Work Text:
Foolish was sitting on top of his titan build. A slow yet bit eventful day, he hung out with other islanders a while ago but everyone eventually left to go do their own thing. Lucky for foolish though, whenever he needed a distraction or an excuse to not work on his titan there was always someone he could go annoy or they could come annoy him! You could imagine that foolish preferred one of those options over the other. He stood up and wiped a warm line of sweat off his forehead, and coughed out a hot breath he didn't realize was stuck in his throat. Maybe being in the blistering heat for hours wasn't good for someone's health, but foolish wasn't just any person. Foolish is a demigod. The god part being his totem half, though with him he wasn't born from a human and a god. He was simply manifested into existence, which seems pretty awesome for the most part but when you meet someone and they ask you all that jazz about your past and parents, saying you were a gift to the world from the gods kinda makes you sound like a dick. Maybe his shark half contradicted the totem half that could handle the heat. That kinda evens it out though doesn't it? Although he should know a lot about his own body he really doesn't, never had time to anyways. His immortal friend did though, he examined everyone. strangely though foolishs unique anatomy could have sparked that interest. “Foolish your burning.” A voice spoke up from behind, that's him. Foolish turned around to face Bad who was too close for comfort, “Personal space dude-” Foolish backed a bit away from Bad, though he simply followed after him. “I’ve told you that your shark half requires its moisture, its wetness! You're drying yourself out.” Bad scolded wagging his finger in his friend's face. Foolish simply rolled his eyes and smirked a bit at the silly wording. “Okay well, I can’t be wet right now because I'm building!” He voiced, walking past bad he went towards the neck of the giant construction. Putting his hands on his hips he looked at the dirt, though it was difficult with his increasing blurring vision. Bad crossed his arms and looked over to Foolish, his eyes widened seeing visual steam start floating off of Foolish. He was burning up, bad. “Foolish you're literally being burnt alive! You need to rest for like- a week at least!” Bad ran over, worried if he touched him if it would sting him. “I- huh…? N-no.. shut up. I’m fine…” Foolish muttered, his eyes slowly shutting. Bad wasn't gonna take no for an answer right now though, He shook his head before reaching his hand to his chest then reaching it out again, opening his inventory. He took out a water bucket he had on him, “This might hurt…” Bad warned before he dumped the water over Foolish. Foolish couldn't speak anymore, he simply watched as the water trailed down his forearms, to his fingers and onto the now wet dirt under him. Bad put the water bucket back in his inventory, he winced watching as the water on him began steaming off of him as well.”Alright thats it. I’m taking you to your base.” Bad wasn't sure if Foolish could walk. “Don't…touch me.” was all Foolish could say before he collapsed to his knees, panting.

Bad slowly pulled the wet blanket over his stomach. They were now inside of Foolishs home, due to the massive dragon build on the outside it gave the inside a lot of shade. Resulting in the home often being cold. Foolish laid on the floor beside his bed; The floor was cold and bad didnt wanna hear Foolish yelling at him after for making his bed wet, even if it would help. After Foolish blacked out at the titan, Bad carried him on his back all the way to his base. Leo was awake and worried for her pa, He reassured her that all he needed was rest, after this she ended up leaving to spend time with her hermanitoier. It felt weird to be left alone with Foolish. They are often alone together but it's not often that the other is sick, considering both of their backgrounds. As much as Bad wanted to deny it he really did care for Foolish, They both had their back and forth banter. But at the end of the day they both knew they cared a lot for one another. Bad put a small towel into a bowl of ice water, proceeding to wring it out and then place it on Foolishs forehead. He couldn't help but stare at his resting friend, he looked calm yet tense. His eyebrows were scrunched and his face didn't look at peace. Bad was not one for totally impulsive decisions, especially weird ones but he couldn't stop himself before he did it. He leaned down and gave Foolish a quick peck on the cheek. His friend was an attractive fellow and Bad did have small interest in him. Though he knew very well he had a boyfriend, that shouldn't stop the homies from kissing right? It was silence for a bit more before Foolishs eyes flew open, “holy shit I thought I imagined that but you actually just kissed me.” He quickly moved his head to look at Bad better. Bad’s eyes flew wide open before he quickly stood up, tripping over himself a bit. “WHY WERE YOU PRETENDING TO BE ASLEEP!?” was all he could yell out. “WHY DID YOU JUST KISS ME?” Foolish yelled after him, sitting up. Prompting to stand before Bad put his hands on his shoulders, pushing him back down. “You shouldn't stand right now, Lay back down.” Bad choked out, flustered from being caught. Foolish listened to his friend but all whilst laughing in disbelief. “I didn't think you were that type of guy Bad! Not to mention you know I'm taken.” Foolish laughed out, but then slowed down remembering that he was indeed taken. Bad chuckled a bit before turning around, “I'm leaving. You can take care of yourself.” he stood above the elevator, “IT WAS A TOTALLY PLATONIC KISS!” He stated before going down.
