Johnny Lawrence sat on the weathered curb outside the Miyagi-Do dojo, the distant echoes of training filling the air. He watched the students practice their moves, a sense of nostalgia creeping over him. His eyes caught a flash of electric blue near his feet. Baffled, he peered closer, discovering a small robotic blue beetle, its LED lights flickering with a soft glow. "What the hell is that?" Johnny murmured, reaching down to pick it up.
The beetle responded to his touch, coming to life in his palm. Its tiny mechanical legs moved, making the bug crawl around. It seemed like a high-tech toy, but Johnny was captivated by its intricate design. He chuckled and decided to keep it, placing it carefully in his pocket.
As the day wore on, training sessions ended, and the students filed out of the dojo. Daniel LaRusso, Johnny's eternal rival turned uneasy friend, remained. Daniel approached Johnny, a friendly smirk on his face. "How about we hang out for a bit? Grab a bite to eat or something?"
Johnny, feeling a strange sense of camaraderie with Daniel, agreed. They got into a car, Daniel at the wheel. The engine hummed to life, and they pulled away from the dojo. In the midst of their conversation, Daniel caught a glint of light coming from Johnny's pocket. Intrigued, he pointed it out, "Hey, what's that glowing in your pocket?"
Johnny shifted slightly, realizing what Daniel was referring to, and pulled out the robotic blue beetle. "Oh, this thing," he said with a casual shrug. "Found it earlier, just a random gadget crawling in the yard. Kept it 'cause it looked cool." He carefully placed the beetle back in his pocket, the blue lights softly illuminating the interior of the car. The mysterious beetle had unknowingly become a tiny catalyst for an unexpected adventure that would soon unfold.
Johnny sat in the passenger seat, his grip on the robotic blue beetle tightening as it continued to glow and move in his pocket. His discomfort was evident, his hiss of annoyance escaping his lips. Daniel glanced over, catching Johnny's discomfort out of the corner of his eye. He knew something was up.
"Johnny, you okay?" Daniel inquired, genuine concern in his voice. Johnny didn't respond, his gaze fixed on the tiny mechanical creature that had found its way into his pocket.
The ride continued in uneasy silence, the soft '80s rock music filling the car, though it wasn't to Johnny's taste. He was more of a hard rock and metal kind of guy, but he tolerated it, if only for the sake of their newfound truce.
Arriving at Johnny's apartment, they sat side by side on the couch, the robotic beetle still crawling in Johnny's hand, emitting curious noises. The atmosphere was charged with a mix of fascination and apprehension.
Johnny couldn't help but break the silence. "Hey, I think it likes me," he remarked, holding the robotic beetle out in his palm. Just as the words left his mouth, the tiny creature leaped from his hand, landing squarely on his face.
Panic ensued as Johnny frantically tried to remove the beetle from his face, inadvertently punching himself in the process. Daniel watched in horror as his friend struggled, helpless to assist. Suddenly, Miguel and Robby burst into the room, confusion etched on their faces.
"What the hell happened?" Robby yelled, his eyes darting between the bizarre scene before him.
"Where did it go? He's possessed!" Miguel exclaimed, panic gripping his voice.
Amidst the chaos, Johnny managed to scream, "It thinks it's inside of me!" His voice quivered with fear as he desperately tried to fend off the mysterious creature.
Minutes later, Johnny was outside on the apartment roof, his transformation complete. The four dark appendages emerged from his suit, clawing onto him as the mask materialized on his face. Johnny's suit took control, and he embarked on a series of dangerous maneuvers.
Inside the apartment, the three bewildered onlookers exchanged fearful glances. Johnny's suit eventually returned, but he was falling backward into his room. With a small hole in the ceiling as evidence, he had gone on a wild journey. The three were left in the living room, scared and confused, discussing the bizarre turn of events.
Johnny finally detransforms in his room, exhausted and
completely naked standing up. He called out for Daniel, who ushered the others to wait outside. Entering Johnny's room, Daniel was shocked by what he found but placed Johnny down and covered with a blanket before quietly closing the door and rejoining the others, still trying to make sense of the incredible events they had just witnessed.
