Work Text:
Chuuya winced when the door slammed shut. His ears were ringing, his body was in pain. He tried to force himself up, but his legs gave out under him. Slamming his knees into the ground.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
He should have seen this coming; this is all that he is good for, being a weapon. First, it was the stupid government that wanted to use him and experimented on him. Then the sheep, who only used him for their good. His eyes closed slightly when he thought of the Mafia.
The first place he felt like he belonged, was to have something that felt like family. Then Dazai disappeared. He glanced upwards at the ceiling, wishing that he could just have found his partner again. That they could just pretend that
The guy’s words still rang in his ears, that no one would be able to find him. This was stupid. He knew that the only way out was by using corruption, but at the same time, he couldn’t bring himself to do it yet.
Maybe just maybe the Mafia would look for him. Maybe they would care to get him back, even if it is just to have their weapon back.
The days passed slowly as Chuuya lost his hope, that anyone would want him back, slowly losing the will to live, he ignored his captures, ignored the food and water they bought him. Just wasting away.
He blinked rapidly when the door suddenly opened, trying to get his sight to work with him, but everything was just a blur.
“My, my, should have known my dog would get into trouble.” The voice was almost like a soothing balm to his burned soul. A warm hand gently runs through his hair.
Blue eyes closed with a snap as the last bit of strength left his body. Dazai only snapped his tongue, as he picked Chuuya up.
It would be better if Chuuya just stayed with him, then he would be sure that Chuuya is kept safe, just like a good master should do. Dazai smiled slightly at the thought as he exited the fallen building, whistling slightly as he saw the spilt blood.
