*Amp screeches* “OH GOD ELIRA TURN THAT DOWN!!”
“IT WASN'T MY FAULT THIS TIME POMU I SWEAR! IT WAS SELEN”
Selen, Elira and Pomu were all in the studio, preparing for their next song.
“God, can you not set up amps, even Millie and Enna can set them up better than you! And they don’t play guitar or bass!”
“Yeah yeah, man sister get your girlfriend under control”
“No. I like seeing you get told off”
“HUH WHAT?!”
All three hear a loud bang of a door opening.
“Gosh all three of you can be heard from 3 streets down”
It was Enna, with Millie right behind her. They both had let three know they were going to come late because Millie suddenly wanted ice cream from a newly opened store.
“Also you guys are meant to keep the volume low when you plug your chord into an amp”
“My point proven Enna knows amps better than you guys so, Pomu 1, dragon twins 0”
The rest of the day was spent bickering, as usual.
Next day at NijiHigh
“Finana!Finana!Finana!”
Finana heard someone calling her name, as she turned around she saw her girlfriend Selen. Selen was running at her full speed, it kind of scared Finana because people were getting knocked at how fast she was running.
“Finana!” Selen finally said as she caught up to Finana, Selen took a few breaths before speaking again. “You should come to our practice after school, we are going to have a game night, it will be really fun!”
“Hmmm, I don’t know, I got homework I need to do-”
“You can do it there while we practice and then we can all play games together!”
Selen looked really adamant on wanting Finana to come, but Finana didn’t want to, she just wanted to go home and rest, but of course if she said this Selen would be super upset, and she didn’t want her girlfriend to be upset.
“Fine,fine I will come but you all better play good music so I can focus”
“Yes! Will we, I promise!”
Selen saluted at Finana and started running down the hall all the way to the stairs. Finana sometimes wondered how she got a girlfriend like Selen.
At lunch
“Millie, can you for once have a healthy lunch that is not ice cream?”
“Nope, Ice cream for life!!”
Elira and Pomu chuckled who were across from them.
“I wonder where Finana and Selen are?”
“Probably kissing outside”
“Gosh Millie just get your ice cream, they aren’t like that”
“We aren’t what?”
The four were shocked by the sudden voice, though it was just Finana and Selen. They both sat down on opposite sides.
“Well me and Finana have kissed on school grounds before”
“OH SHUT UP SELEN”
Finana had turned into a red tomato, and everyone just chuckled at how cute Finana's response was.
“Hey by the way finana, are you coming to our practice today?”
“Yes she is!”
Selen said with a loud voice everyone turned their heads.
“Selen quite down! We are not at home”
“Sorry sis…but yes she is!”
“I am”
“Yay now we can buy more ice cream for me- I mean for everyone!”
“Yes yes we can for everyone”
“Enna and Millie are really funny, to have that type of freedom is nice…”
“Pomu you have freedom, what are you talking about?”
“Mmm..not really my studies are taking a lot of my time…my parents have such high expectations for me that I might lose my mind soon..”
“Hmm I guess, I understand”
“I guess…” Pomu mumbles to herself. The two continue walking to their lockers for their next classes.
At after school practice
“Sounding good guys, maybe Elira turn your amp louder because I can’t really hear it”
Elira gave a thumbs up to Pomu, while Finana was sitting on the couch behind Pomu doing her homework, though she really wasn’t because she could not focus on it due to them being so loud. Exactly what she expected. Finana closed her textbook and walked over to Pomu “Hey tell them practice is over and lets play games”
“Huh? Really didn’t you say you needed to study for 3 hours? It only been an hour and a half”
“Yes I know but I’m over studying plus they worked a lot in the past hour and half, and you seem like you need to have a break too”
“Me? What I’m ok..I think”
“You just feel a little off today like you have something on your mind”
Pomu did have something on her mind, but she didn’t think she could tell Finana.
“Ok, GUYS one more round then we will play games!”
Everyone all of sudden had the biggest smiles on their faces.
“Ok what game do you guys want to play?”
“super smash bros, so I can beat Enna again!”
“That's not fair! I don’t even know how to play properly, that's why you keep winning!”
“That's why I want to play it”
As Elira and Enna kept bickering, Selen decided they should not play super smash bros, and play something more calm.
“How about we try out ibb and obb?”
Though no one heard Pomu’s suggestion, other than Selen due to Elira and Enna bickering being so loud.Selen put the game on and when the game started Selen asked who two wanted to play and of course Elira and Enna were the first to put their hands up. As the two played ibb and obb, the others sat and watched them while eating food.
Later that night
“Ok I think that's a wrap for tonight it’s getting pretty late and we have school tomorrow”
“Yeah guys it times to get over Enna making them both restart the game”
Selen laughed very loud
“YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THEIR FACES I WAS DYING HAHAHA”
“SHUT THE FUCK UP SELEN!”
Enna's scream was louder than Selen’s laugh, and while Elira looked like she had just experienced a traumatic event.
“Come one Elira lets go now”
Elira got up at hearing Pomu’s voice and walked over to pack her bag
“Thanks for having a game night it was fun guys”
Everyone in unison shouted “Yeah!”. Elira and Pomu walked out of the studio and started walking to their houses.
“It was so fun with everyone right! I mean I think I got ptsd from Enna but it was really funny, like she just-”
“...”
Elira realized Pomu had stopped, Elira turned around and saw her standing there with her head down.
“Hey Pomu, what's wrong? Did I say something bad?”
Pomu wanted to talk to Elira about her problems.
“I-I don-n’t know...”
“Hey seriously are you ok?”
Pomu covered her face as tears started streaming down, Elira was quite shocked out of the 6 months they have been dating not once has Pomu cried, in fact Elira does not recall ever seeing her cry in the past 3 years they have known each other. Elira approached Pomu but Pomu backed away at every step Elira took closer.
“Pomu?”
“I don’t think I’m ready yet”
“Huh? What are you talking about?”
“It’s just everythings been so overwhelming with the band and my studies, plus my parents want me to go oversea for university and I don’t want to disappoint them-”
“Pomu calm down, I understand it is overwhelmed I am too-”
“No, you don’t understand! I don’t think I can’t do us, much longer. It's difficult keeping us a secret especially to my parents, I would get disowned if they found out I was dating a girl!”
“Pomu your parents shouldn’t come in the way of us, you know that just calm down a little and then we can talk-”
“JUST SHUT UP! GOD CAN’T YOU EVEN LISTEN TO ME! I WANT TO BREAK UP WITH YOU! I-I H-HATE Y-Y-OU!”
Elira was in utter shock at what Pomu had just said, she just stood there speechless not sure how to process things, but as she stood there Pomu lifted her head and made eye contact with Elira and ran off past Elira to the other side of the bridge.
