"Nee Kasumi-chan, do you have something you want?" said Tsugumi suddenly. They were currently walking home. This was one of their new habits when they started dating, they would meet somewhere then go home together.
"Wow, what's going on? Is today a special day?"
"No, but I just wanted to give you a gift,"
"No need, because your presence here is the biggest gift I can get,"
Tsugumi looked down, she knew that Kasumi said these things purely from her heart, but still she was not used to hearing it directly.
"Mou, just tell me, I want to give you something too," she said as she patted Kasumi lightly on the shoulder.
"Hmm...I don’t know, honestly I'm quite satisfied with our current situation," after saying that, she suddenly stopped and her eyes seemed to fixate on something in the shop they were passing. "I know, how about we buy a couple keychain?"
"Eh? A couple keychain? Are you sure that's what you want?"
"Sure, let's go in," she said, gently pulling Tsugumi's hand to enter the shop. "Since we start dating, we don't have anything like couple clothes, or something that's just for couples. So, I think this is our chance,"
Tsugumi sighed, but at the same time smiled at Kasumi. "Alright, let's choose what we like, for me I would pick-"
"Star," "Star," they said in unison.
"Hehe, I knew you'd say that, so there's no objection, right?" Kasumi said, taking two keychains that were similar but different colors.
They then went home while holding hands. In their bags they carried a pair of keychains that seemed to glow in the sunset along their way.
