As time passes like the flow of a river, destiny has other plans to weave. The life of a child, brimming with innocence, is about to leave the nest.
“Bronya, I-I made my decision. I remember what you said. To find my own path.” Sumi says to Bronya.
“After I witnessed the work of The Astral Express, I should visit the world outside of Belobog. Maybe I can study abroad somewhere.”
“Hehe. I always knew that you will find your path someday, where are you heading off to?” Bronya asked.
“I don’t know. But all I do know is that I will have a great time and a moment to learn about life outside.. beyond the sky.”
2 days before Sumi parted
“Serval, what are you doing up at this hour? And isn’t that the gun that Madam Bronya used?” Gepard asked.
“Ahh Gepard.. Bronya asked me if I could do some modifications to it. It’s her parting gift for Sumi.”
“I see. Well then I hope they cherish this gift.”
Sumi’s parting day
“I’m gonna miss everyone here. But I’ll remember you all.” Sumi smiled.
“Wait!” Bronya panted as she ran towards her beloved sibling.
“Oh yeah, Sumi, I want to give you this as a parting gift before you leave. Serval did some modifications so that it can’t be that easily identified” Bronya told them.
“Bronya, is this your gun that Cocolia gifted you? I shouldn’t take it to be honest..”
“Just take it. It’s from me to you, to remind you of me. Remember to follow your own path.” She hands the gun to Sumi.
“Thank you, my dear sister.”
On that day, the little bird flew out into the big wide world, finding their light towards a brighter future. The journey for them has just begun.
