Work Text:

Luffy had been out running errands on a sunny day in the bustling city. He had finished his shopping and was heading back to his apartment building when he decided to take the elevator instead of climbing the stairs. As he stepped inside and pressed the button for his floor, the elevator suddenly jolted and came to a halt between two floors.

"Whoa! What just happened?" Luffy exclaimed, his eyes widening as he looked around the small, enclosed space.

He pressed the emergency button, but nothing happened. He was stuck.

Panicking a little, Luffy took out his phone and dialed the emergency number for the Fire Department. After explaining his situation, he anxiously waited for help to arrive.

It wasn't long before the sound of sirens reached Luffy's ears, and soon, the elevator doors were pried open by a group of firefighters. Luffy couldn't help but sigh in relief as he was helped out of the elevator.

"Thanks, guys!" Luffy said with a grin, feeling grateful for their quick response.

As he looked around at the firefighters, one of them caught his eye. He was tall, about the same height as Luffy's boyfriend, Sanji. But it wasn't just his height that drew Luffy's attention. This firefighter had tan, kissed skin, striking green hair, and beautiful, dark black eyes that seemed to pierce right through him. He had a strong and commanding presence.

Luffy couldn't stop staring, his gaze fixed on the handsome firefighter. After a moment, he gathered his courage and approached him.

"Hey there! Thanks for saving me," Luffy said, flashing a friendly smile. "What's your name?"

The firefighter turned to him, his gaze meeting Luffy's. "I'm Roronoa Zoro," he replied, his voice steady and strong.

Luffy was instantly captivated. He had never seen anyone so attractive in his life. He wanted to keep talking to Zoro, but he knew he had to call Sanji and let him know he was okay.

Luffy stepped aside and pulled out his phone, dialing Sanji's number. As the call connected, he couldn't contain his excitement.

"Sanji! You won't believe what just happened!" Luffy exclaimed.

Sanji's voice came through the receiver. "What's up, Luffy? Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I got stuck in an elevator, but the firefighters rescued me!" Luffy replied, his eyes still drifting back to Zoro.

"That's a relief," Sanji said, his tone softening with concern. "Is there anything else, Luffy?"

Luffy hesitated for a moment, then couldn't resist. "Sanji, you wouldn't believe how hot one of the firefighters is! He's tall, with tan skin, green hair, and these amazing dark eyes. His name's Zoro!"

Sanji chuckled on the other end of the line. "Sounds like quite the looker. But you know, you're my man, Luffy."

Luffy blushed but continued, "I can't help it, Sanji. He's just so handsome. I wish you could see him!"

Sanji laughed again, clearly not bothered. "It's okay, Luffy. You're allowed to appreciate beauty. Just remember who you're going home to."

Luffy smiled, feeling reassured by Sanji's understanding. "Yeah, you're right, Sanji. I'll see you soon."

Just as he ended the call, Zoro approached him again. "You look cute when you're blushing," Zoro said casually before walking away.

Luffy stood there, stunned by the compliment. He watched Zoro's retreating figure, his heart racing. Then, with a goofy grin on his face, he turned and headed home to his loving boyfriend, Sanji, with a newfound appreciation for the handsome firefighter who had briefly entered his life.
