First day of junior year! actually no, i’m not excited for this. Summer sucked, not because I hanged out with Arianna and Marley, but because I studied for most of the time.
My parents aren’t strict, not that strict , probably why i’m top of my school, or at least would be top of my school if it weren’t for Seungmin. Seungmin is someone in my grade, he’s on the basketball team with a bunch of his jock friends and he’s somehow very smart.
I don’t understand it, he’s crazy popular too. To be honest I don’t see why he’s so attractive to other people, they literally worship the ground he walks on. He’s also loaded with money. Probably because his parents work in a giant business, explains why they are never home. I don’t know though, that’s just what I heard.
I wake up and check my phone to see some notifications from my friends and the time.
6:00 AM
huh? that’s good. I get up to go brush my teeth and wash my face. I pick up my toothbrush and some toothpaste, Then, I start brushing.
I think about what I should wear today deciding between jeans or sweatpants. Maybe jeans, cause it’s the first day of school. I keep brushing for a while and end up deciding on jeans.
I spit out the toothpaste and wash my face. Stepping out of the bathroom, I head straight to my bag.
After packing my bag for all my classes today, I get changed. Today I have chosen baggy jeans, an oversized shirt and a sweater.
I go downstairs to get breakfast seeing as there is my lunch and some scrambled eggs on the table, I take my lunch and shove it in my bag, then I eat the eggs. My parents had work a bit more early this morning so they weren’t here.
I get out of the house and remember to lock the doors. As i’m walking I see my buss stop. There, Arianna is standing.
“hey Ari!”
“hi y/n” she responds
we talk about my summer break and everything that we did with Marley. Marley has her own car so she just drives herself to school, sometimes she can pick us up but she also has a sibling so it’s a bit hard.
The bus arrives and we get on. There’s an open 2 person seat near the back
“dibs the window seat!” I call
I sit down on the seat where Ari and I continue chatting.
Finally, we get to school. I get off the bus first and see Marley waiting there for us!

Still, I say a hi to Marley then walk inside to find my homeroom

Now i’m at my room i open the door to look around my class. This year i don’t have any of my friends in this class.
Other than Lola and Francis but they’re sitting together anyway.
I scan the room to find a free seat and i notice that there’s only one left. The one next to Seungmin.
