Notes:

Hello! This is my first time using ao3 to write, and also, I'm doing it on my phone, so it's quite difficult. I'll try and update this weekly, but I am terrible at keeping routines, so that's fun. Also this fic has trans Regulus who was sorred into gryffindor (i hc that he was almost a hat stall between slytherin and gryffindor) but dw hes still friends with the skittles who are still in their respective houses. Anyway, now all that fun stuff is out the way I hope you enjoy!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

So, who is going to tell Regulus that James Potter is behind the mysterious love letters that are found on his pillow each evening?

It all started when regulus moved into their dorm last year. The younger boy had taken a huge risk and came out as trans publicity. When Regulus left his dorm, sirius, James, remus, and Peter all fought for him to be placed in the boys dorms, the school however, refused. And after a fortnight long arguement they eventually reached the compromise that regulus would join them in their dorm. This just so happened to further ignite the already burning flame inside of James that he didn't quite understand
