Summary
Remus Lupin had lived a life of darkness, suffering and solitude. He had made his peace with that. Until the first of September. Until he opened his eyes on the Hogwarts Express and saw her.

This follows the story of Remus and Hermione, of how one werewolf hates himself more and more when he realises who his mate is, of how one witch teaches him that maybe their fate isn't so bad. Maybe they can figure this thing out together.
