Tucker was suddenly awoken by Danny sitting up rather fast and breathing heavily and sweating. Tucker sat up softly touching Dannys arm, and pulling away when Danny flitched away
"Woah Danny, it's okay.. It's just me.." Tucker spoke softly
Danny seemed to calm down when he saw Tucker. His breath calming but he still seemed on edge
"Hey dude.. Are you alright..? Was it another nightmare..?" Tucker asked pulling Danny into a hug
Danny nodded and hugged Tucker holding onto him rather tight. He rested his head in Tuckers shoulder, letting out a sigh
"You wanna talk about it..?" Tucker asked running his hand through Danny's messy black hair "Mhmm.." Danny muttered nuzzling his face into Tuckers shoulder
".... Was it about Dan again...?" Tucker asked softly, Danny tensed at his name.. That all the confirmation Tucker needed. Tucker moved to have Danny look at him
"Danny listen to me, you beat him.. Look I'm still here, you won't turn out like him." Tuck spoke confidently and softly
Danny simply nodded, and he layed his head back onto Tucker shoulder. Tucker just sighed and held Danny he knew Danny was so scared of becoming anything similar to Dan. So much so he would actually have full blown panic attacks. Danny's nightmares had actually started to become a bit more frequent, causing him to not be able to sleep alone. He either slept at Tuckers or Sam's, or if he was brave enough he would asked to sleep with Jazz (she would always accept)
They both sat in silence Danny basically gripping onto Tucker for comfort, Tucker rubbed Danny's back. Tucker glances at the clock to see what time it was, 4:45am.. 'At least it's not a school night' Tucker thought to himself..
Tucker snapped out of his thought hearing Danny start to softly cry. Tucker immediately pulled Danny closer and comforted him
"Shhh.. Shh.. It's alright Danny.. It's alright.."
" it's alright... You'll never be like him.."
