“Can I help?” Asajj asked as her lover grumbled curses at the Nabooian hairstyle she had picked that morning. She was trying to get all of the hair product out, a task which always took longer than putting it in and made Asajj glad that she didn’t have any hair to deal with, and her movements were becoming hasty with frustration.
“Yes please.” Padme sighed, her voice echoing off of the water. She tugged the hairbrush out of the tangled mass of her hair as Asajj knelt beside the tub.
She took the brush and began to gently work the knots out of Padme’s hair. She didn’t get to do it often, so rarely was she on Coruscant, but she liked to do it. It could be incredibly meditative.
“Haste will not help my love.” Asajj said gently and Padme huffed.
“I know that. It’s not really the hair that’s bothering me.” She said. “Can I tell you about what happened at work today?”
“Of course.” Asajj said. She listened to Padme rant, and they worked out as many of the tangled knots of the problem as Asajj worked out the knots in her hair.
