The past few nights Naruto has wanted to stargaze.
Unfortunately, there were always clouds these past couple days. So on a clear night like tonight of course Naruto comes barreling to my door, excitedly pulling me since I was waiting for him by the door. “C’mon Sasuke, it’s finally clear out! I can’t wait to show you the spot I’ve picked out!” I smiled as he pulled me along. After a while we were at a clearing of grass often used for picnics. Naruto laid down and patted the space next to him “C’mon Sasuke, let's see if we can spot some constellations.” I laid next to him and he started to point out some constellations and I smiled as he talked and talked about each of their meanings.
“See that brightest star right there?” he pointed to it “That's actually a planet.” I nodded “Really? Wow, that's pretty cool.” Naruto nodded and then talked more and more about the stars he knew as the night got darker and clearer. Suddenly a shooting star streaked across the sky. I remember always wanting to see one and always wanting to make a wish. So I closed my eyes and made a wish, and then when I opened them again it was gone. “Did you see that shooting star Naruto?” He nodded and said “Yup! I even made a wish, how about you?” I nodded, “Yeah, I did.” “What did you wish for?”
I scoffed at that “If I tell you it won’t come true.” Naruto smiled, “I’ll tell you what I wished for if you tell me what you wish for.” I sighed and looked away from him as I said “I wished that you'd like me back.” Naruto chuckled and I blushed. “Well I’ll show you my wish if you look back at me.” I looked at him and he kissed me. I blushed and kissed him back, and then Naruto smiled and said “My wish was for your wish to come true, It’s a good thing that I’ve liked you for a while more than my friend.” I smiled and said “I’m glad you feel the same.”
We smiled and held each other under the stars.
