"WAHHHHHH" screeched Jyuto pathetically as he saw the two HUGE men going at it in the woods
"WHAT THE FUCK"
"Ah, Jyuto, hello" said Rio mid-fist
"Good afternoon, Iruma" Jakurai jumps down off a tree FLAWLESSLY and gives a little bow
"What the FUCK are you two doing." The cunty "cop" said reaching to his backpocket for his cigarettes
"Nothing harmful, just a little fistfight for the soul" said the most beautiful man ever (Jakurai), smiling
The ginger has nodded at the doc's words "it really helps me keeping my form up." He looked pleased, meanwhile the "cop" was still confused
"Ah, thinking about it, you came just on time." Jakurai thought out loud
"Mm." Rio nodded "we were just about to eat."
"GOD NO" is what Jyuto wanted to say but since he has some dignity, he said "AH! WHAT A PITY! I JUST REMEMBERED SAMATOKI THAT BASTARD NEEDED ME HAHAHAHA"
"Mm? Then why did you came h-"
"GOTTA GO!!! ENJOY YOUR FUCKERY" is what Jyuto said while running to his stupid police car, what a loser "cop"
"Ah, what a shame" Rio said, looking down
"Don't be upset, Rio, I'm sure we'll have a rather nice lunch even just between us" Jakurai said, with a reassuring smile
"Mm. Let's dig in" said Rio with little excitement in his eyes

"Ah. What a satisfying meal" Said Jakurai wiping his mouth with a handkerchief (how'd he get one)
"I am glad you have enjoyed it" said Rio taking away the plates, his hand rushing a little and barely touching Jakurai's
The act make them both unnoticeably smile softly
"Ah, you know, your presence makes the meal much better for me" the doctor said as he started to blush
"Mm. I like your presence here. It feels very comfortable" the navy claimed preparing the dishes in a box to go by the river later "there's nothing better than a good meal after a good fistfight" he said while sitting down next to Jakurai, smiling
Jakurai giggles "ah, I agree, it really makes me feel youthful again" he looks down smiling softly "I like spending time with you, Rio" he leans on his shoulder, unaware of his action
"I find your company really nice as well." He leans his head on Jakurai's "I wouldn't mind having you everyday here, I could really get used to it"
Jakurai smiles softly "yeah,,, that sounds nice" they stay like that for a little, with Jakurai's hair being played between Rio's hands
"Oi can you two kiss? This is embarrassing" a familiar voice is heard from the bushes, breaking the comfortable silence
"Ah, Dice. Hello" Rio says smiling to him
"Good afternoon Arisugawa" Jakurai greeted him with a smile as well
"Yeeeaaaahhhh sorry to disturb your domestic lovey dovey moment, but ummmm" he gets down on his knees REALLY fast, clapping his hands above his head "COULD YOU PLEASE LEND ME SO MONEY!!! AND FOOD!!!! WITH PREFERENCE TO FOOD!!!" Ah yes, typical Dice, what a sweetheart
"Sure, we just finished eating, but I'm sure that we might have some leftovers" Rio was about to stand up, but looked at Jakurai first as if asking him if it's fine
Jakurai sits up, noticing his cheeks heating, he clears his throat "ah, yes yes, I apologize," he looks to the floor again, feeling somewhat upset that the comfortable air is gone
"There's no need, I'll get Dice some food" he smiles at both of them fondly
"THANK YOU RIO!!! YOU'RE AN ANGEL!!!!" The shortest says as he waves to the ginger who's getting inside the tent to fetch more food, he sits next to Jakurai
"sooooooo" Jakurai is now looking at the younger, who clapped his hands in front of him "I'm sorry I interrupted your date! I was super hungry!!!"
"Date?" The older is now confused
"Wait y'all weren't on a date????"
Jakurai looks at him puzzled
"I mean, I haven't heard much of your convo and shit, but you two looked so much like an old couple leaning on each other like that, it was so sweet I actually felt a bit icky, like when you see your parents kiss kind of icky" the blunt gambler never failed to impress with his honesty
"Oh, I see" Jakurai FINALLY has a clue of what Dice was talking about
"Shit I'm so sorry if I made it awkward I kinda suck at understanding these kind of stuff"
"No no, don't worry Arisugawa, it's fine, if so I'm a little intrigued."
"Oh? Why?"
"The way you think," specifically the "watching your parents kiss" part is what captured his mind "though I must admit, I do find Mr. Rio to be quite attractive"
"Ooooooohhhh I know what you're saying! He's hella handsome!"
Jakurai giggles again at that "indeed very handsome"
"And he's suuuuuper caring too! Seriously I would've DIED if it wasn't for him!"
"He's indeed a very gentle person, I like his unique style of living, very calm as some might say"
"Yuh super chill, not my thing but it looks like it could suit your style"
"My style?"
"Yeah you seem so cool and chill kinda like an old- HI RIO!"
"Rio?" He turns to where Dice is waving, smiling uncontrollably when he notices the man
"Ah, was I interfering your conversation?"
"Not at all Rio!" The gambler snatches the visible plate Rio was holding "THANK YOU FOR THE MEAL!!!" he started eating dicingly
Rio now sits down next to Jakurai again, right where he was before he left to give Dice "food" "what were you talking about?"
Jakurai thought for a second what to answer exactly "not much, just how kind you are"
"Ah, if so I think you're the kinder between us, Jakurai, no deed of mine can compare to your own job"
"Oh believe me, I think your deeds worth much more"
"Please, no need for such praise, I'm just doing what I can to help"
Jakurai giggles "that's quite admirable"
"Kem yuu chwoo schop fwi'in??? Ahm fwayin chuu eech hee" (can you two stop flirting??? I'm trying to eat here) said the gambler with a mouthful of whatever the fuck Rio made, making the two just look at him and then each other fondly while they laugh as the gambler stuffes more "food" up his face

"Fwooah I'm so full! Thanks again Rio!" Dice said patting his own stomach
"I'm glad you enjoyed the food, please come again"
"You bet I will! Anyways I'm gonna crash at the buster bros' place"
The two look a bit surprised "You're not staying here Arisugawa?"
"Nah, imma leave you two alone" he looks at Jakurai and winks, stupid "you'd probably need that"
"Why the place of the Buster Bros, though?"
"Wouldn't it be more comfortable for you to 'crash' at Amemura's place?" Both look puzzled
"Yeahhhhh but idk I get bored, PLUS maybe I can convince Jiro to take his own flat closer to a train station so I wouldn't have to walk long when I go to Ikebukuro for a visit" (read; free food from the Yamada household)
"Why Jiro?"
"Heard he was looking for an apartment to rent alone (so independent!!), thought I could help him too, not with money tho, haven't went to a slot machine yet, also stop asking questions I have a place to get to rn, bye bye!" the blue haired man waves as his figure completely vanishes in the woods
"Ah, what a joyous young lad" Jakurai says while he unnoticeably leans on Rio again
Rio nods "Yeah, he's a nice company too"
"Mm, he sure has some way to lighten up the room" he smiles, now thinking, trying to test his luck much like the dude who just left "right, dear?" HE SAID THE THING!!!
"Dear…" the word rolls out of Rio's tongue, he chuckles "I like the sound of it, it's a nice word"
Jakurai nods in agreement, smiling and playing with Rio's hand "I agree, I think it fits you, as you are very dear to me"
"You are very dear to me too, Jakurai" he leans his head on Jakurai's yet again, making him chuckle "I like the atmosphere right now, it's very soothing"
"I get it, I feel comfortable, maybe it's your presence that makes me feel so comfortable and reassured"
"Even if not, I'd like to once be selfish and think it does." Rio said while stroking Jakurai's hair softly with his free hand "I'd like to believe this is mutual, because like I said earlier, I know I enjoy your company a lot" both of them started to blush at that "Say, Jakurai, would you like to stay the night here? I'd very much like you to stay. Though I won't force you"
Jakurai turns to him, smiles fondly "of course dear, I'd be happy to stay"

Evening has came, Rio and Jakurai had left to hunt food (animals), train, hunt more food (plants), they ate, washed up, now not exactly preparing to sleep, but aren't really doing anything too, they lay next to each other, telling stories about their war days back then when military was a thing, not noticing their bodies getting closer
"That was a funny story Rio" Jakurai giggled "do you have more?"
"I have plenty, I haven't even noticed how much I've shared" they're now closer, so close, Rio tucks one of Jakurai's hairs behind his ear, as if it's a muscle memory thingy by now "I don't know why, but there's something about you that makes me want to tell you everything" he's now caressing the doctor's cheek with his thumb
"I somehow, feel the same way," he says lifting his hand up to hold Rio's "I feel like with you I have all the time in the world to do even the littlest of things"
"Maybe this is why battling with you is so fun despite you being extremely skillful"
Jakurai chuckles "mhm it might be"
They stay in comfortable silence caressing each other and still talking, cheeks going redder as they become closer not only physically but emotionally too
"Oi Jyuto what the fuck is that"
Samatoki said pointing to the two as they, what Dice would like to call, flirt
"Can you be more sensitive! Jeez! Sorry for interrupting, Rio, doctor," he bows and bows down Samatoki's head as well, who growls in response
The couple gave them reassuring smiles, not. Moving from each other except sitting up a bit
"Why the fuck have you brought me here Jyuto"
"...I thought Jakurai would be away by now and we could have a team meeting,,,,"
Said Jakurai started to fall asleep in Rio's arms, resulting a fond look from Rio and "unfortunately" the leaving of Samatoki and Jyuto from the scene as they both curse each other (the tension is HIGH)
What an odd day it was, odd but incredibly nice too, may the rest of their days could be as nice as this one
