Nymeia Speaks With Her Champion

Summary:

I don't like how little importance your patron god choice has in the Endwalker alliance raids, so I made an expanded conversation with my character's patron, Nymeia. It's vague enough to apply to most players who chose Nymeia as long as you're a weaver. There's no plot it's just her talking to WoL

Work Text:

"Well, if it isn’t the Warrior of Light! How fortunate I am to finally speak with my dearest adherent. I’m sorry if I gave you a shock by joining my brother in battle, but I couldn’t help myself. We’ve always done everything together, he and I. Such a joy it was to face you and yours! It was that self same determination which has allowed you to defy all odds, time and time again. Ah, but look at me, speaking to you so plainly. I know so much about you, yet to you I must seem a mystery. Yes, I know you quite well indeed. I’ve been watching you since your very first moon. I could read it in the stars that you were destined for great things, and that one day you would begin to honor my name. If only the others knew! How jealous they would have been, especially my brother. Thank you for choosing to believe in me, for I most certainly believe in you. I can hardly imagine a greater champion. It is because of you that this Star still has a fate to divine, after all. And your weaving! Oh, the beautiful things you’ve made, rival to none other than myself.

I’m so proud of you. I’ve been alongside you, every step of the way. Have you thought you felt my presence before? It wasn’t just in your head. It was me, watching you go on your grand adventures and watching as you weaved magnificent tapestries. Ah, but I shan’t get too sentimental. I wish we could speak longer, perhaps share stories and weave something beautiful together, but I know you have things to do, things to craft, people to see. Don’t try to argue; I’ve seen it in the stars. Just remember to pray to me. I hear every word. Tell me of your exploits, your struggles, your thoughts and feelings, for I love you as a mother loves her child, and being your patron has been one of my highest honors."
