Work Text:
Minho wasn’t the type to kiss and tell, that was a very well known fact. So it wasn’t odd that he would avoid successfully Hyunjin’s and Felix’s questions, being able to change the subject or distract them when they were torturing him about the guy they saw in his company few hours before. He was used to it since both of his friends could be the perfect competition for Gossip Girl, but he was actually running out of his usual tricks, from the “we should choose what to eat” to the “an UFO in Tokyo?” to the final “oh look a cat, I have to take a pic”. Not that the last one was a real excuse, since he couldn’t resist to take a picture of every feline he met, maybe giving them some little pets, but he was running out of storage and he needed some space to take videos at the concert too. So he was turning a little desperate, since the time to go to the arena for the concert was still few hours away and he knew that they would never retreat. He could feel their famelic gazes on his nape when he tried to ignore them, it was only time before they would get the opportunity to distract him enough so that he would answer.
It’s not that he didn’t want to tell them, because his internal fanboy was dying to just scream at the top of his lungs what happened on the plane. But again, he didn’t want to kiss and tell, specially since there was no kiss to talk about. At least not a real kiss, because the tiny pressure of lips on his cheek through the texture of a mask for exactly a second wasn’t a kiss in his vocabulary, especially since he could feel himself wanting more. He sighed deeply, elbows on the table and face between his hands, remembering every single moment of the flight and sensing a tingling sensation in every millimeter of his skin that was touched by the mysterious guy. The fact was that he wasn’t even being good in hiding his thoughts, since every single time he felt the urge to start a speech and uncover the identity of the masked guy, his hand would go around the little quokka keychan attached to his bag. And that would’ve been enough as an answer, if only the other two were attentive enough, or if they didn't just think of it as his usual obsession over the rapper.
Because yeah, the guy he was fanboying about was the same guy that was the basis for the quokka, Jisung aka J.One aka his celebrity crush since forever, and now that he saw those cheeks live (the one on his face, because Minho didn’t want to think about his ass, not yet thank you very much, or he would combust on the spot), the resemblance was there for sure, making him smile softly. He still couldn’t believe they would meet like that, he didn’t even hope he would meet his idol in real life ever, but they even held hands? He was squirming in his seat, was it what they called a meet-cute in the romcoms?
“If you’re going to smile like that all the time, could you at least please tell us who he is?” Hyunjin interrupted his thoughts, sipping on the straw of his Americano, a curious glint in his eyes “Please, please, please!” he then chanted, joined immediately by Felix that almost dropped his own drink to put his hand in a prayer position, trying to convince him to finally talk about his new conquest. Minho just rolled his eyes, this time just lying back on the chair instead of finding an excuse, while thinking for few second, his hand again wrapped again the quokka that was dangling by his side. His eyes went to look outside the cafè they were in, staring at the people that walked in every direction, so similar yet so different from Seoul.
“Hyung.” Felix called him, making him turn his head in the direction of the blond, that smiled warmly as his usual “If you’re uncomfortable with us asking, we’ll let it down.” he offered, and Minho again sighed, not knowing what to do. He wanted to talk, but he didn’t know how to do it, or even if he could. Usually people would have to firm NDA papers in those cases right? Or maybe he was already overthinking the situation, it wasn’t like they did anything. They just flirted, a lot, Minho’s crush for him got worse and he received a little peck on his cheek. That it was all, easy.
“It’s not that I don’t want to talk but it’s… complicated.” he explained and both his friend nodded at his words, to accept it, but it was just a second before Hyunjin, like the gossip lover he was, started to ramble again, excited.
“Ohh, he’s someone important? A president? He’s married? Oh my, a straight guy? Hyung, you should know better than that.” he was obviously mocking him, but at the same time the oldest could see that he was analyzing his reaction to see if he was getting something right “A serial killer? A yakuza maybe? No, he spoke korean, but maybe he’s bilingual? I couldn’t see his face, but from your blush at least I would think he’s handsome.” and then he wriggled his eyebrow. Minho smiled at him in a line, only a little space of the white teeth visible, the tilt of his head perfectly placed to show that innocent facade that actually meant that someone (mostly Hyunjin himself) was risking to be beaten up by him. Luckily with them there was always Felix that interrupted the conversation, saying a question so that he could shut Hyunjin up, knowing how the pink-haired guy was risking his life.
“Do you think you’ll meet him again?” and that was a question that actually left Minho speechless, because he didn’t know, he was still brooding about it because now his phone was burning in his pocket, knowing that a new number was added not long ago. He already took the device from the pocket many times during those hours, opening it as if he was the one waiting for the other to contact him, even if it was dumb because he perfectly knew that Jisung didn’t have his number. So he should’ve been the one to do the first step, though he could admit that Jisung already ran a marathon in coming towards him, but now that little step of sending a single text seemed even harder than to flirt with him (mostly for the fact that he had his eyes closed almost all the time). Maybe he could send it with closed eyes? Maybe it would be better not, he already did many typing errors with them wide open, he couldn’t even think how bad he would be with them closed.
“Didn’t he leave your number?” asked again the australian, taking a bite of the chocolate muffin he ordered before, crumbs collecting on his chin messily, while Hyunjin took a piece of it from his hands, leaving the youngest of the trio insulted by his action, pretending to hide the sweet to not let him steal it anymore, making the pink-haired pout, accusing him of his greed and being ignored “I mean, could you send him a text, no?”
Minho nodded slowly, sighing again and leaning on one hand, gaze still on the crowd outside again, as if he had looked carefully enough, he would have been able to recognize the blue haired guy among the people that walked in the street in front of him.
“He told me to contact him after the concert though.” he told them, drumming his fingers on the table following the tune of the jpop song that was in the background, though he couldn’t understand a single word of it. He resisted the urge to pout himself, not sure if he could wait that much, even if there were only few hours in front of him before the fatidic moment. His skin was prickling by the excitement he was feeling, too much time and too little at the same time, specially since he actually met J.One only for few minutes. It had been easy to talk with Jisung, even to flirt with him, but would he be able to do the same with the rapper without fainting now that he discovered his identity? He wasn’t that confident in his skills.
“Did he say only after the concert?” Felix put the doubt in his mind, taking another bite of the muffin and then closing neatly the paper that was around the sweet to not dirt his hands, forming a little boat with it and putting in front of Hyunjin as a gift, that giggled playing with it.
“No, but-”
“It’s not like he put a gun at your temple to not contact him before the designated time, hyung.” Hyunjin complained, wisely for once, even if his well-advised words was ruined both by the fact that he was still playing with the boat and the dramatic expression that came after “Oh my, hyung, does he just want only sex from you? I said that, he’s a straight fuck boy.” and he hit the table, as if he just had the best deduction of the century, raising his voice too and making some people turn in his direction, because even if there was a barrier language, everyone could understand the word sex in any language. Or at least that was Minho’s theory, and it seemed to be right since few girls in uniform giggled like any highschooler would hearing that conversation. Felix just laughed, not embarassed in the slightlest, while the oldest facepalmed himself, feeling his ears getting really hot for the embarassment, whining about why were they still friends.
“Told you that straight guys are off limits.” answered Hyunjin seriously, nodding too in a way that everyone would have described as cringe, as if he was actually doing something “I mean, I know you don’t want to tell us, but come on, hyung, grow up a little and admit your mistake with the gay-dar.” he was so serious, and Minho really really wanted to slap it out of him, but he didn’t. Just because they were in public.
So he rolled his eyes, hiding the fondness in his actions, before checking the clock that was on the wall in front of him, smiling at the cuteness. It was round and white, with the form of a cat around the glass, the paws arranged as if they were keeping it in place on the feline’s tummy and the tail dangling in sync with the seconds, but silently, so that it wouldn’t create the tick tack that was often used in horror movies. He noticed that it was time to go, so he pointed at it, making the other two turn in that direction before nodding, Hyunjin fast in drinking the last sips of the Americano before opening the lid to put an ice cube in his mouth, complaining that it was cold before giving the empty cup to Felix that went to throw everyone’s garbage, while Minho fixed the chairs of the table. With a bow and a greeting in a crooked japanese, they got out of the cafè, feeling the sun on their skin like an heat wave and already regretting leaving the conditioner that allowed them to survive until then.
“Taz uai ai eit de ais.” mumbled Hyunjin, still with the cube in his mouth, moving from a cheek to the other while they started to talk in the stadio’s direction. Luckily they weren’t that far so just a short walk would’ve taken them to the destination. Minho raised his eyebrow at his friend’s words, while Felix was already in his world, taking selfie while walking and making it the others’ mission to control that he didn’t crush on a pole or get invested by a car.
“I said that I ate the ice to not be hot.” then the pink haired guy stopped a second, a grin on his lips “Well, not too hot, since I’m alr-”
“Don’t you even end that sentence.” the purple haired stopped him, a look of regret on his face while the younger was looking at him smug, since he knew that speech would’ve cringed the oldest, so he hit him softly with his shoulder, taking Felix arm before the youngest could stumble on the concrete for the third time in the few minutes they were walking. The blond thanked him, but he still didn’t take off his eyes from the phones, surely posting those pics on his social media. For a second Minho thought something among the lines of “these kids” and the fact that they were always on their phones, but then he remembered that he was on his phone most of the time too and most important, he wasn’t that old, thank you, actually he wasn’t old at all.
And as a proof of that, he took his phone from his pocket to check if they were going in the right direction, since they checked it before sitting at the cafè but as always, it was better be safe than sorry even if the little crowd with 3racha gadget surely was a clue that they were in the right path. But right when he unlocked the device, focused as he was, he didn’t notice the evil smile on Hyunjin’s face, that in an instant stole the phone from his hands, under Felix’s laugh that seemed to choose that moment to put his own away. Minho’s reflexes were usually good, but since he had to choose between taking the object or to stop Hyunjin from doing it, he didn’t do any of that, losing the opportunity while the younger ran away, even with him after.
“Where is it? Where? Oh okay, last contacts added… It is Jisung?” he paused an instanct, looking at his hyung’s face to see his panicked reaction before chuckling “From your reaction I would say it is.” and he started to type something. Minho was in shame, trying to get his friend and maybe kick his ass, but Felix, usually mediator, blocked him in an hug while laughing, the traitor. They seemed so amused in the situation while the older wanted to bury himself in the japanese ground now, stretching his hands to try to reach the pink-haired but the blond’s squeeze kept him in place. He released him only at the victorious “sent!” screamed by Hyunjin, that did a little jump similar to the one from Mario Bros, before handing it back, leaning to kiss one of his cheek while Felix did the same on the other, laughing together before starting to walk quickly again, as if in a tentative to escape from him. In the meanwhile Minho was fidgeting with the phone, tremoring hands while trying to unlock it again. He needed few tentatives before making it successfully, the text app already open with a new chat and Jisung’s name on it. He cursed under his breath, not noticing how the other two stopped, looking at him carefully, maybe even a little guilty about their actions, but they remained silent, waiting for him to come back. Taking a deep breath, he opened the chat, where just one text was present, the one Hyunjin wrote some seconds before, the rest of the screen was empty if not for the background of his cats sleeping on his parents’ couch.
“Hello, it’s Minho- we met today, hope you don’t mind if I send you this text! I’m going to the concert right now!” he read in a whisper, pausing at every cat emoji Hyunjin used, and it wasn’t that the owner of the phone didn’t use them, because he did, but at the same time he didn’t want them to be in his first conversation with his idol. Then he noticed the last emoji, an heart. A big pink heart with an arrow in it.
Now he really wanted to bury himself from the embarassment, if the cats emojis were a regular in his texts, the hearts weren’t for sure, he used them only in few important occasions, while Hyunjin instead seemed to chat using the colors of the hearts as answers, every one with a specific meaning. And the pink heart with the arrow was the flirting one, so Minho knew what Hyunjin was doing, he only hoped that Jisung didn’t care that much. He groaned, noticing how the text was only sent and not received, so his fingers flew to press the text so that the wall of options could pop out, quickly clicking on “delete it”. Anothe warning pop out, asking if he was sure about that since the text couldn’t be recuperated, and that actually stopped him, humetting his lower lip before closing the app with a sigh, phone in his pocket and starting to walk again. His friends followed him fast, remaining silent for few seconds before the one with the pink hair decided to talk.
“Ehm, hyung.” he reclaimed his attention and Minho calmly nodded in his direction, raising an eyebrow at the other’s worried tone “I didn’t want to- you know, make you uncomfortable. I just thought you needed a little push, sorry.” he said in only a breath, as if he stopped, he wouldn’t be able to go on, keeping his eyes low on the ground, while Felix nodded, agreeing with him. The oldest smiled at that, after blinking confused few times, posing his hands in the others’ hair and shuffling them a little with a chuckle while they protested, trying to escape his grip.
“Don’t worry guys, I could’ve delete it. I actually needed the courage to do that sooner or later.” and he started to walk again, since they stopped to talk “But next time I’ll make sure to make you eat tissues.” he threatened them with a too kind smile to be real, making them shiver with wide open eyes.
They walked for few minutes before arriving in front of the stadium, where there was already a small crowd ready to enter to take their seats. They got in the line, but they waited to take out the tickets on their phones since the gates weren’t open yet. From the actions of the guards and the time, it seemed like they didn’t need to wait too much before being able to get in and sit, luckily, since Minho could start to feel his legs tremoring so much that they could give up every moment from now. The vision was sinking: he was there in Japan with his friends, to see the concert of his dreams and he took a plane to do that (he didn’t die, that was important) and he actually met the man of his dreams too. Maybe the last part was exaggerated but the adrenaline didn’t make him think that clearly, putting a dumb smile on his lips while resisting the urge to just jump from the happiness. Hyunjin and Felix didn’t seem in a better state, swinging from a foot to the other every second, while trying to look at the gate to see if the situation was changing soon. For a second it seemed like they were trying to win a competition over who would faint first.
“So- his name is Jisung? That’s literally the only info we got, and it wasn’t even from you.” Hyunjin seemed to think that risking his own life was better than staying in wait like that, even if Minho’s expression was enough to scare him. The whole look was ruined by his red ears though, even if he slapped his shoulder too.
“Shut up, or I’ll mess you hair again.” he threatened him, raising his hand to pretend he would actually do that, stopping only when his friend shrieked, covering his head with his own hands, eyes fixed on Minho’s as if he could have reflex good enough to stop him. Felix laughed at that, as usual when they bickered.
“Don’t do that, or he’ll cry. He literally changed his outfit around seven times to look good for SpearB.” the blond teased, poking the pink haired guy in the ribs while he tried to complain about it.
“I didn- I mean, yes, I changed my outfit, even if not that many times. But I do it for myself, not for SpearB.” but the blush on his cheeks was proving the exact opposite, making the other two laugh at his cuteness, while they kept to tease him softly. Now that Minho was watching him, Hyunjin looked really good in that pinkish-peach jeans and jacket, with the white shirt under, it was all coordinated to his brighter pink hair, kept still by a band on his forehead and the little low bun that was hidden under it. Even if he kept saying that SpearB didn’t have to do anything about his choice, the abundance of pink his outfit presented was a point not on his favor, since the rapper animal was actually a pink mix between a pig and a bunny. Hyunjin was really a fanboy, the oldest actually found it cute though. Felix instead was more on the black and white, black trousers and a white large shirt with few black details like painted on the texture, with the nice details of few belts that refined everything up. His hair were instead not that much curated, prefering a more natural look. After looking at them, he watched his own outfit, feeling a little underdressed, since he didn’t really came with an outfit in mind for the concert and the nicest fit was a black cardigan with red details, paired with a red checkered trousers. He knew he looked good, he also knew that pair of trousers looked great on his legs and that cardigan left really visible his neck and collarbones, but at the same time he couldn’t not think about the fact that maybe he needed to stay few more moments in front of the mirror to style his hair. He sighed deeply and Felix as usual seemed to catch on his mood, since he whispered a soft “you look good hyung” while hugging him from the back friendly.
“Now that I think about it… Isn’t J.One’s real name Jisung as well?” Hyunjin seemed ready to actually end his life that day, not catching on when to shut up. For a second Minho was actually hoping that his friends were dumber than that, but he couldn’t do that forever, so he froze on the spot, not knowing what to do. He couldn’t overreact, after all, being A Jisung didn’t mean being THE Jisung, but at the same time wasn’t he strange that he met someone with that name while going to see the concert of the already said Jisung? He could feel his own braincells fry in his head, as if trying to find an answer was actually putting on show all his intelligence, but at the end, he just chuckled.
Great, Minho’s brain, just great.
“Y-yeah, what a coincidence.” his voice was tremoring loudly, he couldn’t even understand how he was able to talk, scared for his life, but the other two didn’t seem to notice.
“Aw, hyung, that’s an odd coincidence. Your boyfriend and your husband have the same name.” Felix mocked him.
“I’m not married and I’m sure that holding someone’s hand on a plane doesn’t make him my boyfriend.” the purple haired guy complained, rolling his eyes for the upteenth time that day. Only then he noticed that maybe he just shared a TMI, specially since now both Hyunjin’s and Felix’s eyes were big enough to compete with manga’s by how shocked and excited they were.
“Oh my, you held hands on the plane?” Felix was fanboying, obviously “Now that I think about it, you were holding hands even when you greet us.” and Hyunjin nodded to confirm that.
“You’re too cute, it’s disgusting.” the pink haired guy commented, putting his tongue out to pretend he was gagging at the thought “But how did you hold hands? I mean, you were strangers.”
“I was scared and he proposed to do that.” Minho explained in a whisper, not knowing what to do with his hands and so hiding them in his pockets, gaze low and cheeks red like apples. His friends covered their mouths with their hands, in a shocked expression.
“Aw, he’s a gentleman then.” was Hyunjin’s comment “Maybe he’s not so straight, after all.” and that made the oldest roll his eyes again. 3Racha as a group were kinda private about their lifes outside their music, so he didn’t actually know how they perceived their sexuality, but something about Jisung’s flirting made him think that “straight” wasn’t an option. The line started to move, distracting them from the conversations so they took their tickets out, ready to go in, spark in their body at the thoughts and wide smile that were worth it the sun on their backs.
“Well, now another Jisung will have your attention for a while.” was Felix’s tease, making Minho blush again because how could he tell him that they were the same person? But he stayed silent again, specially since it was already their turn and so they greeted the guards that let them in quickly, so they could move the line again.
The stadium wasn’t huge, but it was still big enough to amaze them, looking around both to watch where their seats were and to stay with their mouth open, astonished. It was still kinda early, people were still finishing to fix the last things, running from a place to another so they would be on the clock. They greeted them with a bow before finally finding their seats in the part of the middle of the stadium, they weren’t very close to the stage, but they had a good enough view of it without having to follow the concert from the big screens at the sides. But the first thought in his mind was that surely Jisung couldn’t see him at all, specially when it would start to get crowded. He shook his head, embarassed by his own thoughts, feeling too much like the Y/N of some fanfiction saved in his old computer, he was too old to do something like that.
He took his phone while he sat down, putting by his feet the bag, his friends chatting by his side about something he wasn’t that interested about, or at least not that much in confront about knowing if he received an answer. The text app seemed to have disappeared from his phone, since his anxiety made him scroll all the pages more than few times, even if he never changed their order in all the years he had that device, but at the end he was able to open it with a click of his tremoring fingers.
Nothing, absolutely nothing. Not even a new text in Jisung’s chat, and actually that made his face burn from the heat, he didn’t know if it was shame or anger though. His eyes were focused on the little check sign that told him how the message was received by the guy, so why didn’t he text him back? Did he read it all wrong maybe?
His free hand went to his mouth, nails ready to be bitten off, he didn’t care how unhealthy it was, but it seemed like somebody did, since his phone started to ring right that moment, making him jump on his seat as if he was electrified, almost dropping the device and attracting his friends’ attention, a questioning look on their faces. Not noticing that, he was able to save the phone, answering not before having a little heart attack reading who was the caller, posing it close to his ear and whispering.
“H-Hi.” was really all you were able to say Minho? Seriously?
“Hyung!” gosh how much he missed that voice, to think that only hours passed since the last time he heard it so close to his ear, live and not from a robotice tune “Are you in the stadium?”
“Y-yeah, we arrived few minutes ago.” he answered then, as nervous as he’s never been, his heartbeat so loud that it was covering the noise made by the people that were entering in the stadium “Where are you?”
“Mh?” was the only thing Jisung said, confusing him, but at the same time he could feel the grin on the other’s face, it didn’t matter that he didn’t know the guy that well, the sensation was the same as when he had his eyes closed, even now he couldn’t see him but he knew what the other’s expression was. And he was right, since the few seconds passed in silence on the line were interrupted by a sudden scream in the audience, where now there was a big enough crowd, all cheering on the person that came out on the stage running by, stopping in the middle and waving cheerfully. The crowd was losing its mind, Minho with it, since the figure was really recognizable, blue hair and whole person uncovered, showing a white shirt that left nothing to imagine about his arms and jeans that seemed to be really tight on his legs. A dream, it was very hard to not let himself lose to his fanboy side and scream with the other people too. Hyunjin seemed already to have lost his pride, screaming at the tops of his lungs and shaking Felix’s shoulders as if he was a banner to wave in the air, the other chuckling while still cheering on the rapper.
The fact was that Minho could hear the cheers from his phone, since Jisung came out of the backstage phone to his ear, call still open even in front of that many people. For some reasons, Minho felt embarassed about that, sheepish while he thought that the person Jisung was calling right now was him.
“Can you see me now?” the rapper talked, low voice that made him shiver, while humetting his lips. He couldn’t see his expression but the smugness was evident in his tone, as if he knew the effect he was having on the older in that situation. In that confused moment, he nodded as an answer, before remembering that he was one among hundreds of people, so he quickly added a verbal response.
“Good. I can’t though, can you tell me your seat?” without even thinking about it, Minho told him, remembering it since he read it few moments before while showing it at the entrance, receiving a little hum of agreement hearing the rapper repeat it under his breath, as if he was memorizing it, while not a single emotion if not the smile for his fans wasn’t showing on his face. The purple haired guy could see him turning in the direction of his own section, though he was sure he couldn’t see him, even if the combination of purple, pink and blond hair surely would’ve been a big help in that sense.
Right then a staff member came out, saying something to the rapper that laughed at being caught, running in the other direction in the backstage again, under the laughs of everyone that was watching the scene. Only then, his friends seemed to notice him still at the phone, focusing completely on him so much that Minho felt like they could hear even what was being said on the phone, specially since they were shameless in posing their cheeks on his own, so that they could hear better, before he shoved them off.
“Uh, now I have to go, hyung. I will surely get a scold from Chan-hyung for that scene, but it was worth it. Hope you have fun, see you later!” the guy on the call said fast, so fast that Minho needed a second after the call ended to understand what he told him, blushing even more nervously at that, folding on his seat to contain his shriek, making his friends even more curious about the call.
“I can’t believe you ignored J.One to talk to that guy. What did you do to our hyung? Oh my, it’s like Lost, you were on the plane, but now you are somewhere else and you are the copy that pretend to be him.” Minho didn’t actually had the energy to tell him that even if he didn’t watch the show, he was sure that wasn’t the plot, also because his explanation didn’t make sense, but he decided to just avoid answering, preferring to lean on the seat to try to catch whatever hell happened in front of him only few minutes ago.
That guy was crazy.
He liked him so much.
And that realization made him giggle cutely, covering his teeth with his hand under the shocked expression of his friends, that looked at him with wide open eyes.
“Oh my, you really aren’t Minho-hyung, what did you do to him?”
“So, what did he tell you?”
They talked at the same time, sentence a little confused since the sovrapposition of their voices, but after few seconds of loading the oldest seemed to understand what was being asked to him.
“You really have to stop to watch those videos about conspiracies, they really mess up your head.” complained first, making Felix snort at Hyunjin trying to rebut, promptly hushed by Minho “Anyway, he asked me if I arrived safely and in which seat I was. Simple, nothing scandalous, I’m sorry.”
“Cute.” they responded in unison again, even with different tones, Felix more awed, Hyunjin more nauseated “Wait, why did he want to know your seat?” at Hyunjin’s question, Minho just shrugged, actually confused about that information too.
“Maybe to find him easily- Wait, but then he would just need the stadium, not the seat… Is he here hyung?” the pink haired guy was surely too much enthusiastic about all this story, fanboying as if he was watching the new romcom at the top of the charts, the one full of cliche that melted everyone’s heart anyway. At Minho’s tiny “yes?” as an answer, Felix too screamed in his ear, almost deafening him, while the two of them started to search for him excited, as if they could recognize Jisung in the crowd even if they literally never saw him without cap and hoodie. Just when Minho was going to take them by their collar to make them sit again, embarassed by their behavior, the lights went completely off for a second, followed by a mix of screams around them, so noisy now that the stadium was completely full. Without even thinking about it, they stopped for a second, looking at each other while their smile formed on their faces, starting to scream themselves in the crowd, jumping clumsily at the first lights that turned on with a tune that was fomenting the people.
Minho was astonished, feeling the warmth of the situation he was living, he still couldn’t believe that he was there and that he was going to listen and see his favorite artists in less than few seconds, his throat surely would hurt by the end of the concert by how much he was screaming, and he was sure Hyunjin would spend all the day after complaining about, specially since he already started to cry for the emotions, while Felix was already doing the fanchants that no one knew when he learned. The oldest was sure that if he was even just a little less composed, he would be a mess of tears too, but he was resisting, at least he had to see them, with blurry eyes he couldn’t watch anything and now watching that was more like a need inside his body.
The last lights went on, the beats turning louder, making the bass rumble in his stomach, like a fire ready to explode. The screen presented few texts in japanese, surely some kind of greeting he couldn’t translate, except for few words in corean that flied by, too fast to focus on them, specially when the principal three screen presented the outline in black of the three artists, the beats changing suddendly to something more recognizable, “3racha”, their last single. Minho started to mouth the songs, following the crowd, and the show began.
First to appear in the lights was CB97, as usual, as the leader, jumping powerfully on the lower stage and making everyone lose their minds. Then it was SpearB’s turn, from the left, mic ready to his lips to rap the first lines, cap on his head. In the background he could hear Hyunjin’s scream getting louder. Only then it was the turn of the last but not least, the maknae from the right, Jisung that ran on the stage like an excited kid, changing his mood completely when at the center of the stage and he started to rap. He was dressed like before, they were all coordinated with shirt with no sleeves, the name of the group on the front in different colors and a pair of jeans, something simple that let them move around easily without being uncomfortable. Minho felt like he could faint sooner or later and honestly, he wouldn’t even be embarassed if it happened, he thought that everyone in the arena would understand him for doing that.
Just then he noticed how in his mind, Jisung was only Jisung, J.One felt like a stranger’s name on his tongue already. He only hoped the other didn’t mind since it felt very intimate to call him that, but that was a thought for another moment, now he would just enjoy the concert, and he did, jumping on rhythm with the songs, feeling the sparks around him, given by both the artists and the crowd. The song ended what he felt like it was too soon, making the group reunite at the center of the stage, smiling and a little sweaty already from the way they were running and moving from a place to the other.
CB97 was the first to talk, doing their usual greeting, the happiness was evident in his tone, even when he waved while saying few words in japanese. But that actually scared Minho, already terrified at the thoughts that they would speak only in that language, since he couldn’t understand anything if not few words of courtesy. If it was english at least he could’ve asked Felix to work as his translator, but his friends weren’t that better than him in the local language. Luckily, it didn’t seem to be the case, since CB97 himself switched soon to korean, apologizing for not knowing many other words, the real translator in background doing their job to explain it. He felt relief at that, he would’ve feel really bad if he couldn’t understand anything about what were they going to say. The leader spoke most of the time, interrupted by the other two every now and then to tease him or to laugh together, creating a comfortable atmosphere that Minho never thought he would have felt in presence of a so big crowd. He actually saw on the internet some videos and even entire concert live of the trio, but being there, without a real screen between them, being able to be heard when he answered, was a completely different feeling, even if he was one in hundreds.
Actually, the part that he would consider cringe of himself hoped that Jisung would still search for him in the stands, but he blushed at the thought, since the other was working right now and it was silly to even think about it. But nothing would make him more embarassed than seeing his friend cry at SpearB’s aegyo, vision followed by a whisper from a deep voice in his ear and a wink.
“Don’t worry, I recorded it.” now they were talking, he was always ready to have compromising material so he could threaten the people around him, it was for nothing that he kept his phone storage connected to the drive, so that he could double save everything with the fear of losing them. Both the compromising material and his cats’ pictures, those were at the top of his priorities.
“You’re an amazing public, we hope you’ll have fun with us like we’re doing!” were Jisung’s words, followed by the agreement of the crowd, that made him scream excited in the mic, making the other two laugh, while Minho giggled softly. The concert re-started soon and with that the ache in Minho’s throat given by the fact that he knew every song and that meant that he HAD to sing every lyrics, it didn’t matter if he would stutter a little in the faster rap parts, that instead were easy to Hyunjin and Felix, but he couldn’t shut up, even if he actually was hurting from the bite he gave to himself trying to end a difficult line of Heyday. He was full on adrenaline, jumping on time and feeling the crowd around him doing the same. Everynow and then Felix would throw an arm around his shoulder, including the other two in the screen of his phone to take videos or pics, embarassing him a little since he didn’t know what to do, while the younger was doing finger hearts at the camera as if it was his job. He giggled anyway, the excitement hard to hide and his cheeks in pain by how much he was smiling, the bite on his tongue long forgotten since he couldn’t think about ending a song that it was already starting another, just few seconds of break between one and the next, enough to recognize the first notes and prepare the lyrics in his mind like a text to read. And at every mistake made by someone nearby, he couldn’t resist rolling his eyes by instinct, making Hyunjin laugh when he noticed, if he wasn’t too focused on crying over Streetlight. Luckily his make up was waterproof, so he appeared flawless as usual, only with a soft blush around his eyes and cheeks that made him even prettier. Felix instead was vibing, already making friends with the people by his other side, sharing each other’s social so that they could keep in touch even after the event. Minho wasn’t even sure how he could hear them with the music so loud in their ears, but it was also because the oldest couldn’t think about anything else if not the concert in front of him, amazed by everything. He felt like a kid in front of a Christmas’s tree, hypnotized by the lights, but his eyes always went directly to Jisung, moving only from the stage to the screen to stare at his face, following with his gaze the little drops of sweat he could see in the reflexes. He still couldn’t believe that he had the same guy even closer to himself not much time before.
Another break to make the artists catch a breath was too soon, indicating how time passed too fast for Minho’s liking, but at least it meant he could sit for few minutes, releasing a sigh and leaning completely on the metal seat as if he was drained of every energy in his body. Felix was still chatting with the boy on the seat next to him in english, while Hyunjin decided to use Minho’s shoulder as a pillow, using an headache as an excuse to be babied for a little. In the meantime, CB97 was talking again, voice a little raspy by how much he sang till a moment before, thanking everyone for coming to see them and annoucing how just a song was left before the would have to leave, to much disappointed from everyone, both the other two members and the public, that didn’t have much problems in showing that by shouting a sad “no” that made the leader giggle, eyes disappearing in two lines. SpearB was already threatening that he would tie himself to the stage to avoid that, followed immediately by Jisung that proposed to be the one to do that for him, proposition that made him be followed around the stage while running for his life, deciding at the end to use CB97 as a shield while making the tongue at his friend. As usual the older calmed their spirits, even if it was obvious it was only a joke between the two of them, and also something they did often too. Even if the fans didn’t know how they were with each other in the private, their interactions always felt genuine and maybe that was why people got always very fond of the trio, seeing them more as a group of friends following their dreams than a band of unapproachable celebrities.
“So, as you know- or maybe you don’t know. I don’t know either.” with that CB97 stopped a second, silence filled by everyone’s laugh before he spoke again “Every concert, the last song is an encore of our last song.” the crowd screamed in agreement, showing that they knew “But.” pause of effect “But our J.One requested to do a song. Today actually, few minutes before the stage.”
From SpearB’s head shaken and CB97’s raised eyebrow, it seemed that they didn’t take very well the news at first, but since they were doing it, Jisung convinced them somehow, maybe with just his maknae’s powers.
“Actually, we were a little surprised when he told us that.” SpearB added, fixing the cap on his head while Jisung was trying to hide his face “Like, it was some time since we performed this song, mostly because of J.One himself.”
“Yeah, this is one of our oldest, we could say it’s not our style anymore but we know many people still love this, so, let’s have fun!” CB97 ended the speech, indicating to the band to start. Jisung was already at the center of the stage, head low, emanating focus in what he was going to do, while everyone got up again, discussion about what song it would be. Even Minho’s started to guess, given the few clues that were given to him, and he had the illumination right at the first note of the song, making his eyes open wide before a laugh escaped his lips. His friends seemed still oblivious, making him laugh even more when the answer was obvious for him, starting to clap at the rhythm of the song before the lyrics would start. Jisung raised his head, a light smile on his lips, before getting the mic closer to his lips, ready to spit the first line, and the purple haired guy was ready to follow him, opening his mouth to sing with him the words.
“Excuse me, hyung, but do you have a boyfriend?”
Minho stopped.
And maybe time did too, because obviously he heard the words wrong. He was there, mouth slightly open and eyes wide, receiving a slap on his shoulder from Hyunjin that was asking if he heard the same as him, but his friend’s voice was almost muffled in confront of his own heartbeat. Because obviously he heard wrong, and obviously it was his only imagination that Jisung was constantly turned in his direction, or at least in the section he was in, smirk on his lips as if he just did the biggest bravado in his entire life, self-satisfied by his own actions. The other two rappers were behind him, smiling too and maybe laughing a little, since the camera wasn’t focused on them their expressions were that visible, but the crowd was going insane, screams everywhere. Felix obviously was recording everything on camera, while Hyunjin was still screaming in the ears of a petrified Minho, as if he was actually able to answering him any moment. It didn’t seem to be the case, since his mind wasn’t working right while the song was going on, male pronouns and hyung in every line to replace the noona and the female ones. Was it a coincidence?
Could Minho at least hope in his heart that Jisung in the song was referring to him?
Actually, he had to admit that “WOW” was a little cringe as a song, in his playlist mostly to make him laugh when he was in a bad mood, he couldn’t even believe he was now blushing because of that, he only hoped that Jisung didn’t know the effect he was having on him right now. Or maybe Minho was just projecting since well, there were hundreds of people, it’s not like the song could be for him, a person in a crowd. Right?
But his heart ached for it to be true.
“WOW” ended too, the public stumbling every now and then for the little changes the trio made to suit the male prospective, at which the rappers didn’t even hide their laughs, and in fact they joked about it too when they had to give the last greetings.
“If you had difficulties, just you know that it was J.One’s fault.” SpearB started.
“Yah- hyung!” was the offended reprimand of the youngest, that throw an arm around his shoulders to pretend he was going to headlock him, making everyone laugh.
“Actually, I didn’t even think so many people would know the words. It’s been a while since we performed WOW.”
“I could never guess why.” was Jisung and SpearB sarcastic answer, not in sync but almost, making them join their index with a little “jinx”, while CB97 only shook his head, fond of those two who he always called his kids.
“Unfortunately.” just that word made the entire crowd whine in protest, joined by Jisung that screamed in the mic again “Unfortunately, it’s closing time. We had a great time today, you were- are an amazing public, we hope you enjoyed it as much as us, I think I can talk for the three of us.” and with that the leader turned to his colleagues, that nodded enthusiastic “But now we have to go, be careful going home and grab something to eat, okay?” he waited the crowd’s answer before smiling and waving. The three actually went to the backstage going backwards, using both hands to wave and because of that losing balance every now and then with the crowd cheering on them until they disappeared from the view.
Like a deflated balloon, Minho let himself fall on his seat, followed by his friends that used his shoulders to rest their heads, eyes looking at the stage as if they still couldn’t believe what happened in front of them just few moments ago.
“It was-”
“Yeah.”
They couldn’t even form sentence by how much their brains were just repeating the show, as if they had to burn every second in their memory. They even held hands, squeezing them as a way to prove that it was all real, before they just screamed at the top of their lungs, and if Minho actually kicked his feet on the ground, that was something no one had to know outside of it, while Felix was jumping on the spot and Hyunjin was just repeating “wow, like, wow” under his breath like a mantra.
“Pinch me, pinch me.” the pink haired repeated, showing his arm to the oldest that actually slapped him hard close to his elbow, making him groan in pain before trying to do the same to him by instinct, stopped by his menancing gaze.
“I don’t think I can go back after this.” the blond whispered, back to sitting, making the other two nod “It was amazing. Like, did you see them? They were so fucking cool.”
“Yeah, yeah, and when they performed We Go, like when they sat on the couch at the end. So cool! How can I be a couch?” that was Hyunjin that spelled the last question while typing it on his phone, tongue poking out from his lips in concentration. The oldest gave him a powerful side eye, but the youngest stopped him from commenting on that, shooking softly his head to let the third friend keep a little of his dignity. They stayed sit to chat, waiting for at least few people to move and leave so that they didn’t have to pull and push their way out, so Felix took the opportunity to let them see the pics he took so that he could choose the ones to post. His phone as usual had the best quality and the zoom made it so that they could see clearly the rappers in the shoots, so Minho pointed at some of them so that the younger would send him those ones, since he didn’t take his phone at all since the call.
The call.
Now that the adrenaline was a little slowing down, he remembered the way Jisung closed it with a “see you later”. Was he meaning in a literal way, or it was just a figure of speech? Maybe he actually misunderstood, like he did with the lyrics of WOW, but he couldn’t stop thinking about it. And it seemed like he wasn’t the only one who remembered it, since Hyunjin stopped from trying to take the phone from Felix so that he could delete the videos in which he was crying to turn smug to his hyung.
“Hyung, where is your loverboy, anyway? Maybe we can find him before going out.” he proposed, starting to look around again as if he could see something to recognize, while Minho just wanted to blend with his seat.
“I don’t know-” he lied, because obviously he knew where Jisung was, just that it wasn’t a seat, it was the fucking backstage, how could he explain that to them though? So to divert the subject he took his phone, opening the chats to see Felix’s photos, and then he noticed that it wasn’t the only chat with notifications, in fact there were new texts in Jisung’s one as well. Seeing that, he quickly sit on the limit of the seat, as if he had to run away any moment while opening it.
“Don’t go out, wait there! I’ll send Seungmin to pick you. Seungmin is our manager, but I think you know that.” and as usual, when he read out loud the wink emoji, he did it himself, burning from shame at his own action.
So Jisung really did want to meet him.
It was all real.
And he could feel himself fainting any moment.
He heard his friends calling him few times before he was able to answer with a sound from his throat. They looked at him with raised eyebrows, before informing him that it was time to go, and before he could explain the situation, a voice called for him.
“Minho-ssi?”
He turned to the voice’s direction, seeing a guy with caramel hair and a wide smile walking in their directions, so he nodded. He needed a second but he easily recognized him as Kim Seungmin, the young manager of 3Racha, since he appeared often in their contents. Actually there was a fanbase for him too, since he was handsome and everyone noticed how well he did his job. In his hand there was a folded paper that he put in his pocket with neat movements, but Minho quickly read that on it there was written the number of his seat in a messy handwriting, surely Jisung’s. The manager bowed, so he stood up to do the same, while the other two were looking at the scene without any idea of what was happening. In the background he could hear Hyunjin explaining to Felix who the new guy was, since he seemed still oblivious, and then they started to whisper their doubts about what he was doing there with them and why he was searching for their friend.
“Luckily it was easy to find you three. He told me the seat and then he told me to search for a purple haired guy accompanied by two that seemed a strawberry and lemon icecream. So yeah, you check all the points. Shall we go?” he smiled politely, indicating the way they had to go to who knows where, but seeing that they all looked at him like deers in front of the lights of a car, he turned his head a little, confused “This way-?” he tried again, and this time Minho took courage, even if he was still confused, stopped by two firm hands on his arms.
“Hyung, wait. What’s happening? Also, ouch, we are strawberry and lemon?” Felix asked, a worried crease between his eyebrows indicating him and Hyunjin, that was keeping attention on the fourth person, to check what he was doing. He couldn’t understand if Felix was more worried or offended by the comment about their hair.
“I don’t know- but trust me!” he tried to explain himself, releasing his arms and putting his hands in front of him, voice a little uncertain “I will explain it to you later but it’s not anything bad. At least, I think.”
“It depends actually. They can be pretty annoying.” Seungmin interrupted him, a soothing tone in his voice “But actually I think he’ll cry if you don’t come, so please follow me. Obviously all of you are invited.” the eye rolling was an explanation perfect to notice his annoyed tone, even if it could be detected a little of fondness too. The trio of friends looked at each other, questioning, but after few seconds it seemed that they came with a decision, so Hyunjin got first to follow the new guy, starting to walk.
“Well, down the rabbit hole we go.” was Felix’ comment, last in line.
They walked down the stairs, careful to not get pushed by the people that were going out, since they were against traffic, coming closer to the stage little by little. They had to go through lots of little steps, since they were in the high part of the stands, but at the end they arrived on the ground floor, where they greeted with a bow the people that were working to dismantle everything, receiving some nods as answers, while still following the manager. Even if they were fast on their feet, the tension could be sensed, so Felix gripped the back of Minho’s sweater, like a kid that could be lost in a crowd, even if more they walked, less people were around them, going in the backstage. A surprised gasp could be heard from Hyunjin when entering in that zone, while the oldest still looked around him, both confused and hopeful, but even more excited to meet the guy that was in his mind from that morning. His fingertips were tingling, making him scratch them with the nails, and every step he could feel a little tremor in his legs, almost as they were going to give up before arriving to the destination because of how much nervous he was. He didn’t even know what to expect, since he lowered his hopes a lot to avoid getting them crumbled to the ground. Maybe Jisung would just greet him, get him an autograph and they were ready to go, he couldn’t even think (or hope) of anything more. Even if he humetted his lips without thinking, covering them in shame when he noticed what he did.
They walked through some corridors, all similar to each other, with white doors on each side, but they finally stopped to one in particular and from outside they could hear some voices on the other side. Hyunjin stopped before them, so they ended to collide into him, almost falling like a domino because of that, making Seungmin chuckle even if he tried to hide it with an hand, before noticing something.
“Oh, I didn’t introduce myself, I’m Kim Seungmin, nice to meet you.” and he bowed, showing his card to them “Anyway, we’re here, thank you for following me and these guys’ whims, I hope it wasn’t a problem. If you need help getting out, let me know, I’ll accompany you outside if you need it. Now I have to go, just knock and they’ll let you in.” and he pointed to the door in front of him, as to be sure that they understood which one. They greeted him softly while he went away, waving their hands, still confused about the situation, specially the two youngest, that looked at Minho with questioning glares.
“I really hope we don’t get kidnapped, hyung.” Hyunjin declared, still in a low voice, as if he was scared he would get caught, but the oldest was quick to shut him up.
“Oh come on, you would follow SpearB even if he was actually a criminal, now come on, knock.”
“Why do I have to knock? You told us to trust you, we don’t even know why we’re here.”
“You got here first now kn-”
Felix knocked.
He also returned fast behind Minho to hide, while the other two were still bickering, but they stopped as soon as they heard the sound, ready to scream at the youngest since they weren’t ready yet to know what there was behind the door, but they couldn’t, since it was opened in front of them in a second, showing a guy that raised his gaze to look at them.
By instinct, Minho’s hand went behind Hyunjin’s back to support him in case he was going to faint on the spot, but he seemed to be just petrified if not the shivers that were covering his whole body, so he was (mostly) safe. Even the other two friends were still, the oldest swallowing while the youngest released an embarassed chuckle, not believing who was in front of him. The same guy that now was looking at them, one by one, until he stopped to Hyunjin, his gaze going from head to toe with such focus that for a second it seemed like he was burning his image in his eyelids, with a smirk on his lips.
“Oh- Hello there.” he finally greeted them, while they were still in their position, and Hyunjin raised his hands very slowly, moving it in a greeting, words stuck in his throat while the flush on his face made the pink of his hair envious “So, you’re the guy Jisungie was talking about? I’m not the type to go against the bro code but-” and with that he moved to let them in the room, eyes still fixed on the pink haired guy, the last sentence more a mutter to himself before inviting them inside. They entered in a line, almost like little penguins, Felix’s grip still firm at the back of Minho, that opened the line since Hyunjin didn’t seem able to move without trip over the air, showing his clumsy side.
The room was a dressing one, with some mirrors against a wall and few lights, surely to check the make up, maybe too many seats and what seemed to be a very comfortable couch where there was a lying figure, that raised his gaze right at their entrance, a bright smile and eyes in two lines. He quickly stood up, and this time Felix released a squeak, while gripping even stronger Minho’s back, almost hurting him and making him yelp with a scolding gaze. Hyunjin was still looking at the floor, too embarassed to do anything since the first guy was still looking at him every now and then, even if surely he wasn’t offended by it, just a little self-conscious maybe. The second guy stood up and walked closer to them, careful to not trip on the little table that was between him and the group, before raising his hands to shake Minho’s, since he seemed to be the only a little functioning in the situation, even with the koala that Felix was becoming on his back. Minho carefully shook his hand, excited himself, so much that he could feel himself trembling a little, not even knowing if he was able to speak without blattering something strange. He really hoped he didn’t make any bad figure, or he would ask someone, it didn’t matter who, to bury him somewhere from the shame. His eyes wandered a second, searching for the third figure that he would’ve expected to see in the room, but it seemed like just the two older were present now.
“Sorry for this kind of ambush, but Sung was pretty excited to see you again so he asked if he could take you here.” the second guy explained, polite.
“Yeah, he just couldn’t stop rambling. Minho-hyung here, Minho-hyung there, we held hands excetera, excetera.” was instead the first guy’s remark, with a smirk that meant that he surely mocked the guy before they arrived to the room. The purple haired guy smiled at that, feeling sheepish that Jisung would talk about him, posing an hand on his lips to cover that and hoping that the blush on his cheeks wasn’t that evident.
“Oh- we didn’t introduce ourselves, I’m Chan, that’s Changbin, nice to meet you.” the second guy -CB97, Chan, he was talking to them, the real one- clapped his hands while saying that, while the first – SpearB, Changbin, Minho still couldn’t believe himself- nodded in greeting, taking off the cap he was keeping on his head until that second.
“We know.” was the trio of friends obvious answer, embaressed when they noticed what they said and reacting in different way, Felix hiding himself even more, Hyunjin groaning and Minho facepalming, something that made the other two laugh actually, surely not expecting that boldness from the trio. The oldest decided to gain a little more composure, coughing as if it could cancel his shyness.
“The koala behind me is Felix.” he introduced him, so the youngest raised his hand in a shy wave, still hidden “This one all in pink is Hyunjin.” that nodded at his own introduction “And I’m-”
“Minho-hyung!” was the scream that interrupted him, before a body collided with him at full speed, making him stumble a little and almost lose both his and Felix’s balance. It was a second before he found in front of him Jisung, still a little sweaty from the concert, shiny eyes and a bright smile on his face. He couldn’t stop himself from reciprocate it before noticing, the younger taking his hands between his in a greeting, dandling them together in a childish yet cute way, making the purple haired guy flush under his gaze, almost as if they completely forgot there were other people in the room with them “How was the concert? Did you like it? How much cool was I from ten to ten?”
Too many questions in an excited tone that made Minho’s head spin a lot, specially since he couldn’t find the strenght to talk, opening his mouth few times without sounds that would come out, so that it was even more embarassing and frustrating for him, remaining in silence.
“Did you look at me right? I hope you weren’t distracted by the hyungs.” Jisung’s tone in an instant was lowered, while he took another step in his direction, so that they were so close that some hair were tickling Minho’s forehead, his warmth almost burning his skin even if they weren’t touching if not for the interwined hands. The purple haired guy was sure that his uncovered neck was now red by how much he was blushing because of the rapper’s words, the same rapper that was now smiling at him, satisfied of the effect he was having on him. But then he laughed, taking a step back with a giggle, not leaving his hands though but putting some distance so at least Minho could breathe, and he thanked him mentally for that.
"In that case it means that I'll have to do a greater job next time." he finished, sending him a wink that left Minho speechless again, malfuctioning at the idea of a next time. But he didn't have the time to connect the dots since the blue haired guy then looked at the dancer’s friends, that were still standing there with eyes as big as pennies, staring at the situation between the two but even more at the guy as if nothing made sense.
“Hi, it’s a pleasure to see you again!” he greeted them cheerfully, raising his hand that was still gripping Minho’s in their direction and luckily not getting offended when they just kept staring at him without answering, returning his attention on the dancer in front of him in a second. Few seconds passed in silence, as if they were waiting for something, and that happened in the realization coming on Hyunjin and Felix like a brick of solid concrete, making them scream in unison while pointing at the interwined hands.
“Oh my, you were-”
“Right! The guy this morning.”
“Jisung IS Jisung.”
“How couldn’t I see it?”
They were talking so fast that it was pretty hard to actually decipher what they were speaking about, adding exaggerated expressions and some gasps now and then while their hands went around as if they were drawing the scene in the air with some kind of magic, before looking at each other and turning to Minho at the same time to leave him with a gigantic side eye, offended that their friends would keep it a secret. Feeling not guilty but at the same time like he needed to explain himself, he mouthed a “later” before turning all his attention again on Jisung, that was chuckling at the situation, catching on what was happening, like the other two in the room did, even if without all the clues. Chan was looking at them amused and soft while Changbin couldn’t hide the smirk, finding the entire event in front of his eyes entertaining, before speaking.
“So, you’re Minho?” pointing at him, that nodded in confirm, before the attention of the rapper was already on the pink haired boy “So, you aren’t?”
Hyunjin shook his head, still confused and ready to introduce himself again, even if Minho already did for him few moments ago.
“Why are you asking that? I already told you, hyung is mine.” Jisung was now pretending to throw a tantrum, stomping his feet in the other’s direction before giving the purple haired guy a wink to let him know they were joking, leading him to sit on the couch so they could sit together. Chan sit on the chair beside them, Felix on his tail following in tiny steps, still a little too nervous to talk but at least not attached to Minho as before.
“Yeah yeah, it’s just that you told us that he was the most handsome guy you’ve ever seen and many other comments that I won’t repeat to let you preserve that little dignity you have left.” the youngest of 3Racha was ready to fight him, red like an apple, but he was stopped immediately by Minho that squeezed his hands laughing.
“Oh, but I want to know what he said though.” he teased him, nodding at Changbin that just laughed, raising his hands in surrender while Jisung kept whining that it wasn’t fair and that they were fighting two against one. The dancer joined the laugh, massaging his hand, since the other one was released when they sat down, too uncomfortable to be in that position. Then Changbin again turned to Hyunjin, being the only two still standing up, seeing how the guy was looking at him, even if he turned immediately, embarassed to get caught in his staring. The rapper couldn’t not find him cute, biting his lip to hide the smile that was forming on his face before talking to him.
“Sorry if I got confused, when Sung said that he met the most handsome guy and you opened the door- well…” he left the compliment unfinished on purpose, even if it was evident the meaning, that much that Hyunjin opened his mouth a little only to swallow, putting his hand on his cheeks to cover unsuccessfully the blush “No offense.” Changbin said to Minho, that just shook his head.
“No problem, but to let you know, if you keep going like that you’ll have to take him in your arms because he’ll faint for sure.” was his mocking answer.
“I wouldn’t mind.”
“I wouldn’t mind.”
The pink haired guy and the rapper talked in unison, their tones different, the first’s more like a whisper, as if he was confessing a fantasy, while the other’s was confident and flirting, making them turn to each other, this time both blushing profusely. Changbin scratched the back of his neck, while Hyunjin lowered his gaze, while the two sitting on the couch looked at them as if they were watching a tennis match, going from one to the other and opposite. In the meanwhile the two Australians were engrossed in a long and very talkative discussion in english, not very understandable by the others, both because of their not that great english and the fact that they were speaking very fast, the accent coming out deep for both of them, but at least they seemed very comfortable in each other’s company, even if no one understood how they started to talk since Felix few moments before seemed like he completely forgot how to speak. Meanwhile the two still very flushed guy decided to sit too in the last chair available, that were next to each other.
“Aw, so you’re close to me Hyunjinnie.” Changbin did the aegyo, pretending to give him a little punch but without touching him at all, since they were still strangers. But that didn’t mean he couldn’t flirt a little, and it’s not like the pink haired dancer was against it, amused in his smile but still a little shy. Minho was so taken in observing the scene in front of him that he didn’t notice Jisung that came closer to him, whispering in his ear, the soft breath like a tickle on his skin.
“It seems like they completely forgot about us.” he jumped on the spot by the surprise, being able to suppresse at least the little yelp and nodding, agreeing with that, since his friends seemed very happy to be talking with the rappers “Did you really like the show, hyung?” was the next sentence, in a tiny and insecure voice, while the blue haired guy leaned his head on the older shoulder, in a way that was too similar to the position they were on the plane some hours before. Minho smiled at the memory, before answering.
“Obviously, you were all amazing, but I already knew that. You even exceeded my expectations and they were high enough.” Jisung giggled at the compliment and the older hoped he was able to convey his emotions with his words, since he was still amazed about the fact that he was there in his company that he couldn’t think properly.
“Are you proud of your husband?” the younger mocked him, a grin on his lips, blinking his eyes in a way that should have pretended to be innocent, not hiding the mischief at all though. Minho felt himself burn by the shame, covering immediately his face with both hands and groaning, the sound muffled by the palms, while Jisung was laughing out loud, attracting everyone's attention that turned to look at the couple, confused, but the younger just shrugged, so that they weren't the center of their thoughts and they could return to their awkward conversations. Without being seen by anyone else, he made a nod to Chan, that returned the move, understanding immediately his intentions and already talking so the others could focus on him, leaving the two lovebirds free to fly away. And so they did, or at least Jisung took Minho's hand, pulling him so that he stood up and making him go through the only other door, the toilet's one. The blue haired guy quickly closed the door behind them, to be alone for some time, not locking it though to not make the other uncomfortable, ready to leave if he had the wish. Not that Minho seemed to have the intention, waiting for Jisung's move. From their interwined hands, they could both sense the tremor in each other's hands, both nervous and excited about the situation they were in.
"I was sincere, you were amazing." the older whispered to at least say something to break the ice, making the other smile, the cheeks round and soft at the touch even if he never touched them to prove that.
"I know, I could sense your staring at me all the time." Jisung joked, chuckling, and Minho for a second thought that it was true, since he actually never looked anywhere else for all the concert, the only thought making him blush everywhere while he tried to think of an excuse "But after all, I'm your husband, so it's obvious you would do that."
"If you keep going on like this, I'll ask for a divorce." was the only rebuttal he was able to think of, at which the blue haired guy opened his mouth, offended, while taking a step forward, cornering Minho at the sink that was behind him.
"How could you? Now that we finally met each other, you already want to break up with me?" was his dramatic answer, whining as if he was going to cry at any moment, glossy big eyes on his face.
"But we're not actually together." was the quick answer at the teasing, making Minho bite his tongue since he worried that he ruined the mood between them by that glimpse of reality, but in Jisung's eyes seemed just to be a glint of challenge, adding a little smirk on his lips.
"That can be fixed pretty easily."
Minho never felt so close to faint in his entire life, but with the way the rapper was smiling at him, cheeks a little red and hopeful eyes, head a little tilted to the right so that his bang would cover slightly his expression in a really cute way, as if he was a little shy about his own consideration. He was even biting slightly his lower lip, waiting the older's reaction. Not that the other was able to say or do anything, his mind completely stuck with red lights, not even understanding if those were the panic or the spicy ones, the thing was that he was starting to feel like a prick, still as he was, staring at the way the younger's teeth were leaving a trace on the lip, kinda hoping of something but maybe too timid to get it. At the end the older was able to just nod a little, making the younger's eyes sparkle more while making a step in his direction, leaving a soft peck on his lips and retreating with a wide smile. Not that Minho had actually the time to see that, since he quickly reconnected their mouth for another peck, his hands on Jisung's cheeks, appreciating the softness of them under his fingers. He didn't press too strongly, but that didn't seem to be a problem since the other was the one to do it, moving an hand to the purple haired guy's waist, squeezing it and crumpling the cardigan's fabric. The sensation made the dancer gasp, his hands going to the back of Jisung's head, playing with the little hair on his neck, something that made the rapper chuckle on his lips. Minho took that opportunity to do what he wanted before, leaving a little bite on his mouth, while the other took an hand under the cardigan, touching the warm skin and scratching it with the short painted nails. Still mouth closed, it was more a pression than anything, not even opening their mouths, but that didn't mean they didn't feel the little sparkles around them, as if they were surround by many tiny fireworks. But it wasn't enough and he didn't have problems in showing that, tugging at the blue hair to make the other understand his desire. It was fulfilled in one second, feeling the rapper tongue pushing softly on his mouth that he opened immediately, sighing while doing it. He felt the wobbling of his legs, almost making him fall, but luckily Jisung did too, so he pushed him at the wall, blocking him between it and his body, while the older muttered a thanks under his breath, mouth full and busy so that it almost didn't understand his own words while doing so. The rapper's hands keep wandering, joined at the back of the dancer, while tracing his spine softly and then grabbing his waist with strenght, as if he didn't know if he wanted to merge with his body or if he wanted to treat him like the most precious and fragile thing in the world.
Minho surely didn't mind.
Pressing on each other's bodies like that made the fireworks feeling more like a constant fire, as if it couldn't stop them from burning. Or maybe one was the flame and the other was like a moth attracted to it, ready to get burnt if it meant they could touch it. But even if the fire was a really attractive element, it couldn't exist without oxygen and so they couldn't either, having to stop to catch some air. Minho leaned his head on the wall taking a big breath, sensing his lips tingling a little and knowing for sure that his skin was so red that he could compete with his own trousers, visible specially thanks to his own uncovered collarbone, that seemed to be of great attraction for the other guy.
"No shirt under the cardigan? So lewd." was the first sentence out of Jisung's mouth while smirking, the hand still on Minho's skin, caressing it so softly that it was giving the other goosebumps, while trying to not melt on the spot. The older felt his cheeks getting hot, while he explained blabbering that the cardigan was warm enough for the weather, even if he could tell that the younger was teasing him.
"Oh, but you seem very hot right now. Maybe it's too thick, do you want me to take it off for you?" and while saying the proposition, Jisung's hands were already at the buttons, picking at them with his nails so that the little thud noise was the only background music in the older's ears, so focused on it that he couldn't even hear the chattering outside the room. That and the pumping of his blood between his brain and some other part of himself that he didn't want to think about at the moment. He didn't want to have a boner by some little make out session with his celebrity crush since forever, he was better than that, but his body didn't seem to agree with that consideration, leaving him with dry lips that he wet, seeing Jisung's eyes following the movement very carefully.
After a second of silence, they both chuckled.
"That was very cheeky." Minho accused him, pointing the rapper's chest in an accusatory but teasing tone while the other laughed slightly, ears so red that they could light the room.
"Sorry, not my best one." he agreed, still moving his fingers up and down the older's back "Not that I need those anymore, it seems I already made a good impression with the ones on the plane." and he wiggled his eyebrows, making the other laugh.
"You could've stayed silent and you would have made a good impression anyway." the dancer confessed in a whisper, not noticing how Jisung's eyes darkened a little, not in a good way. Right then someone knocked on the door loudly, shouting at them from behind it in a mocking tone.
"Lovebirds! Come out now! Or I'll enter!" it was very recognizable Changbin's voice in it, but also laughs could be heard, making the two people in the toilette flush even more since they didn't want to get caught like that. It didn't matter that much that it was impossible that Chan couldn't keep the others distracted that much time before noticing the absence of the two. Minho sighed while the younger nodded, as if he was agreeing with whatever pissed word was heard in that sigh, the darkness in his eyes hidden but still there, as if a bad thought was in his brain like a storm full of clouds and rain. He moved, squeezing the other's hand while coming out, not leaving even when, surrounded by their friends, they were welcomed by an applause and some whistles too. Minho really hoped a hole would open under himself to hide in it. (and if in that hole he could've had Jisung's company, it would've been even better)
"I can't believe it, cockblocked by my own idol." he muttered under his breath.
"Not your idol." Hyunjin's and Jisung's voices overlapped, while the blue haired closed in an hug the Minho while the pink haired looked timid Changbin, too shy that he actually made a move.
"And not an idol." the pointed rapper added, amused by pink haired answer and sending him a wink while Hyunjin get even redder than before, really looking like a strawberry.
"Sorry, couldn't distract them for long." Chan apologized, even if the smile wasn't very regretful, more amused actually, and Jisung rolled his eyes fondly at that. While sitting down, still close and with their hands interwined, Minho's eyes met Felix's, and he raised an eyebrow, asking for a later explanation, since for now the older didn't seem to be able to say anything really coherent, like the blushing mess he was.
"So- it seems like you're... getting along." was Hyunjin's sentence, before sipping on his own Americano that Minho didn't know how he got it. Not even a single second later, Chan offered both of them a drink with their names on them, explaining that they asked for them while they were in the bathroom. Just how much time did they spent there? For Minho were like some seconds, a minute at max, but it didn't seem to be the case. Luckily it was a cold drink, so he didn't have to worry about his stomach, while drinking a little of it from the straw. He didn't even notice how Jisung was staring at his lips around it out of the corner of his eye, turning around quickly to not get caught. By him, obviously, since the other four guys saw him fully, making him self conscious about his action.
The silence this time wasn't that suffocating as before, the tension seemed to be vanished in thin air while they weren't there, with Hyunjin that exchanged flirty looks with Changbin and Felix taking some pics of everyone and some selfies too, Chan making v-signs before admitting to the blond that he couldn't post them since there would've been a problem with the privacy and some other things that could have caused the label's complaints. Felix only nodded, smiling widely while asking if he could at least send to them, an excuse to have the oldest rapper's numbers, that answered with a raised eyebrow, meaning that he understood the undertone while taking the phone to write it down, mostly to have a friend to talk about Australia actually. It seemed to be going very fast since they met just that day, but they didn't have a problem with that, so Minho didn't either, usually the one being careful about strangers. (not that he was that much better since he received Jisung's number that same day too). Quickly the youngest created a group chat, adding the six of them after few clicks and sending the pics. Some were a little blurry, but that didn't matter, since, at least for the fans, they were something memorable. And everyone noticed how only after a second since the sending, Changbin already downloaded that one photo that Felix took of him and Hyunjin, doing a little cheer with their coffees while smiling at the phone's camera.
"Are you sure you can just give your personal informations like that? We could be... serial killers? Sasaengs?" Hyunjin tried to ask, a little nervous.
"Straight dudes." Minho added serious, mocking the previous conversation with the pink haired guy that gave him a side eye that could've scared someone. Someone very little and scaredy cat, surely not Minho, that just flashed his teeth in a smile.
"Oh trust me, we're everything except straight." was Jisung's quick answer, biting his tongue when Changbin started to laugh at his sincerity.
"He's right, but there wasn't no need since the way you came out from the bathroom." was the other rapper's tease, pointing at the way the two guys's lips were still swollen from their kisses, at which they blushed even more, the older scratching his neck, hoping to use that as an excuse for his redness. Obviously that didn't work, but at least it distracted Jisung's eyes from staring at it since the way he was looking seemed more like he wanted to bite it to leave a mark. Noticing that, Chan kicked his maknae's leg to make him stop, without anyone seeing that. He surely was the stealthy one.
"So, what are your plans now?" he then asked, at which Minho was the one to answer.
"We stay here in Japan few days, then come back to Seoul."
"To college." Hyunjin added with a groan, smacking his face with both his hands in a dramatic way. Felix smiled like a little kid while copying him, opening his fingers to let his eyes see through. Even if they didn't know each other that well, it seemed like the trio of rappers were already fond of him, typical of the blond australian, that received love everywhere he went, adorable as he was.
"You? You have that concert in Kyoto and then China, right?" Minho asked this time, swearing in his mind since he surely came out as a stalker knowing their schedules, but they didn't seem to mind, nodding while confirming it.
"Yeah, we have two concert in China, then... somewhere else. I don't remember actually." was Changbin's answer, taking off his hat to fix his hair "Why? Do you wanna come?" he then inquired to them, even if his eyes were still on the pink haired guy, as if he was interested only in his reply. Hyunjin, feeling the attention, licked his lips for then shake his head, stopping immediately.
"I mean- I would love to! We. We would love to. But we don't have tickets for that and we have to come back to Seoul for the new courses, so..." he started to blabber, high voice while he tried to not stumble on his own words, not succeding that much in doing so.
"You didn't ask us, but yes, we have the same schedule." Minho teased them, even if it resulted only in a side eye from his friend since well, he was still hand in hand with the youngest rapper, that was moving his thumb on his skin in a loving caress, as if they couldn't stay away from each other right now. Felix instead was taking some pics of the situation without them noticing, ready to blackmail them in an embarassing way when needed, even if he usually just needed to blink for things to go his way it was always better to have a plan B. Chan instead was watching them quietly, maybe analyzing what was happening to see if had to intervene. It didn't seem the case though, since a warm atmosphere was between them, so he was relaxing while sitting in the group.
Someone knocked on the door, attracting his attention, so he stood up to get it, finding Seungmin with his hand raised behind it, surely to knock again since the oldest was very quick in opening. In fact the manager stood there surprised, smiling while going inside, a little bow to greet the guests.
"I always forget that you're so fast." he teased the older rapper, receiving a smile full of dimple from him "Anyway," and he turned to the group, attracting their attention all together "I'm sorry to ruin all of this, but we have to go. The bus leaves in like... half an hour, so we have to go. I'm sure you are able to accompany our guests to the exit." and with another bow, a smile, a wink and a little wave (in that order), he disappeared in the hallway, leaving before they could even answer his farewell. The people in the room that were still sit stood up too, the trio of friends a little awkward since they didn't know if they should've actually waited for the rappers to join them to the exit or if it was better to leave with a greeting, with the risk to actually get lost in the meanwhile. Luckily Changbin noticed that, so he made a sign to wait few moments, to collect all their things from the room, while Chan did a last check in the most hidden spots. In the meanwhile Jisung was still by Minho's side, not even leaving his hand so that he couldn't get away, the same darkness in his eyes from before reappearing, this time noticed by the purple haired guy that made a confused sound at that.
They did everything in few minutes, so they got their bags, ready to go, while Changbin accused jokingly Jisung that he didn't do anything to help, receiving a middle finger by an answer, quickly scolded by the leader, making the others laugh, since it seemed like a father-son situation. The shortest rapper led the way, fast followed by the pink haired guy to have some few moments with him, making the rapper smile, a little timid this time since he didn't think the other was actually interested in him, even if as a fan-idol relationship. He just liked the way Hyunjin's eyes sparkled when looking at him, and it wasn't like the other wasn't attractive. Chan and Felix were in the middle, both on their phones, the clicking of their keyboards sounding in the hallway, but by the way their chuckles were a little coordinated, it seemed like they were actually texting each other. At the end of the row there was the couple, still holding hands, but they remained silent while walking. Minho was still thinking if he should have asked about that feeling he found on Jisung's face, but he didn't want to be too nosy, after all they weren't that close. That idea actually left a little sting in his heart, but at the end of the day, he wasn't even sure if they would've meet again. After all, the younger was a rapper-idol, he was just a student in a dance major, what were the odds? He wasn't even sure if Jisung was actually interested in him or if he was just a conquest for that day, maybe even gone bad since they didn't do anything much spicy. The purple haired guy couldn't stop himself from overthinking, feeling bad too, both because he was hoping that the spice would've happened, but at the same time he didn't want to be a flirt for a day. But what was he hoping for? It's not like they were together, and for Jisung maybe he was just that, he couldn't know. Maybe he appeared also as a fan that just wanted to go with him to say that they did something together, but Minho was sure that he would've missed the rapper from that day on if they never met again. It was a strange feeling, after all they didn't stay in each other's company for long, but it was like finding the perfect thing for himself, fearing to lose it and caring about it all the time. He only hoped Jisung was feeling the same.
At the end, he just took courage.
"Why are you sad?" he asked, interrupting the younger's thoughts so abruptly that he jumped on the spot, looking at him as if he wasn't expecting him to talk. The rapper opened his mouth few times before closing it, clicking his tongue twice too.
"Nothing, don't worry."
"That doesn't seem the case. It's just like there are... some clouds, here." he teased, hoping to appear friendly while pointing at the other's eyes, that seemed to have lost some of the lights that were there before. The younger opened slightly his mouth surprised, maybe not expecting that Minho noticed his mood, so he lowered his head, keeping his stare on his shoes while walking, using their lolling as a way to calm himself maybe.
"It's nothing much. Sorry to worry you." the words were like razors, rapid and short, as if talking more would have made him open up without a possibility to stop, so Minho stopped on his tracks, taking the other's hand that was free and keeping both of them close to look into his eyes.
"Don't be sorry, it's just... I don't know, I wouldn't like to make you upset so if I can help somehow."
"It's silly."
"Then you can tell me. And you should stop biting your lip or you'll drink your own blood. I think my work from before did a good number on it."
With a chuckle that he couldn't stop from escape, it seemed like a ray of sunshine was able to come through the clouds, lighting Jisung's smile before he spoke, voice timid and feeble like Minho never heard from him in that day that he knew him.
"I was thinking... I do that a lot actually, my being so confident isn't how usually am. I'm more of a private person, but maybe you already know that. It's just that when I saw you I told myself that I couldn't fuck it up and to make a good impression and so- here I am. But then in the bathroom, after the kiss - that I loved very much, thank you, and I didn't want it to end - I was thinking again."
"And some were bad thoughts?"
"Yeah." he nodded "It's like I was hoping something, and then I got scared, but I couldn't stop myself from doing so."
Now Minho was confused and it kinda showed it on his face, since Jisung laughed again at him, stopping before he could be hit by a joking punch.
"No need for violence, let me explain." he took again the older's hand before keep going "I like you, okay? I think you're a very interesting person, I would like to know you better. That's it."
"And would that be a bad thing?" was Minho whispered question, as if he was scared of the answer, and he was.
"Not at all. I would be stupid to even think so." a big sigh "It's just that... you're a fan. I'm interested in you as a person, not as an idol that need someone to warm their bed at night. I'm not the type and I don't know what you want, so I don't want to make me expect too much and be delusional." his voice became more high pitched more he spoke, rushing like a waterfall of words coming out of his mouth, leaving Minho speechless instead. A second of silence surrounded them.
"I thought you weren't an idol." was the first thing the dancer said, making the other puff after another second of shock.
"That's what you got from my speech?" the blue haired complained, puffing out his cheeks in a way that reminded the purple haired of the quokka, making him smile a little.
"No, but I wanted to tease you." and with a finger he touched the younger's cheek, as if it was a baloon to pop "Actually I was thinking the same, that maybe you just wanted me as a groupie and that made me kinda sad, not that I would've expected more from you. It was more a consideration."
Jisung was looking at him with wide eyes, following his speech, and being that much the center of attention actually made Minho self conscious, wanting to hide his face since he knew that he looked so flushed that it was impossible to hide it.
"But I don't think that's the case. Because I think I would've been interested in you even if I didn't knew who you were, or if you weren't famous. Maybe we could've been colleagues at college, you producing music while I dance. But for now I can tell you that I want to know you better. I want to know if you prefer a korean breakfast or something western, what's your order of coffee, how many pillows you need to sleep, what was your imaginary friend's name when you were a kid. I want to see Jisung and feel close to him while being a fan of J.One, knowing they're the same person." he didn't catch a single breath in all his discourse, scared that he would stop and regret being so sentimental, but now it was all in the other's hands.
At the few seconds of silence that followed, the older could feel his heart sink, not understanding if he said something that bad to silence the younger while raising his face, since for the whole time he was talking, he didn't look anywhere else from their interwined hands, and when he did, he met maybe the softest smile he ever saw in his entire life.
"I would like that." it was a whisper so low what came out of Jisung's throat, that Minho actually thought that he was his invention and not something real, but then the younger moved, leaving a peck on the corner of his mouth, almost too on the cheek to be considered as much, but enough to make his heart burst from joy.
"Oh- oh! Perfect then." obviously he couldn't come out with a better exclamation, ashamed by himself. That didn't seem a problem for the younger though, instead he seemed to find it cute, using one of their interwined hand to fix the other's bangs, loving.
"Like we said before, we're both pretty busy- for a while I won't even be stuck in a place and you can't travel with me. I was thinking- maybe- if you agree with this-" at Minho's side eye, Jisung stopped blabbering "I come back to Seoul in a month, for one week. Maybe we could go on a date then?"
From how much the older was moving his head to nod, you could have thought it was going to be ripped off, but he didn't seem to care that much, too happy at the proposition.
A date with J.One, his favorite idol.
No, better.
A date with Jisung, a cute and flirty guy he met on a plane.
In two months. A long long time.
"In these two months- maybe we could chat a little? To know each other." he knew that talking to him without being able to touch him would've been a pain in the ass, but not even seeing him for those two months seemed to be an even worst idea. Luckily Jisung seemed to agree, since he nodded enthusiastic.
"Well, you already have my number." and he winked, making the older blush while thinking about how the younger seemed to want to kill him with those lines, still not used at that flirting.
"Lovebirds! Come on! You can't keep to get stuck somewhere like that."
Again, Changbin's voice reclaimed their attention, making both of them sigh in unison at the upteenth interruption, but they knew it was time for a farewell, specially when they arrived in front of the bus where the older rapper was putting his bags, turning around just in time to take the maknae's one and put that one in the right corner. Before doing so, Chan told the youngest that he owed him a big one since he was helping him that much, but he pretended to not hear it, making the other sigh while rolling his eyes. Hyunjin and Felix were there too, waiting for Minho. Or maybe not, since it seemed like Hyunjin was too focused on the way Changbin's muscles moved while arranging the equipment on the bus to help the staff. Felix instead was lost in his own world, cellphone in his hand, typing something on it so quickly that his thumbs seemed just a blurry figure in the air. They didn't have that much time before the departure, actually it was already the decided hour, making Seungmin appear from inside the bus to call them to go up. He waved at the three fans, actually greeting them with a "see you soon", as if he knew they would meet again. Chan was the first to go inside the bus, not before hugging all of them to wish them good luck, saying something around the lines that he would write something in the chat sometimes. Changbin was next, he didn't hug anyone, leaving Minho and Felix pretty quickly, even if still polite, but he remained some time more with Hyunjin to give him a little package. The pink haired guy was surprised at that, not knowing what to say while opening it. Inside there was a little plushie of Dwaekki, the rapper's mascotte of the union between a pig and rabbit, made it so that he could take it around on his bag, like Minho did with his quokka, just that the pink animal was slightly bigger.
"I wanted to give you something, but it was the only thing I found since the too little time. I hope you like it." and with that, the shortest scratched the back of his head, free from the hat, using the visor to hide how much he was blushing. Not that it actually worked. Hyunjin instead was speechless, turning the peluche in his hands, not actually believing it. Just then he smiled, thanking him while putting the pink animal close to his heart, nodding at Changbin that proposed to text the next day.
Jisung, like last time, was the last one, maybe because he didn't want to depart from Minho, maybe because he seemed to be a chronic latecomer, so he needed both of his hyung to call him laughing, saying something about the fact that if Minho wanted, he could take him forever, making the blue haired pout, accusing his hyungs of not loving him. The purple haired dancer then decided to take the matter in his hands, taking the younger between his arms in bridal style and putting him on the bus while laughing at the way the other screeched, surprised by his move. And so surprised he was too, expecting to have at least some difficulties in doing so, but that wasn't the case, specially since Jisung by instinct put the arms around his neck, in the background the whistles of the others. With that he let him down only when he could put his feet on the bus, making him pout by the way it seemed like he was kicking him out (or in) to leave him. Instead he stood on tip toe, to overcome the difference given by the bus, to leave a little kiss on the other's cheek, similar to the one he was given when Jisung left him at the airport, making the younger blush while giggling happily, throwing his arms around Minho's neck this time to leave a kiss on his lips, before turning around with a wink, right when the gate of the bus closed behind him. The older could feel his mouth tingling, not even thinking about stopping the smile that was coming through them while going to his friends that were looking at him with sardonic smiles on their faces.
"We can never leave you alone, hyung." was the accuse of Hyunjin, shaking his head, while Felix seemed to be only happy for him, doing few jumps on the spot to show so. Behind them, the bus was starting to move, while a window of it got rolled down, the face of the blue haired rapper coming out of it, hands put as a microphone in front of his mouth.
"See you in a month, hyung!" and with a wave of his hand, he disappeared with the bus on the street. Minho chuckled, greeting him too, the cheeks hurting a little by how much he was smiling, but he couldn't stop himself.
One month. Seemed like he would have a great time.
