Work Text:

Handrofolly didn't know why he was here, stuck in a small prison cell in The City of Aliens, in Queen Dreygin's castle. He started his day as usual, opening up his small bakery in The Smallest Town in The World The Size Of 17 Acres. He was only serving his customers his wonderful cakes when he was suddenly dragged to The City of Aliens by a Halrapur-- who was rude enough to insult his delicious cakes, thrown into DragonFly's mouth without his consent, and mutated into some sort of flying doughnut creature.

He doesn't know what to do. He tried to strong-arm his way out of the cell but the walls were too strong. He sighs and leans against one of the walls, being careful not to crush his new wings.

Handrofolly didn't know how long he was like that before he suddenly heard the unmistakable slish of a Halrapur sliding towards him. Looking up from beneath his horn he saw the outline of a figure that could only belong to Queen Dreygin's main servant; Victor.

The slishing noises ceased as Victor came to a stop in front of the cell bars. "Why- why did .you do that to my people?" Victor asked in a quiet voice, almost like he didn't want to get caught talking to Handrofolly.

Winged Doughnut Handrofolly looked at Victor for a few seconds before answering in the same quiet tone, "I wanted to feed people the most delicious cakes I could...even if that meant using aliens as ingredients. And out of all the alien races I have tried, Halrapur was the sweetest and most flavorful."

Victor didn't know how to respond to that...that wasn't the question he was asking, "No, not that, we Halrapur's understand that. That is why we're setting out to make cakes from humans. I mean, why did you have to make it taste so bad? Couldn't you have added some more spices for a little pizazz?"

This caused Handrofolly confusion, as far as he knew his cakes were delicious, what more could they need, "More...spices?"

"Yes!" Victor answered as he rolled his eyes, "The cake was so bland I felt like I was eating a loaf of Halrapurian bread. Where was the blood flavoring? Or maybe some tears? Instead, you just used those boring human spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, and the like! The flavor needed more depth!"

Handrofolly was shocked...' Why hadn't I thought of that?! Such wonderful ideas, coming from such a wonderful being...such a pretty being...such a scrumptious looking being...he wondered how Victor would taste baked into a cake...or...no...but what if...no, no!'

As Handrofolly was internally debating himself, Victor entered the cell. As the slishing got closer and louder Handrofolly was finally broken out of his thoughts. Quickly he looked up, his horn slightly in the way, 'Oh, how I wish that thing wasn't there...' to see that Victor was very close. Closer than he thought necessary...

"Well, isn't that interesting..." Victor commented while looking him up and down.

Handrofolly cocked his head to the side in confusion- wait 'I did what?!' He quickly looked down to find that where his mutated doughnut body once was, was his old human one. He smiled widely as he looked up at Victor, who still seemed to be ogling him.

Victor slowly approached him, getting into his personal space.

Handrofolly didn't know what to think, so he did what his instincts were telling him to...he kissed Victor.

The end.
