"Oh, this one looks nice!"
Ena picks up the cardigan and hands it over to her girlfriend, Kanade.
"What do you think, Kanade? We could match now!" She giggles.
"Ah... it does look good on me," Kanade replies and gives her a soft smile "Sure, let's go with this one."
Shopping together is a thing they do weekly, despite Kanade not being fond of going out. But it's fine to her, because she's spending the time with the most precious person to her, Ena. They both care so much for each other, and they spend most of their time together. Mafuyu and Mizuki are both supportive of them as well.. they're perfect for each other!

"Hey K, since tomorrow is our one year anniversary, we should definitely go somewhere special! Like.. the beach? Or even- the amusement park!" Ena is too excited that she starts rambling about places she wishes to visit.
Kanade then unmutes herself, trying to keep up with the conversation they're having. "E-enanan... Those are really good options, but I'm afraid that I still can't stand crowded places..."
"Ah! Sorry K..! I was a bit carried away..." She stops talking and thinks for a moment. Then she comes up with another idea. "How about...." She pauses and waits for Kanade's reply.
"Hmm?" Kanade hums, telling her to continue. Even if you can't hear emotions through her voice, she's actually very excited.
"How about we go stargazing-?" Ena's voice is calm this time, but her tone says it all, that she couldn't wait to hear Kanade's response.
Kanade's eyes widens a little before smiling, stargazing? it somehow reminds her of Honami, because she's into astrology. "That's perfect, thank you Enanan. You always come up with the best ideas,"
Ena's heart flutters from the compliment and before she knows it, she's already giggling. "R-really..?? Hehe, I'm glad then!"
Ena could hear Kanade's faint laughs, and she enjoys every second of it. Her laughs are so sweet and loving, even if she doesn't show it much. She couldn't wait for tomorrow. She plans to bring her a surprise present, it's their one year anniversary after all!

After a bunch of talking and planning, they got off the call, and moved to chatting.

Enanan: so, I'm gonna pick you up at your place!
K: What time?
Enanan: is 12 pm fine? I wanna make sure we have a great time before stargazing..
K: Okay, Sure. Thanks again Ena, you're amazing :).
Enanan: reallyyyy??? aw! I'm flattered :DD <3

Ena wakes up earlier than usual, without her little brother's help, even. She was too motivated for this date- no. it's something bigger than a date, an anniversary. She already prepared her ideas for the gift, and she's going to use the extra time to make it. Of course, she's not gonna rush, she wants it to be perfect, just like the one who's gonna receive it. She walks out of her room, to the kitchen. As she prepares her breakfast (she only grabs some cheesecake portion from her refrigerator lol), she could hear steps behind her.
"Ena, you're up early. That's rare." Akito sounded a little surprised, but he didn't complain.
Ena turns around with a plate of cheescake in her hand and a spoon in the other. "And? It's none of your bus-"
"Oh, it's your anniversary with Yoisaki-san?" Ena is surprised that he knows, but she shrugs it off. The silence between them grows again, they're always kind of awkward when they're having a conversation. Akito scratches the back of his head and finally breaks the silence "Uh- .....congrats."
Ena seems surprised a bit, but after a couple of seconds, she smiles at him. "Thanks! And when are you and Touya gonna get together-??" Akito's brows furrows, clearly annoyed. "You-" And before he could say another word, Ena rushes to her room and closes the door, locking it after.
"O~kay, now let me just prepare my paper..." She plans to give Kanade a portrait as the gift, after all, Ena is an artist, of course that's her first thought. Ena's phone that is on her table suddenly lights up, meaning that she has received a notification. She immediately walks to her phone and unlocks it, expecting a message from Kanade.
She sighs. Turns out it's just a like notification, and as usual, not on her art account. She continues searching for her paper. Not long after, she finally finds it. "Ah! There you are.." She places the paper on her table while grabbing other tools for drawing.
Now it's time for the references. Good thing Ena has an album full of her girlfriend's photos. She scrolls up and down searching for the perfect one, which is hard cause every picture of Kanade is always perfect in her eyes, no matter how bad the lightning or angle is, no matter how blurry it is.
Eventually, she did found one and starts sketching.

It's now 11 am, Ena is finished with her gifts (she made more than just one piece,,) and it's time for her to get ready. First she took a shower, then dried herself, and now she needs to pick her fit. This is probably the hardest part for her, because she wants to look perfect for her beloved today. After some time, she decided to wear the cardigan she bought some days before. After that, she puts on a perfume and is ready to go.
"Akito, I'm leaving. Keep the house clean 'til i come back, okay?"
Akito who is sitting on the couch rolls his eyes "Yeah yeah whatever." He pauses for a bit, thinking of saying it or not. "....Have fun though." he eventually adds.
She stays silent for a couple of seconds but then smiles at him and nods a little "I will." Then she puts on her shoes and left.

Ena arrives at Kanade's house, and rings the bell.
When the door opens, she is greeted with Kanade with her hair up, also wearing the same cardigan she wears. What a coincidence! They're matching now. Ena immediately blushes after processing everything.
"Y-you look really pretty-!!"
"..Haha, you're prettier..."
Ena's face turns red. They're admiring each other's beauty now, and Ena simply couldn't resist anymore.
"Can I... hug you?"
Kanade immediately nods and leans closer to her, Ena then grabs her waist, pulling in for a hug.
"Shall we go now-?" Ena exclaims with a warm tone, still hugging Kanade.
"Yes, of course..." Kanade pulls back, and they continue on with their date.
