“Cap, we need to talk. Now.” I said as soon as I spotted Steve walking down the hallway, heading for the training room. “Yeah, sure, what did you want to talk about, Shadow?” He turned around, facing me. “What did you do to Tony?” immediately he replied “I don’t know what you're talking about” “Don't play dumb, Rodgers. You know exactly what I’m talking about " "I didn’t do anything, Shadow” he insisted. I peered at him closely, trying to see if he was lying. After a few minutes I stepped back, I could see that he wasn't lying. “Ok if you didn’t do something to Tony, then who did?” I thought out loud. Rodgers shrugged then said, “Maybe it was Wanda, you know she does not like him” “True, but I thought you talked to her about her grudge against Tony” confusedly I asked. “I did, she must have not listened” he shrugged again. I rolled my eyes, “You had one job, Rodgers!” I said as I turned around and walked off to go look for Wanda. I heard him splutter indignantly, trying to find something that would help him win back some dignity, before he just sighed and watched me walk away.
