5 years ago, the underworld of Belobog was sealed. But before then.. 2 young children’s destinies were all about to change for the better.
“Hehehe, Let’s play Bronya! You too Seele!” Sumi called.
“Sure thing Sumi, come on Bronya!” Seele replied.
“Hey wait.. I see someone in the distance!” Bronya called out.
“Huh, Madam Cocolia? What are you doing here in our orphanage?” The caretaker asked.
“I have come on behalf of the Architects, it is time to choose the next child to become the supreme guardian.” She responded.
“Ahh let’s see, you both look like lovely children.. You both shall live with me.”
“H-huh? Wait so Seele is not joining us?” Sumi asked.
“Unfortunately she will not. Come along now.”
“Goodbye Seele.. may we meet again someday.” Sumi and Bronya called out as they departed from the orphanage.
“Welcome to the Overworld.” Cocolia introduced the young duo.
“Whoa.. what is that blue thing?” Sumi asked
“I heard that’s the sky… I read about it in books back in the Underworld.” Bronya responded.
Sumi felt the breeze, the view of the sky, the hope of a new dawn.
During the time, Sumi got acquainted with life on the overworld.
“Why can’t you be just like Bronya? And she’s far more talented than you!” Cocolia yelled at Sumi.
“I-I’m so sorry! I tried my best as well..” Sumi sobbed, trying to hold back their tears.
“Mother! You shouldn’t have put them under so much pressure! Just take a break and I’ll take care of them.” Bronya reassured Cocolia.
“I’m so sorry Bronya, I did all I could to assure
that I could be the Supreme Guardian but you are just way better than I ever could.”
“Don’t worry, someday you’ll find your own path. I promise you won’t regret it.”
2 months later
“Madam Bronya, and Sumi it is my honor to serve you both.” Gepard bowed right in front of them.
“No need for formalities, Gepard. We’re all cousins after all!” Sumi replied.
“Anyways Gepard, how’s Lynxy doing?” Bronya asked.
“Lynx is doing quite fine as well.” He says.
“That’s awesome!” Sumi responds.
To see the sky, to feel the warmth of the new dawn, to live for another tomorrow, that is the future that Sumi wishes. But the flow of time is not constant, and their story has just begun.
