Rui was leaning into mizukis shoulders. Correct. There are on their middle school era and they're skipping classes by staying on the rooftop.
"They won't stop bullying me right?" Rui chuckles. "I highly doubt they will."
Mizuki nods. Yeah, that's probably true. Are you okay? Mizuki asks Rui while giving her a small smile in hope of comforting her a bit.
"No. But it's whatever...I just want some peace." Rui smiles back at Mizuki. He rests his head on Mizukis shoulder because it's comfortable. He closes his eyes for a moment.
Mizuki smiles a little more and pats Rui's head. "There there. I'm sure everything will work out. And I'll be here to listen to everything you want to talk about." Mizuki glances at the cityscape in the distance."The sky looks so pretty. Doesn't it?"
"I agree."
The bell rang as they were chatting. As minutes pass by when they were required to attend to their class a white chrysanthemum flower with a white vase was placed on Ruis desk. The meaning of the flower means killing theirselves.
(OKAY JUST TO INFORM YOU IM NOT SURE OF THE MEANING BUT I THINK THATS THE MEANING)
Mizuki looks at Rui's desk and sees the white chrysanthemum. She gasps. "Hey... What's this?" Mizuki takes the vase. "Rui, what...? Who left this here?"
"oh its just the bullies.."
"It's from them? Does it mean what I think it means...?" Mizuki looks concerned.
"Yeah, they've been bullying me over and over..."
Mizuki face turns slightly grim. "Those jerks. So they've been trying to make fun of you and..." Mizuki turns to look at Rui. "Hey... Are you doing okay?"
Rui acted happy and clueless.

Oh but he knew. He knew that he was on pain and was never gonna recover.

"Whoever gave me this flower thank you! This flower is beautiful."
"No, no" - Mizuki seems upset. "Rui, you know why they gave you this flower, don't you?"

They made fun of rui while tears on Ruis eyes were building up.

"Rui! Hey, hey, hey..." Mizuki goes to hug Rui but stops in order to not make it look like she was pitying them. Instead, she just puts a hand gently on Rui's shoulder. "Don't worry about it, okay? I'm sure they were just messing with you. You know the bullies, right? I mean, there's nothing to be afraid of here. They're just being stupid. But please..." Mizuki sighs and then smiles a bit and looks at Rui. "Try not to pay attention to them, okay?"
"Maybe their right mizuki.."
Mizuki looks concerned and turns her head away a bit, not knowing what to say. "Right about what, though...?"
Rui ignored mizuki and just attended to class.
As the class finished he took the white chrysanthemum flower with him.
Mizuki looks at Rui and then sighs. "Anyway... I'm gonna be late for class. Sorry, but I gotta go. You alright, though?"
"Yes, I'm ok. I'll see you later."
"Good to hear. Bye!" Mizuki gives Rui one last smile before going to her next class.
"Wait mizuki!"
"Hm? What is it, Rui?"
"I love you as a friend. Thank you for being there for me. You made me stay in this cruelty for a much longer. Thank you."
Mizuki chuckles a bit, and then smiles at Rui. "Don't mention it, really. Just remember that I'll always be with you. Alright?" Mizuki says reassuringly before going to her class.
"Im sorry if I couldn't keep the promise. The promise that no one will leave eachother."

Hes such a coward.
Mizuki looks at Rui and suddenly becomes really worried. "Oh... What do you mean by that, exactly? What promise are you talking about?" Mizuki says this while rushing back towards Rui.
Rui didn't cared anymore and headed to the school rooftop.
"Rui! Wait!" Mizuki chases after Rui, but then, she sees something and stops in her tracks. ... Mizuki looks at Rui who was heading towards the roof. Rui was alone, as if he wanted to be alone. Mizuki tries to make a silent call for help, asking students to go to the roof, but no one hears her. "Dammit..."
Mizukis class was finished
Mizuki didn't know what Rui was going to happened to him. But once class is after she stumbled upon a group of crowd surrounding from the side of the rooftop.
Mizuki gasps and then quickly runs to the crowd. What's the matter over here? She shouts out loud, but she's completely ignored by the crowd that was too busy watching the roof. "Dammit, dammit, dammit!"
Ruis parents was there. Rui was dead.Because of bullying. Because of the pressure. because of the sadness. Because of his thoughts. His mother was hugging Ruis dead body while crying. There was a pool of blood in Ruis body. And ripped out petals from the white chrysanthemum flower. That's it. Rui had enough. He committed suicide.He killed himself. He took his own life.

"No, no, no, no, no, no... Why you, why does it have to be you?" Mizuki just can't believe what's happening and then turns to look around. She sees that some students were crying while others seemed completely motionless. Mizuki herself could barely move.
Ruis dead.
