It's the smell of vanilla and renjun’s shampoo for jisung.
Not that he's one of those freaks that keeps sniffing his hyung don't get him wrong, but renjun always calms him down whenever he needs him to. If the way he smells has something to do with it too, nobody needs to know.
Jisung looks at renjun drying his hair through his eyelids. He looks so soft and...pretty. Everyone uses that word to describe him but really, renjun’s simply pretty and there's no better word for it.
He shakes his head to get rid of all the thoughts that shouldn't be there. It's going to be their movie night and he can't afford having his heart pounding that hard out of his chest that soon. He has the whole night to question his feelings for his hyung. Not that there's anything wrong with lo-liking renjun, it's just that renjun is his safe place, the person he can trust the most, renjun is his person and he wants to keep it that way...as long as he can...
"What are we watching jisungie?"
jisung looks up and follows renjun with his eyes while he walks to the bed and gets under the blanket "I was thinking frozen? I mean I know you've been wanting to rewatch it so I thought-" renjun pinches his cheek and giggles "is that what you want to watch too?"
Jisung blushes a little bit and nods.
They're half into the movie that renjun's phone buzzes. He peeks at it and chuckles "it's donghyuck." He starts responding to the texts. Jisung frowns a little. Of course it's donghyuck. It's common knowledge, the way all dreamies love and adore renjun. How they shower him with love and would do anything to have his attention, as they should, jisung thinks. Nobody deserves to be loved as much as renjun does. He's like a Lily in jisung's eyes, he feels the urge to constantly take care of him and make sure he's alright. Or one of those snowflakes that if you touch too harshly, would break.
Is it too much if he wants renjun to himself for just a couple of hours? He always watches him from a far anyway...
"hey let's take a pic he keeps asking what we're doing." renjun slides down the bed and leans his head to jisung's. Jisung can feel his face getting warmer but he prays renjun wouldn't notice.
They've been living together for years and he still blushes whenever he has renjun in his proximity, this however hasn't changed his mind about living with his roommate. Maybe he doesn't mind the warmth and redness on his cheeks when the reason is renjun. Maybe he likes it when his heart skips a beat or two if he looks at renjun a little too long. Maybe he likes the fact that renjun is the one he keeps falling in love with...
Renjun moves his arm to get the right angle. Jisung looks at him fondly "let me take it hyung." renjun glances at jisung and hands him the phone. Jisung raises his arm and waits for renjun to get comfortable beside him.
Renjun’s looking at the camera and jisung is looking at renjun on the screen. His eyes are shining. He gets why fans go crazy over him. He would too.
He does too.
Renjun smiles and looks at their photo "what if I just keep it to myself." He mumbles and text his friend:
- stop bothering me I'm watching a movie with him
+ nice excuse huang. okay go back to your bf.
Jisung sees that. Maybe he shouldn't have but he does and chuckles. Their hair is literally intertwined because of how close they are. He sees how renjun’s ears are turning red, how his pupils shake a little and how his lips are shiny from the lip balm he put on before he came to bed.
"Should I press play hyung?"
Renjun turns off his phone quickly and snuggles closer to him "yup let's go"
Renjun watches the movie and jisung watches him watching it.
It's all he needs right now, it's all he's ever needed.
And if renjun’s heart is filled with butterflies, jisung doesn't need to know that either.
Cause it's always been jisung for him too...
