tracing your scars
Summary:
Tony assures Stephen how beautiful his scars are.

Work Text:
Tony traces the scars on Stephen's trembling hand with a finger, holding them delicately. He feels the sorcerer's tenseness as he inspects every raised, red skin.
"They're beautiful," he mutters softly into the minimal space between them, raising Stephen's hand to place a gentle kiss on it. Stephen huffs, empty and disapproving.
"Not to me," Tony says, sincerity tracing his every word. "They're a part of you. They show how strong you are. You’ve done so much with these hands, Stephen. So much."
Stephen doesn’t answer. Instead, he looks at Tony with a soft look in his eyes.
