You All Thought It Was Over.

Summary:

The 18th year anniversary of Hero’s against Villains is coming. It has been very peaceful for the past years. All class 1-A students are now pro hero's. Fumikage and Katsuki got together in the third year of
UA and happily got married. The two had kids and hence the Bakugou family was created. Though the Tokoyami name did not die. Hawks or Keigo took his last name to get rid of Takami. Now goes by Keigo Tokoyami. They were happy, but not for long.

Chapter Text

“Haru! Kurayami! Akari! Your papa is heading out to work!” Keigo yells out. Soon the shuffling of footsteps could be heard. “Bye papa!” A little girl that looks to be a 6 year old runs up to Fumikage and hugs him. The bird man kneels down to the little girl's height. “I shall see you a bit later, little birdy.” The small girl smiles. Kurayami is a little girl with short spiky black hair. She has two small patches of feathers on her cheeks, black feathers. She has red eyes that match her fathers.

A little boy that looked three years older than Kurayami turned the corner. The most notable feature being the blond bird head, also having red eyes. “Haru, I ask of you to not cause your uncle too much of a ruckus.” Fumi says while slightly smiling towards the bird boy. “Yea, whatever. I’ll see you later papa.” Haru grumbled out. Fumikage just continued to smile softly.

Another girl who looks to be twelve poked their head around the corner. “Akari, I hope you can help your uncle to take care of these two.” Their papa says. The girl has long straight blond hair. Just like the rest of her family, red eyes. She too has feathers on her cheeks just like Kurayami but blond instead of black. She nods back
in acknowledgment. Her father nods back too.

Fumikage finally lets go of Kurayami and stands up and he hugs Keigo. “You better not get hurt out there.” Keigo says a bit jokingly, they back away from each other . “I shall be back by 1:00 am and Katsuki at 10:00pm, keep an eye on the kids.” The bird headed one says. “I got it, now go kick some butt out there.” The ex-hero blurted out with a smile. Fumikage nodded before leaving out the front door.

“Alright, who wants to play video games?” Keigo laughed out while walking to the living room.” All three of the kids smiled before following their uncle to the living room. Keigo quickly set up the gaming console and the controllers. “Hey Akari?” Akari perks up but the usage of her name. “Does Light Shadow want to play?” Before she can answer, an entity similar to Dark Shadow shoots out from Akari’s back. “Yes! I want to play!” The yellow version of Dark Shadow exclaimed. The only difference between the two was the colors. Light Shadow was yellow and had purple eyes. Keigo just nods.

They played a few games. “ARE YOU KIDDING ME!” The bird version of Katsuki yells before setting off an explosion. Kurayami gets startled by the explosion, she lifts her hand off her controller and a shadow flame-ball appears on her hand. She aims at Haru and throws. “Owwww!” he yells out. “Stop setting an explosion every time you lose.” Kurayami comments. “Why you!” Haru gets up getting ready to jump the shadow flame user. Before he could jump, Light Shadow wraps around Haru holding him in place. Kurayami was getting ready to fight but was held away by her uncle.

“Stop fighting…” Akari whispers quietly, barely being heard by the group. “I agree with your sister. We are all family here.” Kei says. They both let go of the younger kids and they sit back down. “How about we play one more game before you guys start any homework?” Kei spats out. “I don’t have any homework,” Haru shouts out. “Me too,” Kurayami replies back.

“Akari?” Keigo asks Akari. She simply nods to let him know she has stuff to get done. He smiles at her. “Well if you need any help ask your uncle.” She nods again.

The group played one more round before doing anything else. Haru, Kurayami and Light Shadow continued to play video games. Keigo decided just to watch the three play just in case Akari needed any help.

“So what is your homework about?” Keigo asked. He moved from the couch where he was sitting to the dining table. “Since the war’s 18th anniversary is nearing, our Language Arts teacher wants us to write an essay about it.” Immediately Keigo stiffen up after the mention of the war.

“Oh,” Kei just stares back at the TV. “What was it like?” The light quirk user says. “What was it like?” Akari mumbles out. “I wanted to ask papa and dad but they were kids in the war. Not much older than me. So I felt bad bringing back those memories. You know what, ignore it. I shouldn’t be talking about it with you…”

“No, it’s fine. You are learning about it in school. I’m gonna be completely honest- it was the worst thing in my entire life… I almost lost your papa and your dad? We almost lost him too. Not only that, we lost a bunch of great heros. It was like hell on Earth.” the featherless man told.

“How bad were you, papa and dad injured?” Akari hesitantly asks. “Your papa and I had a huge chance where we would never be able to walk again. We got lucky and had a pretty good recovery. We still get pretty bad body pain but we are mostly good now. Your dad? I don’t know much other than the big scar on his face.” He says.

“I’ll stop asking about it, I just feel awful for everything my family had to go through. Sorry.” Akari apologies. “It’s fine…” Kei simply sighs while leaning back on his chair while stretching. They spent the next hours watching the two youngest of the three siblings with the quirk continuing to play video games on the TV, and soon had dinner after.

**********************************************************

The four were now outside watching the sky. It was currently 7:40 PM. Each kid had a different bed time. Kurayami being 8:30, Haru being 9:00, and lastly Akari being 9:30. And to add on Katsuki would be back home soon. “I’m bored…” Haru whines out. “If you're bored then just pick a fight.” Kurayami jokes. As soon as Kurayami finishes Haru grabs her t-shirt sleeve and runs down the balcony patio stairs to the grassy yard and throws her on the ground.

“Fine, let’s fight!” Haru yells out and lights some sparks on their hand imitating the way his dad poses. Kurayami gets up and lifts a hand forward making a shadow flame ball again. “Hey! Stop the fighting! “Kei shouted out, getting ready to run down the stairs to stop the fight.

“Uncle, if all three of us are going to be heroes in the future then I want to learn how to fight!” Haru argued. “I want to show those villains who’s boss!” The blond man stops and thinks about it. “Fine but when I say stop you both need to stop you guys stop.” Kei says throwing out a rule that must be followed.

That’s when a small fight started. It started off with Haru running towards Kurayami, lighting some explosions to increase his speed. Kura did the same but with bursts of shadow flames out of their hand. Haru lifts his hand up and sends an explosion into his sister's face, making her back up a bit. Hawks realize this is one of the blond haired hero’s attacks. Well, it’s one of his attacks but much more sloppy.

Haru let off another explosion to get over Kurayami then set an explosion into her back. Falling forward onto her knees and hands. Haru looked down at her. He was about to let off another explosion into her back while she was on the floor. She rolled to the side when Haru hand touched the floor setting off the explosion, Kurayami grabbed his wrist and started to burn him. The ex-hero stepped in there. “Alright, the fight is over.” Immediately the two kids stopped and turned to face their uncle. “You both aren’t that bad, but here are a few things you can improve…”

Kurayami was now in bed. Now the older two of the kids are awake. The two kids and the adult were cleaning the downstairs of the house. It was quiet, there would be the occasional sentence spoked but it was mostly quiet. Haru opens his mouth and lets out a yawn. “Little Katsuki, if you are tired you should get yourself in bed.” The blond hair man said, Akari followed with a nod. “Nooo, you promised we would watch a movie when the brat of the family went to sleep!” Haru sleepily said, kinda sounded like whining.

“First of all, don’t call your little sister that. Second, if you don’t stop being a menace to your sisters then no more movies. Third, I completely forgot- so thanks for reminding me. The movie can’t be too long because you all have school tomorrow.” Keigo replied, while finishing up cleaning.

Not long after the three got back on the couch that they were on not too long ago. They buried themselves in blankets, pillows, and a few stuffed animals. They turned off the lights, the TV on, and chose a random movie that looked interesting. Haru was the first to close his eyes and go into slumber, Akari followed, and the ex- hero, Keigo, followed thinking about the war’s ending day. “It’s about to be eighteen years.” Was the last thing we whispered out before slipping into a dreamless sleep.
