Roof's POV
Acorn walked beside me down the hall to one of the small offices, she looked at me and said, "So have you and Phobia told each other yet?"
I rolled my eyes, "She doesn't like me like that."
"She does and everyone knows it." We got to the door, "Okay it's in here." We walked inside and she shut the door, "It's just this right here."
"Okay cool yeah, I can fix that."
She smiled, "Cool thanks, I'm gonna go grab something from the kitchen I'll be right back."
"Okay."
She walked out of the room and I started fixing her camera, wondering why she had to have it fixed in there instead of her room. I kept working on it not really finding anything wrong with it then heard the door open again and Aether say something.
Phobia's POV
Aether walked beside me down the hall to one of the offices where he noticed something was wrong with the lights, and since I work on the lights for the stage and everything he figured I could help. I looked at him, "So what was the light doing?"
"I tried flipping the switch and it wouldn't come on then I tried again and it flickered, I don't know if it's the bulb or something else."
I nodded, "Okay, we'll see what it is."
When we got to the door he opened it and said, "Thanks I know you were supposed to hang out with Roof today."
"Yeah we're gonna," we walked inside and I saw Roof sitting at the desk fixing a camera, "oh hey."
They smiled at me, "Hey, what are you two doing?"
Aether smiled, "Okay have fun."
"Wait what?"
He shut the door behind him then we heard the click of the lock, Roof looked at me, "Did we just get locked in here?"
I nodded, "Yeah, hey what the fuck?"
Acorn said, "You guys are staying in there until you tell each other."
I looked at Roof then back to the door, "Tell each other what?"
Aether said, "That you like each other! Call us when it happens and we'll let you out."
Acorn laughed, "Bye we'll be waiting!"
I heard them walk away then turned to face Roof, "So what should we do until they let us out?"
"I don't know, she had me come in here to fix her camera but there's nothing wrong with it."
"Yeah Aether had me come in here to fix the lights but," I turned the lights on and off, "nothing's wrong with them."
Roof sat on the desk while I sat in the chair with my feet up, "So what were we gonna do later?"
They shrugged, "I don't know, maybe play some video games, I got some of that stuff you like."
"What that cereal stuff?"
"Yeah, I found the flavor you like and have a couple bags in my room."
"Your room is a tent on the roof."
"Yeah and?"
I laughed, "Nothing, I wonder how long it'll take for them to let us out."
They nodded, "Yeah, what if we need to go to the bathroom?"
"Shit I don't know."
"Do you have your phone? We can call Copia."
"Yeah, unless Aether got him in on it too."
"Fuck you're right."
I leaned back in the chair, "We might die in here."
"Yeah, I think we could find a way out through the vents if we needed to."
"Probably."
I heard something in the hallway that sounded like wheels rolling and stood up, "Zephyr!"
They stopped, "Phobia?"
"Hey Roof and I are locked in here can you let us out?"
"Oh yeah, sorry guys I promised Aether and Acorn."
"What?"
"Sorry, just tell each other and they'll let you out."
Roof said, "Zeph please?"
"Sorry I can't I have to go find Special."
I heard them leave and said, "You guys are assholes!"
I looked at my phone to see that an hour had passed, I set it down and looked at Roof, "What do they want us to tell each other?"
Roof laughed, "They think we like each other."
I felt everything stop then laughed, "They're crazy."
They laughed, "Yeah, they don't know what they're talking about."
I felt my phone vibrate and picked it up to see a message from Acorn, it was a recording of Roof. I looked at them and said, "Should I play it?"
They shrugged, "I guess so."
I hit play on it and heard Roof say, "So what if I like her, she doesn't like me we're just friends."
I looked at them as their face turned red then heard Acorn say, "She does like you, you two are just idiots."
Roof said, "Look she doesn't like me, that wouldn't work anyway with her going on tours with them to fix stuff and me staying here."
I looked at them when it stopped, "When was that?"
"Today, before she brought me in here." They looked down at their phone as it buzzed and said, "Great this one's from your cousin."
"Play it."
They hit play and I heard Aether say, "So you two finally going on a date tonight?"
I said, "No we're just gonna hang out, you and Acorn have to stop they don't like me."
Aether laughed, "Yeah they do."
"We're friends that's all."
"Oh yeah then who do you call every night when you're away? Because it's not me."
"I call them because we're friends, even if I told them they don't like me so what's the point."
Roof looked at me when the recording stopped, "So?"
I looked at them feeling my face get warmer, "So."
"What do we do now?"
I looked at the door, "I don't know, does that count?"
We heard Acorn yell, "No! Tell each other!"
They looked at me, "How do we?"
I shrugged, "I don't know."
"Okay, uh."
"So that conversation was real?"
They nodded, "Yours too?"
I nodded, "Should we say who we were talking about?"
"I guess so, neither of us said a name."
"Okay at the same time."
"Okay."
We both counted to three then both said, "You."
We froze and I looked at them, "Really?"
They nodded, "Yeah." They looked me in the eyes, "So you?"
I nodded, "Yeah, and you?"
"Yeah."
I heard Acorn say, "One of you ask the other out!"
They laughed, "Well, do you want to go hang out? Away from everyone else?"
I smiled, "Yeah sounds like fun."
They laughed, "We can lock everyone out."
"Sounds good to me."
The door opened and Acorn said, "There you go was that so hard?"
I rolled my eyes, "You guys are assholes."
Roof laughed, "I'll talk to you later don't ask us for anything."
Acorn laughed, "Okay have fun."
