Work Text:

Yes, Ava knew Beatrice was sent away. Yes, Ava expected her to have rebelled. But the picture of (ex-)Sister Beatrice as an angsty metalhead turns her on in surprising ways.

“This was my favourite band.” Beatrice fondly recalls, as Nightwish’s Ghost Love Score enters its crescendo. “Still is, honestly.”

“The singer right? Because Christ, she’s stunning.” Ava might not get metal, but when she caught Bea jamming to Wishmaster earlier, she was awed both by the incredibly mundane sight warming her heart and the magical opera voice coming out of their vintage player.

Beatrice huffs, knowing where Ava’s mind was leading. “Yes, of course. But it also relates to my mother’s heritage. She made everything miserable, but this music… It felt like something from myself worth holding on to.”

Touched, Ava quiets, letting them bask into the emotions as the song reaches its conclusion. (My fall will be for you, my love will be in you)

“Although… The religious imagery sold it for my rebellious phase.” Beatrice admits begrudgingly, as she pulls Ava closer to her (You were the one to cut me, so I’ll bleed forever)

“Honestly Bea, I’m not sure if I find you getting touchy to those lyrics hot or weird.” Ava teases her, but there’s no question.

They laugh as the next song speaks promises of open seduction. “Well, She Is My Sin always speaks to me, obviously. Especially when she is right here.” Beatrice murmurs, tracing her lover’s neck.

Ava shivers, before taking advantage of Beatrice’s wavering focus to flip them, her hips straddling her girlfriend's with purpose. “Well, I am your Wishmaster after all.” Ava grins on Bea’s breathy gasps. “Now let me show you over the hills...”

Angels Fall First, but Beatrice no longer has to wish for hers.

Notes:

This totally is NOT a drabble LOL but let's be real it wouldn't be a real homage to Nightwish if it wasn't way too long.
