Hyrule, a vast kingdom filled with rich history.
Tales of Hero’s, gods, great battles and good versus evil fill the textbooks of students and scholars. One legend in particular has been told many times before. Every one hundred years, the goddess, Hylia, will reincarnate as Hyrules princess, and every one hundred years, a hero shall rise to fight the demon king, the one they call Ganondorf, the male gerudo born every hundred years
But it has been years since the last reincarnation. Without the hero and the goddess princess to protect the land, Hyrule went into chaos. The second hyrulian civil war began and ended, with King Luzall Rizalph Hyrule and his queen, Eral, reigned victorious against the rebel forces. A new industrial age was brought upon by this victory caused a new golden era for Hyrule. But when Hilda, the daughter of the King and his favorite concubine was not the reincarnate, tensions rose between the kingdoms. Especially the Gerudos, whose new king was already reigning.
Then suddenly, Eral gave birth to Zelda, the goddess princess. The kingdom celebrated her birth, but the festivities were not long lasting.
The Gerudos suddenly attacked. Wanting to kill the baby princess, they struck without warning, breaking the treaty signed over 30 years before hand. So I’m swift action, the princess was taken to a small Shiekah village, Kakariko village, to live in hiding, away from the worlds eyes, and and the Gerudos wave length.
The Gerudos have been training for years, not only for the day they strike back, but for the arrival for the hero, which many now think will never return. King Ganondorf trained his heir, Gaytari, to know every type of battle in the books. They even made peace with there former enemy, the Yiga Clan.
But the Hero never showed up.
Now stories of the goddess are nothing but a myth, a thing of legend. But it seems that now, there may be a new hero, ready to fight the demon king….

Chapter Text
Just outside the boundaries of Hyrule, there is a huge thick forest, it rains often in the area. So there a lot of mud, in one mud puddle, there lays a young, tanned Hyrulian man, who appears to be waking up from a nap.
Link arose from his deep slumber. It was dangerous for him to have slept out and the open like he did, but he had no other choice. His long dark golden hair fell to his shoulders as he stood up. His eyes were as blue as the rain, and they looked like the deep sea under the early morning Hyrule sun. He was covered head to toe in mud and dirty water. He yawned and stretched as he looked around of a river or a pond to bathe in. “Guess I’m going back.”
Link grabbed his bag and began to walk toward the edge of the forest. He had remembered a river that he had passed on his way into the forest. He hoped the water would at least be clean. He took of his dark blue tunic and brown boots, followed by his shabby looking pants. He was somewhat toned due to running around and being active outside, but was a bit malnourished looking due to the fact that he eats so scarcely, being a nomad, meals don’t come easy. He had freckles across his face, arms and legs. He was tan by hyrulian standards due to being outside so much. He stepped into the cold river bank.
Unbeknownst to Link, someone was watching him. A small, green ball of light. A fairy. She watched as They took a small rock and crushed it, then rub the charcoal into their hair and onto his body. He looked up a good few times to make sure he was not being stalked by monsters or other foes. She was quiet as mouse as she observed him. Once he got out, she saw that he had a jar. She froze up, unable to fly. The next thing she knew, she was captured
“Gotcha!” He shouted, scaring of the birds in the tree above them. She banged against the walls of the glass jar she was stuck in
“Wait! Wait!” She struggled against the lid of the jar as she tried to get out. “Oh hush up!” Link looked irritated “I’m not going to hurt you, you’ll be out of here pretty soon.”
“What are you going to do with me?”
“Your a fairy, you are used to heal, I am going to use you to heal if I get hurt.”
“But wait! I have something to tell you! Will you let me go
“No!”
Trivi continued to bang against the glass as Link slowly put her glass jar prison into his bag. “WAIT!” She screamed. Link had no idea that fairies could be that loud. He dropped the bottle in shock, it broke on impact, as it was rather fragile “Shit.” He groaned as the fairy flew up.
“Thank you Hylia!” She celebrated her freedom from her short lived capture. “Okay! So can I tell you now?” While fairies don’t have a face that hylians can perceive, Link thought that she looked just like and eager puppy. “Fine. Go ahead.”
“So Link-wait, what’s your last name?”
“Lossaplh, it’s Lossaplh”
“Alright, Link Lossaplh. I imagine you know the legend of the hero and the reincarnation of the goddess, right?”
“Yeah, it’s not like it’s not crammed down hyrules children’s throats.”
“Are you always this rude? Anyway, as I was saying, the demon king has reincarnated, the goddess has reincarnated.”
“I know, princess Hilda.”
“Are you stupid? it’s not princess Hilda!”
“Wait really?”
“YES! Hylia I know you needed a hero but why’d you make him so dense?”
“Wait, hero, what the Dark World are you talking about?”
“I guess I should cut to the chase, Link whatever-you-middle-name-is-“
“It’s Juzzin.”
“Stop interrupting me!” She flew around frustratedly as she continued to explain
“You are the reincarnated hero of hyrule.”
Silence
“Your joking.”
“Nope!” She seemed very proud of herself for finally telling him “I’ve been watching you since you stepped foot in the forest, I was sent to come find you buy the great deku tree-“
“Wait, you watched me bathe?”
“I mean, your still naked.”
Link quickly rummaged through his bag to pull out a green tunic, a pair of dark blue pants, and a mossy green cloak. He quickly threw the tunic above his head and the pants onto his legs.
“Sorry about that, please continue.”
“The Great Deku Tree sent me to find the hero. He told me exactly what you look like and where to find you, and I did!” She was glowing with joy “And I did it! I’m so proud of myself!” Link rolled his eyes. “So your telling me, some magical talking tree told you to come find me because I’m some legendary hero, right?” “Exactly! Now come on!” Link was confused. How could this be true, the legend of the hero is a children’s story, he heard it all the time from his grandma, he couldn’t be the hero. The story isn’t real, right?
“Where are we going?” He ran behind the green ball with wings “To find the princess of course, she lives in Kakoriko village! Now stop being so slow and come on!” Link rushed close behind the fairy. It didn’t take them to long to get to village, as it was only behind some hills outside of the forest.
“Here we are!” Before the two of them, there was a cottage. It was away from the rest of the village, up on a high hill. There was small patch of apple trees behind the house. It was small, it probably only had four rooms. “Well,” Trivi said, “Time to get in!”
She flew behind the house, Link in close pursuit. She flew into the window. “Come on!” Link was confused “You want me to climb into this random houses window?” “Yes, now come on!” Link grabbed the ledge of the window. He hoisted his legs against the walls of the house and proceeded to climb up into the window. He felt a platform beneath him as he climbed inside.
Crush
”Oh no.” He thought. The brown wooden door opened, standing in the doorway was a tall, skinny girl with a large nose. She had blonde hair with a red hue, it complemented her peach skin. Her arms were long and stick like. She had a long face with a wide mouth. She had her mouth open, revealing a gap between her front teeth. Her eyes were green like a pond, and her eyelashes were pale and long. She was wearing typical sheikah clothing, a beige colored kimono style shirt, blue puffy pants, and red slip on shoes. But she did not have the typical white hair and red eyes. “Must be a hylian” link thought
“What are you doing?!” She shouted

Chapter Text
“Uhm…” Link looked into her angry face. He couldn’t come up with a reason of why he was standing on her newly destroyed shelf. He looked down to see what looks to be a shattered pot, some ruppe’s where laying on the floor. He was panicking to say the least.
“Oh my god!” She shouted “My Ruppe’s! My jar! You were going to steal from me, weren’t you?” Link look dumbfounded “No! Why would I want to steal from you?” Zelda looked both angry and confused “Because I have all of this stuff!”
Link looked around the room. There were exotic looking items. Like a old looking spear, a series of clay pots, a decorated bow and arrow set on the wall, and thousands of books on various subjects, with titles like “The Last Great Hyrule dynasty: the era of rebirth” and “The life and Times of the Twilight Queen”
“What do you mean, all this stuff? It’s junk!”
The girl gave him a infuriated look “Junk? Junk! This room is filled with ancient artifacts from across the world!” She was pacing angrily around the room as her face tensed “The value isn’t just monetary but historical!” She looked at him, dead in the eye “Something that an absolute idiot like you wouldn’t know.”
Links face went from confusion to anger “Hey, you don’t even know me. How could you know I’m an idiot?” She looked back out him “Well judging by the fact that came through the window, not to rob me, knowing that I definitely have a door you could have knocked on! Now get down!”
Link hoped off the shelf. Trivi followed him in to the room. He crushed the rupee’s on the floor as he landed
The girl looked even more angry “Well now what.” Link asked sarcastically “My ruppes you fool! You just crushed them! That money was going to help me get out of here!” Link was already upset, but once he realized what he had done, he felt bad “Sorry.”
That just made her madder “Sorry, that’s it?” She walked toward him, looking like she was about to hit him. Before she could, the fairy got in the way “Wait! Wait!” The fairy flew over to the maiden “What's your name, mam’m?” Zelda adjusted herself “Zelda, Zelda Zorel, daughter of Zorel Geira.”
Link asked “Why is your dads first name your last name?” She looked at him like a child she was reprimanding “Shekiahs make there fathers first name their last name, every civilized person knows that.” Link looked at her with sarcasm written all over his face “Well let’s just say I’m not the most civilized man alive, okay princess.” Zelda looked at him with booth a flustered and annoyed face “I am NOT a princess!” Trivi let out an annoyed sigh as the two hyilians argued “Alright! Shut up!” She shouted, the two stoped there bickering immediately, in shock that such a little fairy could have such a big voice.
“We will make it up to you!” She declared. “How,”said Zelda “you and I both know your broke Trivi.” Link looked at the both of them. “Wait, you two know each other?”
“Yes” said Trivi “How do you think I knew were to find her.”
“So she already knows about her “Destiny” or what every?”
“Yes.” She said “And it’s not some “Destiny” it’s the fate of the world!”
Then all of a sudden, a large call came out from outside, Zelda ran pass Link “Who are they?” The house was surrounded by by people in red body suits, with white masks. The masks had a strange eye symbol on them. Each of them were carrying a different small weapon. Link had a panicked expression “Let’s just say they don’t like me, and now we need to run.”
Link grabbed her by the wrist and ran out of the house. The Yiga clan was already surrounding the village. They ran to the foot of the village. “Wait!” She shouted with the realization of what was happening “My father! He’s still their!” Link looked back at her “Theirs no time!”
As they ran through the woods, tears were flowing down Zelda’s face. “Oh stop crying, your going to get us found.” Trivi glared at him, then floated back to Zelda “It’s going to be okay, just try to calm down.” The mid afternoon rain was screeching with thunder. The wind ran through the trees, knocking a few branches down with it.
Zelda looks to the left, trying to hide her crying face from Links gaze. She thought that Link was a mean, uncultured man who didn’t care about feelings, but she didn’t want Link to think poorly of her, as she cared quite deeply about others perception of her, while she would never say it aloud. Link didn’t want to be mean to her, but he was stressed and confused, plus she was the one who started being rude in the first place, so he was only acting in defense for his pride.
While Zelda was looking on her left side, she saw a
Man who looked injured “Oh you poor thing!” She said as she walked towards him “Zelda, no.” Link looked over at her, but it was already to late.
“Why thank you miss! Your kindness is a great quality to have, it’s a shame what I have to do now though.” Zelda was very confused Link muttered underneath his breath “Goddess Dammit.”
“Your sacrifice will be worth it! In service on the demon king, Ganondorf!”

Chapter Text
The man suddenly disappeared, then returned in a new outfit. A red bodysuit, with a pale white mask. On the mask there was a sheikah symbol, a red eye with tear coming out of it. The man’s hair was tied in a spiky black ponytail. He had a long sword with him. “You have challenged a Yiga Soilder, so now you will die!” He laughed like a maniac
“Ah!” Zelda jumped back as the Yiga meme we lunged at her. She fell into the dark green grass below her. Link stepped in front of her, his sword in hand. Trivi flew to help her up. The Yiga soldier darted at Link with brute strength, almost knocking Link over onto the injured maiden, who had cut her hand on a branch.
“A strong one, aren’t you boy?”
Link planted his feet into the dirt “Eh, I ain’t to shabby, definitely better than a coward who tricks innocent girls though.”
While you couldn’t see it, the solider was angered by Links comments “Why you little-“
Before Link could realize, the Yiga clan member had jumped up onto a tree, then pounced onto Link. He was able to stop him with his shield than slash back at the man, knocking himself back onto Zelda in the process.
“Hahaha!” The Yiga clan members looked down upon the both of them, “I’ve won! Haha!” Link looked over to his sword, which was too far away for him to grab now.
Link looked over to the frightened Zelda “This is your fault.”
“What do you mean this is my fault?”
“If you had just listened!”
“I was just trying to be nice, can’t I just be nice?”
“Well your niceness is about to get us killed!”
While to two argued, they did not pay attention to the trees which were violently rustling. The Soilder looked up to see someone come flying at him “Yaaaaaa!” Shouted the large man with dark skin a flaming red hair. He was very muscular, but not exactly a beast. He had on very fine jewelry, and his hair was done very nicely. He also had on two gauntlets that were made of gold. The two teens looked up to see that the Yiga had just to a swift punch in the face by their odd savior. The Yiga managed to get up despite the insane recoil from the punch. He ran off, limping as he went.
“Wow.” Zelda looked up with relief “Thank you-“ she stopped mid sentence “Who are you exactly?”
“My names Gayviri, pleasure to make your acquaintance, Ms?”
“Zelda, and this is,” She looked at Link “I don’t believe I got your name?”
“Link”
“Well it’s nice to have met you all, see ya!” He began to walk away
“Wait!” Shouted Trivi “We need you!” Gayviri paused, “You need me, for what?” The tall gerudo man looked very confused
“You’re the patron of the triforce of courage!” She, once again, looked very proud to have told him
“What are you taking about, that’s my Father, King Ganondorf?”
…..
“So your telling me,” Link was sitting above the fire the two had started “Your the son of King Ganondorf, the leader of the Gerudo, and you got kicked out cause your dad saw you as competition for his regime and a threat to your twin sister, so he kicked you out, and you’ve just been traveling around Hyrule for-“
“Two months” replied Gayviri “And you basically summed it up, that’s why I’m out here, I saw some commotion coming from Kakoriko and thought I’d check it out.”
“I’m confused about one thing” Zelda said “If your father is the male born every one hundred years, why are you a male?”
“Oh, um.” Gayviri looked down, kind of blushing “Well,” he lifted up his cropped chest armor, under which there were purple scars underneath “I’m trans.”
“Oh, those are cool scars.” Link said. Gayviri smiled “Thanks!” He smiled as he put his chest armor back on.
“Well!” Trivi flew up “Now that I’ve managed to gather you all, I can finally tell you all why I brought you all together, and in such a short amount of time too.”
Link looked over to her “Well tell us!”
