Work Text:

It's enough. It's really enough now. Your own fucking mother scolds at you for the thing you have totally no responsibility in it again. Why can she do this to you? Just because she gave birth to you? You never ask her to give birth to you. And when she gets unhappy, she always complains how her body's health worsens because of giving birth to you.

You hate yourself for not having the courage to stand up and fight back against her. No, you can just sob quietly as you get out of your home. And great, people just look at you with weird stares, like worrying you will suddenly take out a gun and shoot them.

Yet if you really have a gun, the person you will shoot is yourself. Everything around you sucks. Your gambling father, your abusive mother, your sisters who just used you and teased you, your so-called friends who just betrayed you. In fact, no one around you is reliable and can be trusted.

And now, you are standing on the rooftop, trying to kill yourself again. However, you are scared of the accompanying pain of jumping from the rooftop, so you can just cry painfully on the rooftop. You are so useless that you don't even have the courage to accept the pain of death.

And what's even worse is that, you see a man on the ground look at you on the rooftop with weird eyes. You don't want him to call the police, or other people. They will just comfort you with fake hope, trying to convince you how good this world is, when the fact is that this world is only getting worse. The news of wars , viruses and other things that tell you how cruel and horrible human nature is are on air every day.

Therefore, you leave the rooftop. You run to the park and sit down . You want to calm down and change your mood, so you take out your phone and read your Twitter aimlessly. You just roll and read the tweets without any purpose, trying to calm yourself down from reading some meaningless posts from strangers.

This is the time when you see a post from a total stranger, who implies that he can help people end their lives in peace. You can't help but read the post again and again. A hope of ending your meaningless life appears in your heart.

You then inbox him, and he doesn't disappoint you. He replies to your message instantly. You don't say much in the message. You just tell him you are interested and ask his address.

To your surprise, the address is quite close to the park you are in right now. You then go to his home immediately. You don't worry about whether he is a bad guy or not. You want to die anyway, so why does it matter?

You then arrive at his home. You knock at his door with a shaking hand. And then the door opens. A man who is around his forty comes out. You cannot help but look at him. You never expect a person who helps people kill themselves to be this good looking. His appearance is not horrifying. On the contrary, he is tall, fit yet muscular, giving you the feeling of security that you never have before.

You show him the chat that you two were just in with your phone. He then confirms you that you are the person who wants to commit to suicide. He then leads  you inside.

He leads you to the sofa in the living room. You sit down on it and he sits next to you. You suddenly burst into tears and cry hard, not from the fear or sadness, but from the relief that you can finally end your worthless life.

He pulls you into his strong arms gently, and lets you bury your face onto his chest and cry hard. He doesn't say anything, just strokes your hair and your back softly. Such a simple action sends warmth to your heart and you finally calm down.

"Do you want to tell me anything?"  He asks you in a soft and deep voice. His voice is so gentle, in contrast with your mother's loud and high pitch voice when she is yelling at you. You nod your head as you keep burying your face on his chest.

You then open your mouth, telling him everything, from the abusive mother who controls your life and always scolds you, to your gambling father and the sisters who betrayed you, to the bullying you got in your school and even in your work now. Your tears keep falling as you tell him your painful life.

He says nothing, unlike others who comforted you with fake hopes and promises and even judged you, saying that you are the one to blame for creating this awful life by yourself. He just rubs your back in circles  and hugs you tightly, sending the warmth to your heart that you never felt before.

You finally raise up your head from his chest later. "So will it be painful, the suicide?" You ask him in a shaking and hoarse voice as you look into his eyes. He shakes his head with a gentle smile on his face. He then holds both of your hands tightly.

"It's not going to hurt at all. I will inject something in your body. You will get sleepy later and at the end, you will end your life with a peaceful sleep." He tells you softly as he wipes away your tears with his hand.

Next he pulls you up gently and leads you into his bedroom. He then instructs you to sit down on his bed. You then see him taking out a syringe and a vial from his nightstand.

"Don't worry. It will be quick and painless." He says to you softly and strokes your hair softly, as he notices the fear in your eyes. You then close your eyes and take a deep breath to relax. You then raise up your arm to let him inject the drugs into your vein.

And he doesn't lie. You don't feel a thing as he injects you. He then helps you lay down on his bed. You open your eyes and look at him. You feel so safe as he is next to you.

"Can you stay here and hug me, please?" You can't help but cry again as you ask him. He then nods his head and presses a soft kiss on your forehead.

"Don't worry. I will stay with you." He says to you firmly, before he lies down next to you. He hugs you tightly and strokes your back softly afterwards. You then become sleepy under his gentle stroking.

Later, you enter into the peaceful sleep within his strong embrace. You finally end your horrible life in peace.

After feeling like forever, you open your eyes. You feel weird as you recall that you have already ended your life with a kind man.

You look around and see you are in a dark room, which looks completely different from the room you previously were in. You then see the man who assisted your suicide stands in front of you.

"Why am I still alive? Did you lie to me?" You look at him with sadness, as your tears cannot help but keep falling down.

"I didn't lie to you. And you are not alive either." He says to you gently as he sits on the bed and looks into your eyes. "You are already dead. Your previous horrible life has already ended." He tells you firmly as he picks up your hand and puts your hand onto your chest. You then notice that you cannot feel your heartbeat anymore.

You are surprised but in a good way. Your lips curl into a smile instantly.

"I am the Death Angel and my job is finding people like you and assisting them to leave the world which is too painful for them. And now I will lead you into the world with no pain, sadness or betrayal. You will only feel happiness." He then leads out his hand.

You reach his hand without any hesitation. He smiles as he feels your complete trust.

"Welcome to your new life, dear." He then pulls you into his arms and whispers in your ear. You can't help but start to kiss him. He kisses you back with passion.

Even though this man is going to lead you to hell, it's totally fine. Since he is the only one who treats you well and helps you end your horrible previous life.
