokes, and Izuku’s reprimanding about making him worry is over so they will be able to share the bed and joke to each other about it before they fall asleep.

After Violet tells her dad about someone who saw her without the mask, Izuku and Kacchan communicate quietly to each other in Japanese about what they could have improved. Definitely communication. They got let off super easily because Izuku managed to keep hold of the under-miner, and the money was returned, but there was still huge damages and both of them don’t really know how to work in a team of people who have never been trained. On top of that, they seemed to only be prioritizing lives and know little to no ways to minimize damage. Their calming of citizens was minimal, and they didn’t have a chance to help with any rescuing of collapsed bridges before they were arrested. Violet can create shields and become invisible, Dash can run, Helen can stretch and collapse her body, and Bob has super strength. They would definitely need some help.

They fall asleep that night, talking about the day and falling asleep in each other’s arms.

Notes:

I will not lie, the end is kinda cheesy, but I tend to be a rather cheesy sucker.

I hope you have liked it so far! constructive criticism in the comments if you have it, I would love some writing tips for not just aestethics, but also general writing advice on how to describe an action scene and stuff like that. feel free to dump paragraphs as well if my writing is really that sucky. I also wrote this at like, 1 o'clock for a couple of nights so this is also my tired writing. if you see anything that doesn't make since, please help me out and point it out in the comment section!
