“She is crashing, quick get the paddles! This attack is worse! We need to bring her back. ”
“Shit! Her perfusion is failing, and the bleeding is getting worse. I think we should throw the towel in.”
“We managed to bring her back but now she will on ventilator. Even if she is top on the transplant list, we can’t do anything till the appropriate donor is found.”
“We can’t do anything. It is too late.”
“I know your daughter did not want a transplant but since is she still 16, the power of the decision is with you.”
“My daughter… I cannot… I… don’t want to lose her either… but…”
“Your child is a rising star for us. I can understand the dilemma she is going through but I wish you would not make her lose her one opportunity to live. She is only 16.”
“She has been registered for organ transplant. Doctor, we….”
