SUNSET
The heavenly sunset left Alma feeling peaceful and at one with herself. This was her favorite time of day, sitting out in the courtyard, watching the sun leave the horizon with it’s beautiful pastel colors.
Ever since her Pedro was lost, Alma found treatment in watching the day come to an end with knowing that another is coming. It’s like having the chance of seeing him, the comfort that he is right here. Bringing back memories of the last time they were together with their babies. All before the nightmare started as light turned into dark.
While the journey of grieving has come to an end, this was her way of keeping his memories alive. Only on special occasions will she allow herself do this.
Always accompanied by her family until they leave to give Alma alone time.
Finally, as the night becomes calm. Alma would head home with the warmth in her heart
