Courtney’s pov
Courtney always got mad easily even when she was young. Her parents always told her she needed to work on her temper, that she wouldn’t have friends if she got mad over everything. So she tried to hide it, she would work hard and be the best then she wouldn’t be mad anymore. That’s not how it works though.
She joined total drama island to win money and show her parents and classmates that she could do anything she puts her mind to. But she met Duncan. He was an dumb criminal but he didn’t judge her for not being perfect like everyone else in her life. Even when she would get mad and break stuff he would never tell her to calm down he would cheer her on and she loved it.
She’ll admit she let her temper get the better of her for a while. But during World Tour she wasn’t mad, she was happy she got to hang out with her boyfriend and sing.
She was surprised when Duncan quit but she kept going making friends with Gwen. It was nice.
Then during the London challenge she and Gwen found Duncan! She was so excited and happy, she got her boyfriend back and had a new best friend. What could be better!
She didn’t even care that it was a non-elimination challenge. With the way Alejandro was glaring at Noah he wasn’t as chill about it. She never had any problems with Noah though she didn’t talk to him much but she found his sarcastic remarks funny.
We were doing a challenge in Greece. Courtney had been having a bad feeling all day but decided to ignore it. There was a tie breaker with Tyler and Cody; those feathers did not look safe to fly with; she's glad she isn’t the one doing it.
Alejandro walked up to Tyler before the challenge started.
“Time to pay back that favor, please tell Courtney what you know about Duncan and Gwen” Alejandro says to Tyler.
‘What is he talking about? What about them?’ She thinks to herself.
Chris is counting off to the challenge, he looks like he’s enjoying this.
“Now” Alejandro demands.
“I saw Duncan and Gwen kiss!” Tyler shouts.
“What!?” Courtney yells.
She can’t believe that she thought her and Duncan were in a good place. But what surprised her more was that Gwen would do that to her, she thought they were close. Close enough they would hang out after the show and be best friends. But she kissed her boyfriend… She was betrayed by the two people she was closest to on this dumb show.
She looks at Gwen who was right beside her then she turns to Duncan, she starts running at Duncan shouting things that would definitely be cut out later. Sierra and Owen hold her back after she lands one punch and the worst part? Duncan doesn’t even look sorry he’s glaring at her calling her some stuff that’ll also be cut out later. He could’ve at least apologized right?! He cheated on her with her best friend!
Chris made her sit in the plane to finish the challenge saying if she kept yelling like that they wouldn’t be able to air it. She’s sitting in the cargo hold. She wanted to be alone to think. She’s angry, really angry. She wants them to pay for what they did, they made her look like a fool on television.
She’s deep in her revenge planning when she hears someone walk in and she sees Noah. He sees her and he gives her a look of pity. She hates that look.
“Oh sorry I just wanted to look for my book” he says
“It’s fine. Is the challenge over yet” she questions.
“Yeah, your team won.” He stated.
“Thanks” she says and goes to walk out.
“Also Duncan’s an asshole, you could do better. No offense” he says it’s obvious he’s trying to comfort her he’s not that good at it but it doesn’t seem like he’s trying to use her like heather or Alejandro would. Everyone liked Alejandro but she knows what Noah said about him and Noah’s a good judge of character.
“Thanks, I’m gonna get him back for this” she says.
She doesn’t know why she’s telling him this there on the opposite teams but Noah doesn’t care enough about this game to socialize with the other contestants so she doubts he’ll go around telling people.
“I hope you get your revenge” he says picking up the book he came in for.
“Thanks, I’ve read that book, it's one of my favorites!” She says trying to take her mind of revenge for a little, also not wanting to go back to her team, to Gwen, yet.
“I’ve read it so many times I could recite the thing word for word!” He says.
They talk about the book and even other books, they have similar taste in books. They talk for a long while before Owen comes in and tells Noah it’s time to eat and they head off. Maybe she can have a friend on this piece of shit.
Noah’s pov
Noah knew Duncan was a dumb piece of shit but he didn’t think he would sink so low as to cheating. And Gwen was even more surprised it was obvious her and Courtney were friends and she kissed her best friend’s boyfriend. Running into Courtney he thought she would rip off his head for interrupting her revenge planning, but they had a pleasant conversation about some of his favorite books. Maybe he misjudged her, maybe even be friends with her.
Owen asked Noah why he was talking to Courtney and talked about how dumb Duncan was while they ate (Owen ate Noah just moving around the “food” with his spoon).
“Was she okay?” Owen questions.
“She seemed mad at Duncan but she was taking it better than I thought” Noah says he’s not really good with other people's emotions but he was trying his best to comfort Courtney. He hates cheaters. If someone was unhappy in a relationship they should tell their partner and break up not be a coward who goes behind their back.
Alejandro walks in and glares at Noah and Noah glares right back at him. Why is Alejandro so mad? Whenever Heather tells everyone about him he just smiles and compliments her. Not like Noah expects him to act the same but why is he so mad?! He was telling the truth!
“Little buddy?” Owen says confused.
“Yeah sorry chubby buddy I spaced out” Noah responded.
“Are you sure about Al? You two seemed close and now you say he’s evil” Owen says looking sad.
“He’s been getting people kicked off left and right! He almost got me kicked off too!” Noah says, sounding more angry then he meant to.
“Okay sorry” Owen says looking really sad now.
“I’m sorry for getting mad buddy it’s just I do think he’s bad news okay?” Noah says with a calm voice.
“I trust you” Owen says, still a little sad but calmer than before.
It was a reward challenge so no one goes home but Noah isn’t confident that the next elimination won’t be him. He needs a plan he’s already tired of this dumb game and it’s not even the merge yet.
