Kidnapping my little brother (to piss off my dad)

Summary:

Instead of Touya feeling mad about being replaced and running away with a new name (Dabi) he decides to rescue Shouto out of spite for Endeavor.

Or

What if Touya raised Shouto instead of Enji?

Notes:

This takes place after Touya escapes from the hospital and gets home to see Endeavor abusing Shouto

Sorry about the trash plot this is my first fic and I have no plot ideas on why Touya kidnappers Shouto other than doing it for shits and giggles.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

He can see his father and his replacement in the house, training.
Except it is not real training, that might be what his father calls it but that's not what it is.
When my father used to "train" me he would hit me, he would make me turn up the heat on my flames no matter how much it burnt. Even when the training stopped and I started training myself the habit stuck with me. Every time I went to the top of Sekoya Peak I would come home with scars all over my arms, legs, and stomach. Guess that old habit really screwed me over.

He was hitting Shouto more than he ever hit me, guess that's what happens when you are the chosen child in the Todoroki family.
Looking at that compared with what happened when first developed my quirk. I do not think that training ever worked, it only ever made my scars grow and hurt more. The flames never became more controlled, they never became easier to use, his lack of proper training caused me to burn at the top of that peak. He thinks his first son is dead and he still won't change, some dad he is.

I could take Shouto.

It would certainly piss my father off, he would no longer have an accessor, and Shouto would no longer have to suffer in the hell. But how am I supposed to kidnap the number two heroes main priority, his favorite kid, and his top experiment?

I remember that despite being the number two hero my father was never good at detecting things around the house. I can remember when Natsuo used to sneak into the kitchen at night to grab snacks without our father noticing because even though we were considered "failers" in his eyes our father still had the nanny keep us on a diet, probably because he wanted his kids to look fit so that he wouldn't be embarrassed if we got seen in public.

I wonder if Natsuo still does that?

By the time the sun had set and it was dark I was struggling to keep my eyes open. Unfortunately for me being in a three-year coma did not mean I was well rested.

It was nearly impossible to see now that the sun had set due to the lack of streetlights around the house. Damn, his father for having them live just far enough away from the main city so that the lights wouldn't reach them.

I finally managed to feel my way around the house and quietly opened the door. From what I could see during the past three hours I have been hiding around the house, it seems like Fuyumi and Natsuo mainly hang out around each other. I noticed that Fuyumi cooked dinner for everyone and when Natsuo wasn't around her he was studying or playing outside. From what I can remember Shouto was a talkative child and when we would eat dinner together, before Shouto developed his quirk, Shouto would talk for the entire beginning of dinner. He probably would have talked the entire time but Father would get tired of listening to him and yell loud enough to cause everyone to be quiet for the remainder of the meal.
It seems like Shouto doesn't talk as much anymore.

He never really talked with Dad and now Mom is gone, plus he's not allowed to talk with Fuyumi or Natsuo anymore. He seems more conservative and quiet now. The only time I ever saw him talk was when he was with his father and was crying, I'm trying not to commit that to memory.

I managed to sneak into Shouto's room without making any loud or noticeable noises. I walked into his room which only consisted of a single tufon in the middle of the room. When I walked over to Shouto and managed to pick him up I realized that he is a surprisingly heavy sleeper, like, extremely heavy sleeper. I picked this kid up and his breathing didn't even change! He didn't move, or make a sound. I would think he was dead if I couldn't hear his breathing. It was harder to sneak through the house when I had an entire kid in my arms but I still managed to get through the house and back to the front. I need a place to hide, I can't just walk around Tokyo with a sleeping kid in my arms. I could hide out at the top of Sekoya Peak for the rest of the night, it would be out of the way from the city and it's not too far from the house so the walk there wouldn't be too hard.

The climb up the peak wasn't too hard since a lot of the forests
Had been burnt down. When I finally got to the spot where I used to train I took note of the surrounding area. All the things I used to train with have been burnt to dust and all the trees were either gone or burnt and fallen over. I moved towards the back far corner of the area, where it would be least noticeable that there were two kids up here if anyone were looking for us. I set Shouto down and sat next to him. It was shocking how heavily he slept, but it worked out in my favor. Hopefully, I will be able to convince him to stay with me and not run home. Otherwise, I'm going to be screwed.

Notes:

Sorry about the short first chapter, like I said at the top there is nothing interesting to put for the kidnapping of Shouto.
