"I have to go to... The uh... Place!
Bye Jimbo! Nice meeting you Douxie!"
Toby yelled to the King and Master Wizard
standing on the cliff overlooking Arcadia....
(Down, They fell like the Tower...)
"Bye Tobes!" Jim shouted back to Toby.....
Jim looked back towards Douxie with a smile.
(As the land relinquished her ghost..)
Douxie was looking towards Arcadia, With a sorrowful expression. Jims smile fadded as his gaze wandered to where Douxie was staring. "Doux, is everything okay?"
That caught Douxies attention and he looked at Jim. "Yeah, I'm fine, just thinking." Jim smiled again and put his hand on his friends shoulder.
(Heed the sirens, Take shelter, My lover..)
"We'll save Charlemange and Archie this time Doux, Don't worry." Douxie looked confused for a moment before smiling too and nodding. "I know, but thats not what I'm worried about right now.." At what his friend said that moment Jim was confused.
(Flee, The fire that Devours..)
"Then what are you worried about right now?" Jim asked, curious for what Douxie had to say. "Well, I like someone and I want to tell them how I feel... I just don't know what they would say.." Jims gaze had drifted off too the ground below them.
"I'm sure they would like you back.." Jim told Douxie. Even if he doesn't like me like I like him... I will help him with telling who He likes. Jim thought as he looked back up at Douxie, smiling.
(But the sight held me fixed, Like a bayonet against My throat..)
"Thats the thing though, they... They liked someone else the day I met them." Douxie said staring off into the distance. Jim looked off to Arcadia too. "Enough about me though, has Claire fallen in love with you again yet?" Douxie asked him. "No, but honestly... I don't really like her like that anymore.." Jim answered.
(Neither plague or famine tempered my
Courage..)
"Oh, okay." Douxies seemed to relax some after Jim said that. "Whos the person you like?" Jim asked, curiously. "Well, honestly.. I'm Bisexual, its a guy.." Douxie answered, And Jims heart started to beat a bit faster. "I see.. I hope your able to tell him." Jim said as he turned towards Douxie, Smiling.
(Nor did the raids make me cower..)
"So, do you like anyone else?" Douxie asked Jim. "Yeah.." Douxie smiled and continued to ask, "Who?" His friend asked and Jim looked back towards Arcadia. "Same situation as you, A guy." Out of the corner of his eyes he saw Douxies eyes widen for a moment but he pretended not to notice.
(But his translucent skin made me shiver
Deep within my bones..)
"When are we going to actually say who we like?!" Douxie said laughing and Jim started giggling too. "Thats a great question." Jim said as he calmed down.
"How about on three? Instead of just standing here awkwardly talking about who we like?" Douxie asked after he himself calmed down.
(It was a pale white horse....)
"Yeah," Jim confirmed and they started to count at the same time. "1, 2, 3..." "I like you!" Jims mouth hung open for a moment as they both took in what the other said. "Y-You like me?" Douxie asked awkwardly.
"Yeah.. And you like me?!" Jim stammered. "Yeah..." Douxie smiled at Jim.
(With a crooked smile..)
"Uhm... What do we do now..?" Douxie asked after a few moments of silence. "I don't kno-" Jim was interrupted by Douxie kissing him. And for a few moments they just stood there, kissing eachother.
(And I knew it was my time..)
After a few minutes they broke apart and they were both blushing alot. Douxie smiled at Jim before asking, "So... Does this mean we're dating now? Cause I don't really know.." Jim laughed for a moment before saying..
(It was a raging storm..)
.."Yeah, I guess so." He smiled and looked off at Arcadia. "Okay, Oh fuzzbuckets! What are we gonna tell Archie and Fireheart?!" Douxie exclaimed and Jim laughed. "I have absolutely no idea, other than that..." Jim looked back towards Douxie.
(Of a foreign war..)
"What?" Douxie asked confusion in his voice. "I love you." Jim said. "I love you too, Jim." Douxie said as he kissed Jim again.
(And a Face i've seen before..)
